My husband is Puerto Rican and this is the only true authentic good Puerto Rican restaurant in AZ! It reminds me of his mom’s cooking! Today we got the special and OH MY GOSH it was to die for! This is our go to for feel good food and will continue to be! Thanks Phoenix Coqui!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Phoenix Coqui, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The decor beautifully reflects the rich culture of Puerto Rico, setting the perfect backdrop for an authentic dining experience. The menu is a delightful journey through traditional Puerto Rican cuisine. I highly recommend starting with the tostones, which were perfectly crispy and paired with a delicious garlic sauce. For the main course, I tried the mofongo with shrimp, and it was absolutely divine—flavorful and satisfying. The staff at Phoenix Coqui were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. No meal is complete without dessert, and the flan here is a must-try! It was creamy, rich, and the perfect end to a wonderful meal. Overall, I highly recommend Phoenix Coqui for anyone looking to experience authentic Puerto Rican flavors in Phoenix. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Everytime I come here I feel right at home. From the music playing, to the decor, to the nic nacs they have displayed. It really feels like the local spot in town back in PR. The food is top notch. Food always made to order, you can taste the freshness. I can keep going on about this place, but you just have to try it out. It is amazing. Vamo pa encima Boricua🔥🇵🇷

As someone who has been to Puerto Rico I can honestly say Phoenix Coqui is as authentic as it gets. Delicious food great customer service and awesome Island vibes with bachata and merengue playing in the background. Prices and very reasonable and the food quantity is great, you get more than your monies worth. You will be missing out if you don’t try it out.
