Bites of Xian 38 西府小吃

I was quite surprised by this restaurant as the food quality and flavor is very close to the food I get in China. The pork and chive dumplings and the stewed beef noddle soup are great, but the crispy pork burger is my favorite.

I gotta say, I think I'm a huge fan! The beef noodle soup was the perfect amount of spiciness, and the portions of meat were generous. The vegetarian dumplings were such a cute aqua color! Service was insistent on helping us clean up. Love this place and would definitely come back when looking for Xi'an food!

The lamb crispy burger was spicier than I was expecting, but the heat doesn't linger for more than a few minutes. The diao diao noodles were great, and you can see them making the noodles there. Another plus was that they open an hour earlier than other Chinese restaurants in the area. If you can't speak Chinese, just point at the printed menu item.

Food is okay, I really didn’t like, I don’t know if the person who made it actually tasted it. The atmosphere please don’t let me star. The stuff can’t even calm down their clients, and I saw how one girl was harassing us, I will never go back, and if you want to be harassed by crazy clients you should go there, if you want to eat peacefully go somewhere else. (Note for myself: Do not visit this place again.)

I think this place is way higher than a 4.4. Ordered the N1 with hand ripped noodles. Perfect Q (chewy) texture. Generous chunks of slow cooked beef. Savory soup with a light touch of mala. Bok Choy so I can tell myself I had a balanced meal. Huge portion, cheap prices. Quick counter service. I would have liked having a bigger soup spoon but otherwise this was perfect.
