This place reminds me of old school Chinese restaurants! There was a pot of tea! The food was fresh filling and delicious! We got a combo app of boneless ribs, wings, crab rangoon, and an egg roll. We also got a small beef teriyaki, general gao's chicken and pork chow mein. Everything was great! We stuffed ourselves! We took the leftovers home to my friends husband! He loved it to! We shared a scorpion bowl, too. The bill was 60 bucks. There's no way you could go wrong!

Just your everyday average looking place with great food, drinks and service. Served quickly and food comes out very hot, fried appetizers are hot, crispy and not over fried or dried out. Some of the best chicken wings I've had. Haven't been disappointed yet.

The best Asian food in the area. The service is always excellent, and the food is consistently delicious with a great variety to choose from. I highly recommend giving this lovely place a try.

Upscale but casual Chinese and Japanese restaurant located on route 16 in Wellesley at the Newton line. The staff is friendly and the decor is welcoming. I had oolong tea to drink. The presentation was pretty cool. They have a pretty extensive menu. I had items from the Chinese side for this visit. I started with the hot and sour soup. This was dark with a nice rich flavor that left a little kick on your lips. Plenty of fillers like golden needle, wood ear mushrooms, mushrooms, tofu and a few others. It tasted like they finish it with sesame oil and Chinese basil. The baby back ribs are the smaller ones, however these are perfect. They have a thin crisp around them with a juicy, tender and flavorful layer of meat that is absolutely delicious. One of the things that sets Jin's aside is the offer soup dumplings. These have a nice ball of pork and spices as well as soup inside the dumplings. I really love these. The last item I had was the prawns with minced beef and lobster sauce. This is a very old school of making this dish. The flavors were delicious and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Overall had a great experience here. I very much recommend their food!

This place has it all: Great food, great service, and even parking! It’s very hard finding authentic Chinese food in Newton, but this place offers all the classic Chinese dishes. I’ve tried just about all of their appetizers- not a single dish I did not like. Portion sizes are great as well, so you can share with friends and family. Such a cozy environment I highly recommend! Ps. Don’t forget to crack open the fortune cookies😉

Came with a coworker for a going away party. Incredibly friendly staff!! Bartender is funny and drinks are solid. Food was great and fresh tasting. Host Lily sat us right away and was quick to recommend her favorite dishes to try.

Was in total shock. We ordered food to be delivered. At the time it wasn't a good time in my home. When I got shocked was the delivery driver looked at the receipt and looked at me and said you no give tip? Like really? You just asked for your tip? You see people are upset and you have the balls to ask for a tip. I won't ever order from there again.

As others have said this location is definitely under new management and it is for the worse, you can pretty much disregard any reviews from under the previous owners older than at least March of 2025. Phone orders now seem to go through a call center with customer service agents that aren't even familiar with the menu, I got tired of waiting for the woman I got to take her third pause to still not figure out what a D15 was and just hung up and went to make my order in person. The food will likely vary with what you get but from my experience has taken a drastic hit in quality. The fried rice was bland and pale as if it had never even seen heat of an actual stove, the crab rangoon was practically just pure cream cheese, the boneless spareribs which would usually be very well cooked with a good char were limp and soggy and the sad excuse for an eggroll (usually my favorite) at first just seemed far smaller and soggier but after taking a bite doesn't even have the same fillings. In all honesty the quality was closer to what you'd expect from the frozen food section of Walmart than from even take out Chinese.

I enjoy their lunch takeout a lot. A friend from work and I have their lunch takeout out specials frequently and highly enjoy them. The sesame chicken is so tasty. Large portions and friendly staff always keep us coming back. I recommend having lunch or dinner here for sure.

We're on the hunt for a local hotpot spot so we don't have to trek all the way to Boston, and we found this place with some 🔥🔥🔥 food! The quality of the meat and seafood is on point, and they have a great menu selection that caters to everyone's taste. 🤤😋 To top it all off, the bill came to half of what we usually pay! #LocalEats #HotpotHeaven #FoodieParadise

Love this place. Food options is similar to the other local joints. The owners are friendly and the food servings are massive. I got all this for less than $6, the soda adds $1.25, so less than $8. 10/10 would recommend. I get white rice, rice noodle and orange chicken 10/10

I came by on Saturday and they had no food and the little bit they had was disgusting. They had 8 empty trays and the only food out was honey chicken and the sides. I got the lo mein and it tasted like boiled noodles. The honey chicken I had to spit out. They were clearly under cooking because they had no food. He had the audacity to scream at me “what you want” 3 times, as if there wasn’t only 2 dishes available. Golden scoop is across the street. The food and service and cleaning is way nicer. I’ve been getting dollar scoop for my entire life and they just can’t make decent food anymore. The other locations are still good, but this is my second time coming and it was absolutely depressing. We used to get this catered for celebrations and now the food is indelible.

Wok n Tok is a great place for good, late-night, Asian fare. I’ve been before and find the prices to be fair for the portion size, too. The service for my order was friendly and I was grateful to not have to do fast food after arriving in town from an evening flight. I definitely recommend for take-out!

I had dinner here yesterday. Their food is top notch. My favorite dish is the Singapore Rice Noodles. I had never had it before and it was recommended to me by the owner. If you like curry, noodles, and Chinese food. Go here! I promise it is not only delicious, but the one plate you order will feed you and two other people. It is the most food I have ever seen in a single plate. It is filled with delicious chicken, shrimp, and pork. You must try it. You will not be disappointed.

I have always had great consistent food here. Small modern, casual Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Staff is always very friendly and you get service with a smile. I always start with their Hot and Sour Soup! They use a thick old school recipe that hits you with complex flavors, plenty of fillers like wood ear mushrooms, golden needle, pork and all the good stuff. It finishes with a strong kick that will clear your sinuses. Their Spareribs on the Bone are some of the best around. Definitely one of my favorites. Their Shrimp with Lobster Sauce has a delicious flavor to it. It has a little sweetness complemented with black beans. They switched to the smaller shrimp. I actually like this because you get one in every bite. Like a famous chocolate chip cookie. The shrimp are cooked perfectly are not rubbery at all. Love this dish! Wings are crispy and juicy! Beef Teriyaki is delicious! The Egg Rolls have a really nice flavor. The ingredients could be chopped a little finer. Their sushi is delicious! Today my daughter had a Sushi Taco! Very yummy! There's also conveniently an ice cream shop right next door if you have any room left. Highly recommend eating here!

We were bored/unhappy with the Chinese restaurants closer to home and the almost hidden village of Islington isn't that far away, you just have to look for it. The food was a cut above most places. The hot and sour soup was okay and the miso soup was good (helps if you like the generous amount of seaweed). The crisp-fried angel hair was first rate. The chicken with cashews had a lot of vegetables, mostly sweet peppers, alongside sliced (not diced) chicken and a modest amount of nuts, in a brown sauce. It was excellent both in the restaurant and a day later as a leftover. Thumbs up.

Very solid choice, esp for lunch. Good portion size, good value, and good taste. Not “authentic” Chinese, but still very tasty. The boneless spareribs (I.e. char siu) was very good! Recommended!

I have been going to Tsang's off and on for 10 years and sometimes it was good and sometimes not. This visit will definitely be my last. I went for dinner with my brother on a Monday night about 1 1/2 hours before they closed. The only thing I wanted was a sushi roll and my brother ordered bone-in spare ribs. We ordered a couple of other appetizers to share. The spare ribs came and we quickly noticed that 3 of the 6 ribs were older than the others and there were bite marks out of 2 of them. It was disgusting. They must have taken ribs off of a plate that was returned from another table without realizing 2 of the ribs had bites in them. Wow! The server did not seem too concerned when we complained and did not take the ribs off of our bill. When I asked about the sushi roll, she said we quote "didn't need it" because we already had too much food. I couldn't believe a restaurant was turning down business. I have never in my many years experienced anything like this. I wonder how they can be in business for so long.

Went here on a Saturday early evening. Wasn't busy, got seated immediately. However by the time we were leaving, more people arrived and were arriving. We grabbed cocktails and dinner. I got the Harvest Manhattan for my cocktail and it was good but a little too sweet for my liking, but that's my fault as I didn't pay close attention to the ingredients. For my entree, I had the stuffed chicken pasta. It was delicious. Just wished the pasta was cooked a bit more longer. Actually I would have preferred a different type of pasta such as regular spaghetti, linguini or a fettuccine. The pasta it came with was a thick spaghetti-like pasta. I believe the correct pasta name is called bucatini. My table also ordered the Salt and Vinegar Fish and Chips and the Pistachio Crusted Salmon which i was told were good. Our apps consisted of fried chicken sliders and Bacon wrapped Squash Bites. The Bacon wrapped Squash Bites were my fave. Bacon was well done, nice and crispy and the squash was prepared well. A nice combination. Our server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cool with TVs. NFL games were on. I would visit here again. We had a great time overall.

The bar is lovely and wide with quite a few seats to have a couple of drinks and a bite to eat, which we did gladly. Service is excellent and the food is very good. Our only grumble is the number of beers on tap. When we went, it looked like there were a number of lines that weren't operational. The lasagna bites and poke tuna rice bowl were very good: tasty and prepared as described. The rice bowl could have used just a little more aioli, but still tasted very good.

While it may not follow the traditional cart-style dim sum service, Chinese Palace Dim Sum in Broomfield delivers an outstanding a la carte experience that more than makes up for it with quality and flavor. Every dish we sampled was absolutely delicious—carefully prepared, well presented, and bursting with authentic taste. From the delicate shrimp dumplings to the crispy sticky rice filled with pork, seasoning, and freshness across the board were excellent. It's clear the kitchen puts care into every plate. The space is clean and comfortable, with friendly and attentive service. Whether you're a dim sum regular or just dipping your toes into the world of Chinese small plates, Chinese Palace is worth a visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality dim sum in the North Denver/Broomfield area!

Very friendly staff. Excellent, delicious food. This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but it is very clean, and all of the food is fresh. Nice crisp vegetables in the noodle dish. The barbecue pork with honey sauce is amazing. We really enjoyed our lunch here!

This hidden gem serves up some of the most mouthwatering dumplings I’ve ever had! From the moment you step in, the ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal or a night out. The dumplings are the star of the show here. Whether you go for the steamed or pan-fried, they’re always packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The pork and chive dumplings are an absolute must-try, with a delicate, tender wrapper and a savory filling that bursts with every bite. The spice level is just right, too—enough to add a little kick but not overpower the dish. Service is always friendly and attentive, and the dishes come out quickly without sacrificing quality. It’s clear that this place truly cares about both the food and the experience. If you’re in the South End and craving some delicious Chinese food with top-tier dumplings, this place should be at the top of your list! Highly recommend!

Great service, maki was very good. Fried rice was ok. We came here for a work lunch. my colleagues liked the hotpot option! The pot stickers were goos.
