Lucky Zhang's Intro

Lucky Zhang's is a Chinese restaurant situated at 5622 8th Ave in Brooklyn, New York. They can be contacted at (718) 439-3366 or +1 718-439-3366.

Based on recent customer feedback, experiences at Lucky Zhang's vary. One customer reported receiving the wrong order (pork fried noodles instead of beef fried noodles at the beef price) and found the pork fried noodles to be undercooked, advising against the restaurant. However, other customers have highlighted positive aspects.

Lucky Zhang's is noted for having a "great amount of fj breakfast and food ready to go," with the 'guobian' (锅边) soup being particularly mentioned. One customer appreciated its basic ingredients, including wood ear mushroom slices and tiny dry shrimp. Their fried dough (油条) was described as "exceptionally crispy and doughy and fat." They also offer a "shrimp crisp donut" (虾酥) which, despite not containing shrimp, was described as very good with scallions inside.

A notable feature of Lucky Zhang's is that they serve breakfast until late. However, one customer found their peanut noodle to be "just ok," noting it was quite salty and dry.

As a local Chinese restaurant, Lucky Zhang's offers a range of Chinese dishes, including breakfast options available throughout the day. Potential customers may find their ready-to-go breakfast items and unique offerings like the 'guobian' soup and 'shrimp crisp donut' appealing. However, it's worth noting the reported issue with order accuracy and food preparation in one review.

I really like how they have a great amount of fj breakfast and food ready to go. Especially the ‘guobian’(锅边) soup. Not too much flavor but all the basic ingredients are inside which im happy with (woodear mushroom slices and tiny dry shrimp stuff) Their fried dough(油条)to me is also exceptionally crispy and doughy and fat. They have “shrimp crisp donut” 虾酥 too which is like yes pls. Cant describe it too well but there isnt any shrimp in it and just has some scallions inside and just very good (to me) Nd they serve breakfast till late. Their peanut noodle is just ok, quite salty and dry. I dont hate it but its just ok.

"I ordered takeout and was shocked by what I received. There was hardly anything inside, and for the same price, I could have had a much better meal elsewhere. Despite giving over 30% tip, when I called to express my dissatisfaction, the staff confidently stated, 'This is how the dish is.' However, it falls significantly below standards! "

The food is 5 star. It’s very delicious. It feels like authentic ‘street’ Chinese food. The taste is top tier. But.. it also come with the street custom.. 2 edged sword.

This is a 24 hour restaurant. No tips required. Good for a quick bite if you're out late at night after a party. I usually get the peanut noodles, dumplings and wonton soup. The peanut noodles and wonton soups $2! Great deal!
