Finally tried Chef’s Special and it was as great as I had heard. The cocktails were really good and very unique, and the food was delicious. The ambiance and decor of the place was really cool and seemed like a fun spot to spend an entire night drinking and eating at. The rolled noodles were great and the short rib in there was delicious. Both the pork & shrimp egg rolls were delicious as well but the sauces really stole the show. A mix of sweet, spicy, and savory between the mustard wasabi, sweet n sour and chili oil. The wontons were really good as well with a great level of heat. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Overall amazing, the cashew shrimp was one of the best things I’ve had in Chicago. The waiter was super helpful and had great recommendations. The ambiance is really fun, we got a booth seat for two and would definitely recommend. I’d say the dry fried green beans were slightly over seasoned / too saucy and the Dan Dan noodles as a vegetarian option could use tofu or a protein because they felt a little flat without the meat. Finally the crab rangoons were amazing had great seasoning, just wish they could have a little more filling, would order again in a heart beat. It was an amazing amazing meal. Additionally, the portion sizes are extremely fair and felt that everything Provided amazing value!

Best American Chinese Food spot I’ve been to in Chicago! We went for a birthday party and made a reservation ahead of time. The environment was very cute, LGBTQ friendly, and date night or birthday vibes! We enjoyed all the food and the music and service! Food was quick and good atmosphere. My favorite foods were the crab Rangoon’s, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour shrimp, Dan Dan, and wontons. The ube custard dessert was great along with the peach dessert. The cocktails were all unique and yummy I got the Lemon-glass Gimlets and the Mini Skirt. We ate all the food before we could get a proper picture 😅. Great service from our server Aerin 💖. Will eat here when I come back to Chicago!

Heard and passed this restaurant several times that yesterday 8/27 was finally the day. First and foremost the only thing that left a sour taste in my mouth was the rude host. Asked for the wait time and they replied with 15-25mins for a 2 top and I left my number and waited outside. Once I noticed 55mins had already gone by I stepped inside to no longer see that host and a gentleman was now there who was helpful and we immediately sat at the bar as they had openings. I realized if I had not walked in to see how the table was coming along I would have never been informed. If we skip the part where I waited an hour, everything was amazing including the great hospitality from the bar. I actually can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
