88 China
I will give a strong 3.9. We ordered about $60 worth of food. The white rice was very mushy. The fried rice was a little firmer but not by much. We gave them a second chance and ordered a couple days later. The rice was a little better. The noodles we're very good! Everybody can have a bad day so we plan on trying them again.
Man, what more can I say about this joint, fast, prompt service, and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly! Food came out super fast. And it was very hot and fresh! The orange chicken was tender, and the sauce was tasty! Some of the best I've had, and that's my go-to dish, so I should know. Also, a stand-out was the pork fried rice that had a really smoky taste to it, which was awesome! The combination platter was very reasonable, like 10.50 out the door.
Vin Hoa Chinese Restaurant
Vin Hoa is definitely a hidden gem in the Midwest. I would recommend this place for those seeking well-seasoned rice dishes and excellent chicken (you only get 3 per order), with the only minor drawback being the crab Rangoon's potential for improvement. They haven’t had dine-in since the pandemic…and always have plenty of parking.
2 out of last 3 times, food tasted burnt, had a friend try it for first time and everything tasted like it was burnt, and at $60 + per visit, not worth the risk to us anymore.
Lam's Garden
Very good Chinese food! To start I got the wonton soup and added veggies it was really good and the crisps were good and fresh. I got the Mongolian chicken combo meal that I thought came with egg roll and choice of something else but they didn't bring my egg role because I said wonton but they brought me one at no extra charge. I asked for my chicken. To be spicy and they did a good job of kicking it up a notch. The chicken was super tender and delicious. The fried rice was really good and the egg roll was also good. The fried wontons were different but good. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely visit again.
Maybe one of the best St.Pauls I ever had, and that's saying a lot. It has the perfect amount of salt added at the end. The fried rice is good, too. I come from Stl to Illinois to get it. That's how good it is..
China Pearl
Called in an order and they were very nicr, efficient and accurate! This family has always worked so hard and you can tell by the fact that they were so busy! Owner double checks orders to ensure accuracy! Give it a chance, you won't be disappointed. :)
Amazing food as always quick to seat us and when we finished they were fast to cash us out. Very friendly. Highly recommend
China King
I’ve been eating here for years, approximately 7 to be exact. I can’t believe I haven’t left them a review yet. This is a WELL deserved 5 star review. One of my top 3 favorite Chinese restaurants across the USA. I lived in New York, so I’m very particular about my Chinese food. This met all my expectations and some. I’ve never once had a bad experience here. The staff is always very friendly and pleasant. Food is always steaming hot. Never had to wait long either. Clean restaurant. You can tell they really take pride in their craft. You can taste it in the quality of the food. I would give more than 5 stars if I were able. Excellent service all the way around.
I visited my friends and went here to get food, and I ended up coming again for more! The serving is generous, I love the veggies, and the chicken is delicious. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I love the cute decorations on the counter. Overall a really good pick! Can't go wrong with this one. Now that I'm back in a different state I miss this place!
China Wok Restaurant
One of the best spots for Chinese out here! The rice is actually fried its really well cooked! I've been going here for a few years now and it's always on point. The Duck fried rice and the Hunan Chicken are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Awesome...My 2 favorites from China Wok! I highly recommend it! (Cash Only)
Probably one of the worse places in the Lou to get Chinese food. Their combination plates are $10. And there’s only 1 scoop of orange looking nasty dry rice with nasty crab ragoons and your choice of whatever that will be small in portion. My kids hated the food and so did I. It’s not worth the money, or time going here. And if you do like eating here I will never ask you for recommendations on where to eat!!! 💯
China Wok
Use to be my favorite. Taste going down. Got new people and is not the same. Way more expensive. Inaccurate order. Better double check before leaving. Charges extra for sauce.
This was my Grandmother’s favorite Chinese spot and now it is mine. I eat here once or twice every week and I’m always satisfied. The best egg rolls in Saint Louis!
New china
New China is a fantastic find! Tucked away in a strip mall, it might be easy to miss, but it’s definitely worth discovering. We started with the appetizer platter, which was the perfect way to sample a variety of flavors and textures. For the main course, the Chicken Lo Mein was excellent, with tender noodles and a savory sauce that was just right. The Singapore Mei Fun was also good. If you're looking for a delicious Chinese spot that’s a bit off the beaten path, New China is a great choice. Highly recommend it!
Ok first impressions are everything. They charge 2$ for tiny microwavable egg rolls. Had chicken fried rice, beef with snow peas, orange chicken with wr, kung Pao with wr, fried wings. Cooked in lard or something. Stinky Food was maybe between 1 or 2 out 5. Ratings are overblown. This is not ok shop. Maybe not order again. Not even the egg rolls. Also they didn't put soy or sweet and sour sauce in the bag. It was take out. But my bill was 70$. So terrible...
88 China
Delivery was beyond fast and the food is incredible. First time having their food and I'm very impressed. The potstickers are the best I have ever had.
I recently tried 88 China for take-out and was quite impressed with the food and service. The restaurant is located in a convenient location with ample parking, making it easy to pick up my order. The menu at 88 China is extensive, with a wide variety of Chinese dishes to choose from. I ordered a few of my favorites, including General Tso's Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and Pork Fried Rice. The portions were generous and the food was flavorful and freshly prepared. What I appreciated most about 88 China was the attentive and friendly service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations based on my preferences. My order was ready quickly, and everything was well-packaged and labeled, making it easy to take home and enjoy. Overall, I highly recommend 88 China for anyone looking for quality Chinese take-out. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is excellent. I will definitely be returning for more of their delicious dishes in the future.
No. 1 Chinese Restaurant
I recently found this place, very good food, very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them, try em, you won't be disappointed.
Food was really good at a great price! We ordered take out, and it was ready in less than 10 mins. This will be my new go-to spot for Chinese food.
China Buffet
The food was fresh and amazing even the sushi... Also they were so kind to an elderly couple turned up the TV put there show on so they could feel comfortable it was so kind and nice to see absolutely beautiful people that run this business always come always good food
Super friendly, food was hot, the one gentleman saw that I was looking for something and as soon as it was ready he came over to the table to inform me that it was ready.
Happy China Restaurant
Online order fried shrimp appetizer, menu says 12, got 12 charged for 8. Hot and sour soup was hot and very good. Everything was very good! Will be ordering again!
My husband and I have always been ordering takeout here for years. Hands down my favorite take-out American Chinese in St. Charles County. Whether it's Christmas, or just a craving, to me, it's #1. I've never got sick from them personally and food is always hot, crispy, and fresh, especially if you order Pick-Up. The one thing I really didn't like from them was their Lo Mein. They use a lot of canned bamboo shoot which has a uric smell and taste. If you're not used to that, it can ruin the experience. I hope they can improve their recipe 🙏 My go-to personal favorites are the Combo Plates. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken and requested Extra Spicy. It didn't disappoint. It was very firey and satisfying. Also ordered the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce. I crave it a ton and it's so addictingly good with the right balance of plump juicy shrimp and crisp vegetables. Not pictured are the Crab Rangoon which I adore. Their cream cheese filling is very savory and not too much on the sweet side which goes well with everything. Please support this family run business. They are doing the best that they can ❤️ Delicious.
