Canton Palace
The orange chicken and sesame chicken were really good, as were the green beans. I didn’t realize the teriyaki beef would be breaded, and I think it would be better simply grilled with sauce instead of battered. We didn’t care for the crab Rangoon and didn’t think the fried rice was worth the up-charge over the plain rice that comes with entrees. While you do get a bigger container, it appears to simply be rice with soy sauce and a little egg. I felt the portions were fair for the price and overall we’d be willing to eat here again and give it another shot. Perhaps my rating would change after a second dining experience, but for now I rate it a solid average.
Our new favorite Chinese restaurant, the atmosphere is nice. The food is really good my kids really liked it I was surprised because they are super picky they loved the noodles, and rice. You also get a lot of food.
Osaka Hibachi Japanese Steak
Hibachi grills do not disappoint. Dinner with a show. The chef was very entertaining and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is a bit outdated and could use a facelift but dont let that discourage you from coming. Will definitely be back.
This place was amazing! Delicious food, great atmosphere for all ages. The staff are very friendly and courteous. They were able to accommodate 36 of us💙
Bamboo Express
Absolutely incredible food, I had sesame chicken, lo mein (which was cooked fresh!!!), egg drop soup, and fried dumplings. Food was all amazing!
Stopped by and found this fast food restaurant, the small restaurant is very clean, the staff is very nice, she recommended the Orange chicken and honey chicken, it was delicious, will definitely come again!
Tang Street
They serve traditional Chinese dishes and American-Chinese dishes to cater to those who are not familiar to the culture. We usually order the eggplant with shredded pork, mapo-tofu, the spiced lamb, and the basil fish. It's wonderful. My daughter loves her sweet'n'sour chicken and combination fried rice.
Won ton soup broth is excellent. Pepper beef was very good, especially the sauce. Lemon chicken was nice and crispy. Liked the pork fried rice allot. Egg roll was fresh cooked and tasty. Over all very good Chinese food.
Beyond Pho Asian Cusine
Well, this place was more of a surprise than the first impressions lead on. The moment we walked in, there was no one servicing any table and the place looked like they were closed and someone forgot to lock the door. Then out comes a dude, and as excited as he is to see us and others who also arrived, he had us all seated. Insisted on the service. Once our orders were taken and drinks delivered, the food came out promptly and still steaming hot. As for that food? Amazing. The Chicken Cashew was a huge winner. And for 12 bucks, this place was giving you so much more food than any nearby stores. Definitely worth a try.
Everything was perfect! Hospitality was welcoming. I ordered pad see ew gai (wide barbecued noodles) with chicken and egg. Traditionally it is served with Thai broccoli but I opted for carrots as my preference. She was glad to accommodate without hesitation. I asked for medium spicy and it was perfect. Lately I've noticed some of my other favorite Thai restaurants have no regard for being too hot or too mild. So, I really appreciated them being spot on with the mediums by spice! Also the carrots we're perfectly tender and not too crunchy. 10/10 I highly recommend giving this establishment a try as I can see that they deserve a chance making your thai belly happy!!
Island Wok
My first time in Staten Island and my kids were in the mood for some Chinese food. I have one picky eater and one who’s pallet is wild like mine so this place was perfect! My picky eater approved. Food was fresh and light. This place is family friendly and felt like home. The food tasted fresh and not heavy on the stomach. It’s kosher and doesn’t contain MSG! Super tasty items on their menu we had the red dragon sushi roll and avocado roll the chicken fried dumplings egg rolls and house special fried rice. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I recommend this place to Anyone.
Food was nasty they kept sneezing and sneezed in my food! This made me and my daughter leave because they refused to give a refund
Like Cafe
The menu has a lot of choices. I picked the breakfast specials #D that is recommended by many people, and I like it. The Singapore fried noodle which is highly recommended did not disappoint me. The egg drop beef chow fun is okay, not as good as the regular beef chow fun. Overall it’s a good Hong Kong style cafe in Brooklyn with many items in the menu that I will try out next time.
There's another piece of sandwich with much less filling. And the meat in the noodles is like limited edition, there are only three tiny pieces. We paid almost 20 for two meals and the portion shrunk a lot, the lemon tea was in regular cup size, now it shrunk to a coffee cup size. I think this is deceitful.
Steam Box Rice Roll
This is my favorite go to spot , I love how to rice rolls turned out with egg pork and corns. I still want to try something more next time ! Definitely coming back for this
My friend said she was going to take us to buy THE BEST STEAM RICE ROLLS IN NEW YORK, the same vote among her local friends in Brooklyn. So instead of waiting in the car for her to order, I decided to check it out inside. The restaurant itself is pretty clean with limited seatings (2x4=8) since it is mostly for takeouts. Not sure if they provide delivery service but it’s only a phone call away to find out. When I stood by the cashier, I peeked at the kitchen and saw two stone mills, which are used to freshly grind rice batter to make the steam rice rolls daily. So I asked the cashier to take some pictures of the stone mills for me. When I ate the rice rolls at my friend’s house, they did taste full of fresh rice flavor that you can not easily get nowadays. My friend and her family all loved them and they order them very often. If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a try, you may come to the same conclusion as my friend, her family and her friends. In my opinion, the rice rolls did taste very authentic and so far are the best I have tried in the US. Two thumbs up!
China King
Disappointed and disgusting. I literally told the owner that the shrimp still had the poop inside and she said that they don’t clean . It’s disgusting. Can’t believe this is allowed . If I get sick I will sue!
Terrible, absolutely the worst chicken I’ve ever even seen I didn’t even bite into it, awful place with no air and when was the last time a health inspector stopped by this place??!! Horrible quality save yourself the money and go to ChopstiX.
Noodle Queen
They have the best breakfast specials. I always get the Combo E which is fried noodles and a bowl of congee, and tea or coffee for $7. The congee is packed with meat and flavor and the noodles are tasty as well. The service is very good here and the place is clean. The bathroom is huge and well-kept. I always stop by when I am in the mood for rich and creamy congee. The portions are huge and the staff are nice.
This is a good place for lunch and their breakfast combo seems like a good deal. Pros: The Chicken Steak Rice was the best dish out of everything we ordered. So delicious and filling. All the rice dishes were awesome portions for the price. The beef with Chinese vegetables (just yao choi) was also really good. The beef was super tender. The Beef Chow Fun was also good! Cons: I missed breakfast so I got ham & egg with macaroni alone. The accidentally gave me spam, and the entire thing was super bland. It’s like there was no salt at all. We also ordered the beef stew over rice and when it came, it was all beef tripe with ONE piece of beef.. when we asked they said that it’s mixed with beef tripe and the meat but they didn’t have that much meat that day. Why wouldn’t they let us know that before we ordered?? No utensils or water given to us unless we asked. Not great service.
Orchid Dynasty
Wow. This is THE most live and fresh I have ever seen. And you just have to see for yourself when it is steamed and ready to serve. The freshness keeps bombarding my taste buds. You just have to act quick before your companions confiscate your share. They sure showed no mercy. Bon Appétit!
Food here is amazing and so inexpensive! I drive here from Staten Island all the time for lunch & dinner.
No.1 Restaurant
Best Chinese and only Here in Danville! Ha Their crab ragoons are delicious! Small dining room and no hot tea!I like to sip on Chinese tea before my meal! Service is good! These folks have been around here for years and are well loved! Their food is some of the best! They put some of the red sweet sauce in with my egg roll and that was best I've ever tasted! Right on 36 tucked in the middle of tiny strip mall
With all the traditional Chinese carryout joints closing around me in nearby Pittsboro, I was desperate to find the closest place to me for carryout. And to be clear, I want a place that has lunch specials, and combos where you get fried rice and an egg roll, potstickers, and good portions. This is the place. A couple tables inside, boxes of soy sauce, hot mustard, and sweet & sour in the lobby, super friendly and present owners - that's EXACTLY what I want to see when I grab Chinese carryout.
