Based on customer reviews, experiences appear to be mixed. One customer reported a very negative experience with a takeout order of stir-fried rice with chicken, describing it as a small portion of leftover and unappetizing food with kimchi, for which they felt the price of $14.95 was unreasonable. They also mentioned a lack of response or apology from the restaurant when they brought it to their attention.

As a Chinese restaurant, Ewha Won 이화원 offers a menu that likely includes popular Chinese dishes, possibly with a Korean twist as suggested by the positive mention of ganjajang (a Korean-Chinese noodle dish) and tangsuyuk (Korean sweet and sour pork). Potential local users are advised to consider the varying customer experiences when deciding to dine in or order takeout from this establishment.

Currently, no specific details about the restaurant's ambiance, additional services, special features, or ongoing promotions are available in the provided information. The ganjajang was so good, and the tangsuyuk was amazing too. I wanted to mix some rice into the leftover sauce, but I held back.

The workers are very rude and just want your money. My dad tried to swipe his card to pay and swiped incorrectly so the older lady who worked the register literally knocked my dads hand which made him drop his card to the floor and she didn’t say a word or acknowledge it. In Korean culture that’s a very shitty thing to do to someone you don’t know. But she didn’t care because age is more important. The only reason this place is still in business even with shitty food and service is because Koreans love black bean noodles and this is the only place in the area to get them. And it tastes bad anyway

Went here on a whim with my boyfriend and we got the shredded beef with chives and steamed bun and we were extremely disappointed. The food tasted great but there was literally no meat in our dish and it’s a $26 meal. When I asked the waiter about it he didn’t say much and the other waiter (older lady) said that the vegetable and buns were expensive. They also only gave us 5 small buns for soo much vegetable. It’s just unfortunate. We really wanted to like it but they didn’t do anything to address our complaint.

This is literally a gem and anyone that leaves a negative review just hasn’t gotten the right food. This place is absolutely a gem! If you haven’t been recently, it’s an amazing place to have Korean-Chinese fusion. I will be back!!!
