Chinese Restaurant

I just want to start out with saying that although the food was not fantastic the person answering the phone was very kind. I asked for something that was not typically on the menu and they were able to accommodate and make that for me. I really really appreciate that and I could give this a 3.75 I would. My rating is slowly based on the food although for service they deserve 5 stars. The rice was weird. Idk how to describe it. I got what I needed done for wanting Chinese food and that's what's important. I would not come back here again though only because I've had much better food. But I will say that after checking out a bunch of places in the area this is the best Chinese food place in State College

The Szechuan tofu was surprisingly delicious. The lady was very friendly too. The fried rice was not so flavorful, so be sure to ask for sauces for takeaways.

The food is delicious! We had egg rolls, pepper steak, pork low mein, and pork fried rice. The service is excellent. Thank you!

We have tried fish chilli soup, fish chilli hotpot and chicken and they are all really tasty!

Thank you to the wonderful owner who made accommodations with my order. That gesture was greatly noticed and appreciated. My food was very good. Hope to order again when traveling back to this area😊!

Honestly the best Chinese food in the area. Food is always ready on time and pick up is fast. No done in options since covid, but honestly they get so much business for take out i don't blame them

Difficult to find due to there being no big sign out front. The food is awesome and you get a lot. I ordered the spicy garlic chicken and was very satisfied. A great pre or post workout mass gaining meal! I did text in a sign in the photo section..... maybe they should have one painted on to avoid the code rules. Paint can't blow off of a building. Anyway the Sun always Shines at JAPAN SUN....find this diamond in the rough!

The spring rolls and lo mein were delicious. The spicy garlic chicken had a little spice, but not a ton of flavor.

Six words: best Chinese food in the area. We got the general tso’s chicken and the lo mein. The chicken was to die for! The lo mein was excellent. They were nice and willing to answer a lot of questions.

Delicious 😋 Egg roll was hot had to split to let it cool. Below is Sesame Chicken, Dragon Pheonix Chicken and Shrimp Combo on a Bed of white rice.

Ate here for the first time the other week and it was good! Definitely will go back and highly recommend.

Their ordering webpage shows dine in, but after driving a long ways to get there they don't let you inside. Restaurants are for eating the food there, if i wanted fast food to eat in my car i would've went to a fast food place.

Pretty good buffet, with plenty of choices, even sushi and one guy cooking hibachi for those wanting that. Waitress good, but need to learn basic English to communicate better. Extra napkins a plus. Only diet Pepsi, not enough diet drink variety. Had unsweetened tea. Not sure of price, someone paid it forward with my bill, so free for me.

Great food and a lot to choose from! Everything from American food to Chinese food. A ton of different options. If you do come in with a group of 8 or more they will charge you 12% for a tip. I don't agree with this because a tip is based off the performance of the waiter. Even though you should always tip your waiter or waitress unless if they are rude to customers they don't deserve a tip Posting this all over the front of the restaurant kind of makes the place look bad. Maybe pay your employees more instead of making the people pay them. Other than that it's a good place to eat.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE... I asked for the sweet honey walnut chicken... I asked for light sauce and sauce on the side... As they put way too much sauce on top... It is cold sauce to begin with because it's supposed to be cold on top of hot chicken... How would you like to have a bucket full of cold sauce on your hot chicken? I called and asked him about it and the woman got on the phone and she just kind of gaslit me to eat it pretty much.. I will never be ordering from them again and I spend good money there...until this As I didn't eat the last chicken because it had way too much sauce on it... This is just not good for texture and it tastes horrible... She was not willing to listen to me she just kept talking over me and said it's okay it's okay but it's not it is absolutely horrible and disgusting and my kids will not eat it and I'm not eating it and I threw it out and I spent $30... You can't argue with someone that's not willing to listen I wasn't trying to argue but I was just trying to tell her can she fix it and she didn't give me a chance to say that... So all I said was okay and that's it... Then she hung up.

Your delivery driver got an attitude at the door demanding a tip then mumbled something in another language will never order from there again. Here is a tip don't harass your customers........there are other places in Altoona to order from. Will never order from there again

Other places in town are OK but I prefer Lychee over them all. The service and people are amazing. They deliver, which is always a blessing for days I don't want to drive out. The food comes fresh and hot! They do their best to honor requests or special requirements and not overcharge an add-on. Prices are comparable to others in the area. Need I say more? Every box is check on my list of what I'd consider good eats all around.

This tonight was absolutely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had and I have had many many different places across the United States. I’m not sure how they are still in business. I should’ve taken the 40+ dollars and thrown it over the side of the hill. It was almost like a joke. It was so bad. I’ve never tasted food that was so mushy and tasted like someone ran hot water over all of it with absolutely no taste.

I had several bad experiences here, like not even receiving the right food, in the past. I decided to give them one more try, and I really wanted Chinese for my birthday dinner..... As per the attached photos, I requested no onions or mushrooms in anything. I dislike mushrooms and I'm very allergic to onions. It's like they went out of their way to put an entire onion in my food. I had to switch dinners with my husband as a result. Neither of us were happy. The wonton soup was disgusting, couldn't even eat that because it was rank and old. I should have just set $25 on fire.

They messed up my order. When I called to see about the mix up. They said it left 10mins ago. Then heard the one guy say to the other guy. You are taking to long. An I gave them 20 mins to fix the. When it was one a order of pepper steak

This is an American-Chinese food takeout place. The food was not bad, and the price was reasonably good for the portion. If you happen to speak Chinese, the owner will be very happy to have a chat with you and is super friendly! The store itself is a basic takeout counter with a few tables to sit at.

Food is very fresh and delicious. Our 1st time ordering take out from here. Good portions and good prices. Definitely will be returning. Thank you.

In my very own opinion this place is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Blair county! I absolutely love their food and they’re always very pleasant people to interact with.

(**CASH ONLY**) We started with the Fried Potstickers, they were so good. They were not stingy when filling them. I got the Szechuan Chicken Special Combo Platter, it came with ham fried rice and a pork egg roll. I was impressed with the egg roll. Probably one of the best I've had. The Szechuan wasn't really spicy at all. It still tasted great, and the chicken was super tender. My wife got the beef & broccoli, and some pork lo mein. She really liked it. It was okay in my opinion. Overall definitely going back, hopefully I can find something spicy.
