Hong Kong Dim Sum Intro
Hong Kong Dim Sum is a Chinese restaurant located at 777 60th St, Brooklyn, NY 11220, USA. While the name suggests dim sum, customer reviews indicate that their menu primarily focuses on rice noodles and congee. The restaurant is noted for offering a quick, cheap, and delicious dining option in the area.
According to customer feedback, the pork rice noodles are highly recommended and considered the best option among the rice noodle varieties offered. Conversely, the shrimp and beef rice noodles are not as favored. Customers have mentioned that the portions are generous, with one reviewer noting that ordering two noodles (pork and shrimp) resulted in having to take a full noodle's worth home. The rice noodles are described as perfectly done, salty, soft, and containing a substantial amount of meat, especially for the price.
The environment of Hong Kong Dim Sum is characterized by limited seating room, suggesting it might be more geared towards a quick bite or takeout. However, its strengths lie in its efficient service, affordable prices, and tasty food, particularly the pork rice noodles. If you are looking for a no-frills Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn specializing in flavorful and generously portioned rice noodles and congee, Hong Kong Dim Sum is worth considering. Had three types of rice noodles. Pork is the best option, would not recommend the shrimp or beef.
They don’t have a huge menu - seems to be just rice noodles and congee. I had one pork and one shrimp noodle - honestly too much! I took a full noodle’s worth home. Perfectly done, salty soft and lots of meat, especially for the price! Not a lot of sitting room, but quick, cheap, and delicious.
The rice noodles and congee is very delicious without a question. This is not as good looking as Dim Sum in big restaurant, but it is authentic original rice noodle. One of my favorite breakfast. The only downside is the owner is not very nice. She may give you wrong order or even miss it. It happened on me several times. And you will never hear a sorry from her. It really make me up set. For food: 5 stars. For service: 0
I live a few blocks away and this is one of the best spots for breakfast. Thousand Egg Congee and Rice Noodle 👅👅👅 oh yeah. This spot is for locals only. You won’t understand the nature of the business if you’re not familiar with the culture 😜😜
not even kidding, best rice rolls I’ve ever had. wouldn’t have it any other way.. pure satisfaction to my taste buds. also I went around 6pm and they were still open so, not sure whats up with why googlemaps says 4:30
