Golden Palace Intro

Golden Palace is a Chinese restaurant located at 41-20 Delong St, Flushing, NY 11355. They can be contacted at (718) 886-9588 or +1 718-886-9588.

Based on customer reviews, Golden Palace offers a dining experience with both positive and negative aspects. One customer, who attended a large family dinner with pre-ordered food, found the dishes to be either deep-fried or bland, and suspected the use of significant amounts of MSG. However, another customer noted that the food was on the "light side," suggesting a potentially healthier approach to Chinese cuisine.

Service at Golden Palace received mixed reviews. While generally considered "ok," some customers felt that the staff could have been more attentive. One customer reported needing to seek out napkins from another table due to a lack of attention from the service staff.

The restaurant's environment is described as "nice and clean," although one reviewer did not inspect the restrooms. A significant advantage in New York City is the restaurant's private parking lot. To conclude the meal, Golden Palace offers complimentary fruit and red bean soup. The fruit was described as "super fresh and sweet," while the red bean soup was considered "a bit too sweet" by one reviewer.

In summary, Golden Palace provides a clean and spacious setting with the added benefit of parking. The food quality and service have received mixed reviews, with some finding the dishes satisfactory and others experiencing blandness or inattentive service. The complimentary fruit and dessert are a nice touch, though the sweetness of the red bean soup may not appeal to all palates.

The food was ok. I was at a large family dinner, so everything was pre-ordered for us. But the food we got was either deep fried or bland. I also felt pretty thirsty afterwards so they probably added a lot of msg.

Food was on the light side which, to me, means they are on the healthier side. Service is ok, they could have check on us a little more. We had to go to the next table to get more paper napkins because we couldn't get anyone's attention. The place is nice and clean but I did not check out the restroom. They do have a nice little parking lot which is a bonus in NY. They also gave us a nice plate of fruit and some red bean soup for desert. The fruits were super fresh and sweet but the red bean soup was a bit too sweet, in my opinion.

HIDDEN GEM! Nothing bad to review, just love everything about this restaurant. Came back a few time for dinner and love this Chinese restaurant. Let’s start from the waitstaff! Thank you all for your amazing service! Attentive and professional! Food was amazing and on point. A must try is their glutenous lobster fried rice, jellyfish starter, garlic chicken and lobster ginger and scallion!! And that have amazing selection of wines. Price was reasonable and the restaurant is really clean for a Chinese Restaurant. Looking forward to come back soon.

Been here about three times, food is fantastic, service is great, presentation is a plus. Staff regularly give you clean plates. We had a group of about 15 people, so all portions were huge. My favorite was the crab, it's just perfect. Plenty of parking outside.

Fantastic and Authentic Cantonese Family style dining. Seafood is their specialty as they offer standard dishes to premium eats. Ask about the dungeness crab - they are huge and it's cost depends on the weight. The fried oysters were really delicious as was the Peking Duck. Too much to name but you get the idea.
