About Qing Shu Spicy Hot Pot 青蔬麻辣烫

Qing Shu Spicy Hot Pot 青蔬麻辣烫, located at 42-16 Bell Blvd, Bayside, NY 11361, is a Chinese Restaurant specializing in individual hot pot and dry pot meals. They offer both dine-in and meal delivery services.

Customers have praised the generous portion sizes and the flexibility of the menu, allowing for customization and mix-and-match options. The restaurant is particularly suitable for solo diners looking for a personal hot pot experience.

However, some reviews have noted that the broth used in the hot pot may taste like it comes from a powder mix, rather than a traditional bone broth. There are also concerns about the quality of certain ingredients, specifically the "flounder," which has been described as tasting more like catfish.

Despite these criticisms, customers generally find the restaurant to offer good value for money and express a willingness to return to try other menu items. It is advised that customers go directly to the register to view menus and pricing, as the wall signs do not display prices.

For meal delivery or inquiries, you can contact Qing Shu Spicy Hot Pot 青蔬麻辣烫 at (347) 836-8781 or +1 347-836-8781.

I forgot to take a photo of the soup, but here’s a photo of the dry pot! In general, this place is good. I don’t think the flavors are memorable. The broth in the soup tasted like it came from a powder mix as opposed to actual bone broth. That being said. It was a very generous portion of food and it is a good deal for your dollar! I will likely go back to try other items, but I won’t repeat the soup order. Lastly, the fish that they claim is flounder is actually more like a bottom feeder cat fish flavor. It was too strong for the powder soup broth. I would suggest not ordering the “flounder” fish.

Great small hot pot shop. I was traveling solo, in the mood for hotpot. This place was perfect. Personal size hotpot. Pro tip - just walk up to the register, that’s where the menus are. The signs on the wall don’t have any prices. They’re pretty flexible with the menu, meaning if you want to mix and match it isn’t a problem.

The taste was average, and the story food was not fresh. On Saturday, I ordered two spicy hot pot meals. The two of us got diarrhea. Nausea, dizziness, and stomach discomfort. Food poisoning.

My favorite soup spot in Bayside. Best fresh pork bone broth. Fresh meats and ingredients, friendly staff and chef. Highly recommend.
