Ambiance (5/5): The interior is beautifully decorated. It was nice and bright, low volume that you could hear each other. The decorations felt immersive and welcoming. Service (5/5): You can tell it’s great service when the wait staff all have walkie talkies! We were seated for our reservation time immediately but right beside the entrance. We asked the hostess if we could move away from the cold draft and she said all the tables were accounted for. However, she offered 1 hand warmer for each of us!! Wow, never had that offered before. Cocktails took more time to arrive than our mains and were super strong! Food: Be warned that the Sichuan food here is extremely spicy, even the mild option! While I was okay, my other guests found it way too spicy for their palate. Swing Pork Belly (3/5): The cold slices were unmarinated and required the dipping sauce for flavor. This was a nice picturesque dish but nothing to write home about. For those that can’t handle spice, this was the only dish that wasn’t spicy that we ordered. Beef slices in hot and sour soup (3/5): This was a unique flavor that I was not expecting. The soup was sour but also reminded me of traditional Chinese medicine or something that my parents made for me when I was sick. Although the beef was tender, I found it a bit too sour for my taste. Mapo Tofu (5/5): The tofu had a nice film of chili oil and the minced beef gave the dish some more flavor. It went lovely when mixed with white rice. Pepper Chicken (4/5): The cubed chicken pieces were all tender. The mild flavor of the hot peppers caused a numbing effect. I thought it tasted great!

Generallly very nice. I enjoyed the food here and the service is pretty nice. We are seated next to the bar table and the bartender guy is so nice and has great services. The food is good as always, spicy and numbing. A bit crowded and the wait time was about 30min. Def recommend!

I am so happy that they open this location in my neighborhood! I always love this mountain house chain! The food is authentic and very spicy and the ambiance is nice. The waitstaff Lily from this location is so sweet and kind. She is so passionate about the food and made great recommendations. We had the wonton in mushroom chicken soup (not spicy), the signature chicken stew and the fish with crispy rice. The fish with crispy rice is definitely our favorite; the fish is so fresh and tender, the dish is so light, not oily and flavorful. The signature chicken stew is really spicy and numbing. It was served on a burner and it was delicious. We only tried 3 dishes today and can’t wait to go back to try the rest.

As someone from Sichuan, I can confidently say this is the best Sichuan cuisine in NYC. It even surpasses other Sichuan restaurants I have ever tried in the states. The ingredients taste incredibly authentic, reminiscent of what I’d find back home. I highly recommend trying their green pepper chicken (appetizer). The service is exceptional, easily the best I’ve experienced at any Chinese restaurant. I remember Steven, if I’m not mistaken — the sweetest guy! He introduced the drinks he crafted, and the flavors were amazing. Definitely check out this restaurant if you’re in town.

Incredible place and amazing service! Very authentic 麻辣菜. Highly recommend their peppercorn beef, numbing chicken, 麻辣牛肚 and spicy and sour beef enoki soup! The dish portion size from the main menu is enough for two people to enjoy! Meant to be a family style dinner! And I love that they play Chinese 古筝 traditional music!
