Customer Reviews
I normally go for lunch special menu because the price is just perfect for daily meal. My favorite dish here is the fish fillet spicy soup (not the lunch special). Everyone who tried it liked it so far! Only thing you would need to be aware of is to check the take out order because sometimes they mixed up when it’s busy and do the wrong order.
The pork soup dumplings here are delicious and my favorite dish to order. But many dishes here are good. Fried rice is pretty good, lo mein is pretty good (though not my favorite). Really loved the Gui Zhou spicy chicken. Beef with green peppers is very tasty. The king pao chicken was also good. The soup dumplings are smaller and not as good when you deliver, but that's a necessity because the real ones wouldn't stay in tact on the trip. They're still good delivered but I highly recommend dining in to have them.
Really friendly, quick, and great local Szechuan spot. While not on Szechuan row, this place makes several dishes really well and even makes it extra mala for me when I ask. I order here usually at least once, sometimes twice a week. I really like: -ChongQing Spicy Chicken -Parched Chicken with Three Pepper -Gui Zhou spicy Chicken -Spicy Whole Green Pepper I am less of a fan of their cucumber salad and their mapo tofu, but plenty of other dishes to keep me happy. If you like spice, I recommend you skip the American Chinese Food and try something off the special dishes menu, which is primarily Sichuan style food.
I can see why this place has soo many bad reviews. And unsatisfied customer was leaving and complaining as I walked in, but that holds no bearing on my rating. The food was pretty good but I hate when restaurants rip me off, and the large won-ton soup I ordered only had 4 tiny wontons in it!! I've never had a Chinese restaurant give me 90% liquid and 10% everything else!! I won't be going back.
I placed an order of broccoli and (garlic sauce). I received broccoli with hot peppers (no garlic sauce). I kindly asked for a refund since I have a dietary restriction and cannot eat spicy food. They refused to provide me a refund and wanted me to choose another item from the menu. As a vegetarian, my options were limited. But the fact is that I shouldn't have to choose something else i don't want to eat just because they want to keep my funds after deceiving me, claiming they could meet my request. I don't plan on returning of course. I definitely do not recommend this place. Update: I noticed that the restaurant replied with lies. Yes i noticed what the the menu said, which is why i called directly asking if instead of a spicy sauce, i could get it with garlic sauce instead and i was told yes. I never ate the food as stated by the restaurant. Don't blame customers because your staff is negligent. Simply train them better.
