Great Wall
Outside of the woman who took our order being extremely nice the food was horrendous, I got general Tsos chicken and the sauce was tangy not spicy and looked and tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours and my gf got their sesame chicken and couldn't eat it as hers looked even older than mine. She had eaten a few pieces then decided not to have anymore and shortly after complained of not feeling well. This used to be a good place to eat 3+ yrs ago so we decided to try it again but we will never go back.
Very below average Chinese food. Crab Rangoon was super sweet and the wrap was so chewy we couldn't eat it. Sesame chicken was tough and the sauce was some kind of cheap BBQ sauce. Rice was overcooked and bland. Find another take out if you're looking.
Dragon Pan
Ordered the chicken and mixed veggies with white rice, and it was ready in just 10 minutes—quick and efficient! Walk-in ordering was a breeze, and the food was decent. Nothing groundbreaking, but it hit the spot for a fast, no-fuss meal. Would I write home about it? Probably not, but if you're in the mood for something simple and speedy, it's a solid option.
I was hesitant to try this place because of the reviews, however I am glad I did. We got several things and I will buy them all again, and am looking forward to trying other items from the menu. I tend to be a little on the cheap side, the cost was well worth it.
China Wok
We always order here. The food is always good and the guy is always nice. They went through a change of owners once I believe and there was a time the staff wasn’t so nice but they have great people now. I recently tried fried dumplings and it was a little burnt on one side but good. The next time I ordered it was better. I found a buffet place that has better ones but this place is our to go Chinese food.
The food was delicious. We got sweet-and-sour chicken, Szechuan chicken Shrimp egg foo young, chicken lo mein, Half fried dumplings Half steamed , and egg rolls. I prefer my dumplings to have a thinner casing, but other than that, the food was delicious.
Bei Jing Restaurant
the food i got was great, it was exactly what i was hoping for it to be besides the crab rangoons, those were stale and flavorless. the only complaint i have is that if i were to order a pint of chicken fried rice, its $6.50. if i order a pint of chicken lo mein it’s $6.95, so $0.45 difference right? so i wanted to substitute lomein instead of rice in my combination plate and they charged me $2 extra. how does that make any sense? why is it $1.55 more than if i were to just order rice or lomein by the quart? these restaurants will do anything for extra profits. luckily we won’t be returning. plus the owner has a nasty attitude when they reply to reviews.
Great food and must have while in Myrtle Beach area. The 12 minutes drive was way worth it. Food tasted amazing. Great portion too. Unbelievably value considering other options available on/around the beach area. Front desk lady was very polite and food was ready in a jiffy.
Bamboo Chinese restaurant
We got take-out for the first time. We like veggies dishes so ordered veggie lo mein and veggie fried rice. It was excellent. The fried rice was nice and moist and the lo mein done just right. Both had fresh vegetables and more mushrooms than we expected. The dishes were not salt laden. We will return. Glad to find a decent Chinese restaurant in Conway. Recommend!
Nice place, ordered out kung pao chicken with rice and egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken. Crab Rangoon, chicken lo mein, szechuan beef all good. Didn't feel like cooking ordered out. Fast online service. 2 thumbs up.
China Kitchen
Most recent two take out experiences have been great. Very nice staff. Good food at affordable prices.
Ordered the teriyaki chicken appetizer, vegetable fried rice (no mushrooms), steamed chicken & vegetables. The app was rubbery & tasted charred The fried rice was flavorless The steamed chicken with vegetables had an odd scent and also had a rubbery texture. Lastly, the visual of that place was a direct representation of what sort of quality to expect. It's only pickup, there's a 2020 covid plexiglass barrier with a cardboard bottom to block a near empty dining room that looks like a vacuum hadn't been used since covid. Looking through I could see all the chairs stacked and stuff just stored against the walls.
Flaming Chinese Buffet
$15.99/adult dinner Food was only hot when staff refilled. Lucky, they do re-stock quite often. Plenty of food selections including hibachi and pho soup station. Our server was also friendly.
It was my first time visiting this place, and I liked the food. The variety of dishes was sufficient for a good meal. However, I found the service somewhat unpleasant because a tall waitress blatantly demanded a tip and, in the end, never brought me my change. This fundamentally upset me, so I approached her myself to remind her. She reluctantly handed me my change with a very unpleasant expression on her face. This left a bad impression, making it feel like tipping was my obligation rather than my personal choice. There is a large parking lot and a hotel nearby. The location is very convenient, and there is a shopping plaza not far from here. So, if you have time, you can stop by this place.
Southern China
My usual go to Chinese restaurant was closed. A friend told me this place had good food so we decided to go there. I now question their judgment. Although there are a few small tables this place is definitely more suited for takeout than dining in. The woman at the counter was very cold and unfriendly. The food was cooked very quickly however. We took the food home. The egg rolls were adequate. It went downhill from there. The hot and sour soup was neither. The crab rangoon was not crisp. The chicken lo mein was somewhat greasy although the noodles were a pleasant Al dente. I did have to search very hard to find any chicken in it however. Overall this is typical Americanized Chinese food with little flavor. If you're searching for authentic Chinese food there are far better options some very close. I was very surprised by some of the reviews that said this is authentic Chinese food. If they're experiencince in Chinese dining is limited to take out Chinese food from strip malls then that may be authentic to them. The online reviews seem to be hit or miss. I definitely hid it on a miss day. I will not be returning and I certainly will not miss it.
Super good Chinese food! We ordered jumbo garlic shrimp and usually the shrimp are small and you have to hunt for the three in the dish. These shrimp were huge and there were a lot of them. Fried rice was simple and so good. Highly recommended to try. Definitely our go to place from now on.
Taste of China
We are in town for a few weeks and this was the 1st place we tried. Food was fantastic and the portions are huge. Definitely enough for 2 full meals. I got the General Tso combo with fried rice and an egg roll. Probably the best General Tso I’ve ever had. It wasn’t just hard lumps of fried batter and a tiny piece of chicken. It was juicy and delicious! Boyfriend got the Garlic Chicken combo and he really enjoyed it. Egg rolls were on point!
Ostensibly your standard Chinese takeout restaurant. Expect the same fare found in most other such establishments. But they are anything but ordinary. It's the best Chinese takeout I've had in years. I have no complaints. Usually I order double meat, but I don't have to here. The food is delicious and they definitely give you your money's worth. The service is fantastic too. Everybody is polite and helpful. Things can get a bit confused when the place is busy, but I've worked enough for service jobs to know how that is. I've also worked enough for service jobs to know the flaws to look for and I see none of them. Again, I have no complaints. This is my ONLY Chinese takeout place now.
Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant
First and last time. I saw a lot of great reviews so we figured to try them out. Ordered 2 chicken lo meins and dumplings. We opened the containers for the lo mein and immediately saw hair in it. No thanks.
It's primarily take-out. The food is fantastic. Portions are generous. Prices are great. The food is cooked fresh to order. The kitchen is clean too. You can't go wrong. Their service is also fantastic! They are always polite and courteous and are fast to prepare and package. They have no issues at all with special requests like "no vegetables."
China Q II
I recently moved from Vegas and this has been my go to spot. The food and service is always high quality. Every time I’ve ordered, I’ve waited no more than 20 minutes which to me is very convenient for quality food. I haven’t walked through the front door without being greeted in a welcoming way so I won’t be ordering elsewhere for sure.
I just moved to Concord and the kindest Ms. Bing greeted me, let me know they had additional vegetarian options not on the menu, and she also included a special vegetarian treat. Incredibly quick service, and the food is absolutely phenomenal! Cannot recommend more highly. Will definitely become a regular!
China Garden Restaurant
We are regulars, usually getting takeout at least once a month until a few months ago. The fried rice and lo mein have had a burnt/smoky flavor which is very overpowering making it taste terrible. We gave it a break for a few months and tried again tonight and thw food has that same smokiness to it. The egg rolls get smaller and smaller and the crab rangoon was chewy. We will not be eating from here again for a while, very unfortunate as it’s been so good and consistent for years up until recently.
I haven't tried this place in many years until yesterday. I got the sesame chicken and chicken lo mein combos with fried rice and egg rolls. The only thing truly tasty was the chicken lo mein. Egg rolls are not stuffed with much and over cooked. The fried rice wasn't fried rice, mushy... eat at your own risk. Service was fine and quick. It will be another few years before I try it again.
