Stopped by for a quick dinner. There's not much seating outside (I think it's meant as a to-go spot) so that's perfect for eating in my car lolol. They have combo meals (entree and drink) for $10. Such a great deal. The girl taking my order let me pick the Japanese roasted coffee in lieu of the green/black tea for an additional $2, which was awesome. I got the fish shumai, fish katsu side, and a Japanese curry entree with the coffee. Everything was great, especially for the price. Katsu was CRISP, and the coffee was well roasted. I'd come back to try their other items for sure.

People are really friendly, when we ask for recommendations. They told us curry are non-spicy and our kids love it. The drinks are big size and we share among our family. Price are super good, $10 meal comes with a drink is a rare find these day.

I guess pandemic era review: 04/01/2022 (Sorry for the photo quality, there's a thick plastic barrier in the way, then Google downscales the quality after that) My family has been visiting here for decades. The lady is nice. They are willing to make a custom order for me that's not on the menu at all. The prices are good. The food tatses great. The servings are generally good. I've never had problems. Small family business. My usually places are kind of far, so I have them make me fried eggs with tomatoes :) Very unknown restaurant unless you go out of your way to find small restaurants, or frequently shop at the grocery store inside the building. The restaurants here should get more attention, I hope people see my review(s). I would suggest either choosing from the menu or knowing Chinese to order; English may or may not be understood. I simply have a clear picture of what I want made :) The daughter usually isn't here to help take orders, from what I've noticed. I have them make me fried egg with tomatoes because my usually place(s) are kind of far :) This place is in an area with lots of other adjacent restaurants. The restaurants I've tried have been good, but this is the place I frequently find myself at.

Very tasty and yummy combo rice,I choose the pork feet ,bitter melon soup and the fish.the entree is rich flavored and soften.

This is a Shantou family run restaurant. They speak English, Vietnamese, Cantonese, and some Mandarin. Their Hainan Chicken Rice (the rice is cooked with chicken broth, come with choice of house made dipping sauce) and the Spicy Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup are the signature dishes on the menu along with some Cantonese and Vietnamese favorites: shrimp wonton in egg-noodle soup, deep-fried spring egg rolls, pan-fried daikon / radish cake, and fried rice dishes. The fish balls are fresh but are not chewy enough. They serve complimentary dessert. The taro soup with tapioca and coconut cream is tasty. The parking is at rear, suffice for this 48- seat capacity restaurant.

This is the worst Hainanese chicken rice I have ever had. The price including tax is $14.24, and there are only 6 small pieces of chicken with long hair on them. I will not eat it again.

Delicious food. Recommended to try it. You will never regret. Reasonable price for lunch (11am to 6pm).

The lunch special is only $9.99 for 60+ dishes as of April 2022. This is a very typical Cantonese style Chinese restaurant and it is very similar to Sam Woo. The food is good and the size of the dishes are fair. Give it a try if you are looking for quick and decent Cantonese Chinese foods for cheap. Quick tips: Don't expect this is the cleanest restaurant. They do not have world class customer services there if you don't speak Cantonese.

Hidden gem in San Gabriel! Beijing Yuan offers an incredible $13.5 rice bowl special — and it’s way better than you’d expect for the price. I had the fish-flavored shredded pork and Beijing cold noodles, and both were delicious. The pork was juicy and perfectly balanced between sweet, sour, and spicy. The cold noodles were super authentic and refreshing. Plus, you get a free salad, oolong tea, and even fried milk for dessert! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and unbeatable value. Will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely fantastic experience at Beijing Tasty House! The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we ordered was a hit, especially the Peking duck and zhajiang noodles — both were incredibly delicious and reminded me of true Beijing-style cooking. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made great recommendations based on our tastes. The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Even though it was busy, we didn’t have to wait long. Definitely one of the best Chinese dining experiences I’ve had in the area. Can’t wait to come back!

I'm certain I've left a review for this location already. You get less stars for manipulating your rating. Abuse the system again and you get 1 star and get to find out how many tens of millions of views I have. I keep track of my reviews. Tasty food. Alright service. Good quantity of tables. Good quantity of seats. Average seating quality. Outdoor dining available. High chairs/tables available. This location can get quite busy. Drive-thru is available. Parking is generally not bad but it can get busy.

Honestly as an Asian visiting US, I can see how they tailored the tastes to the US Citizens! Generally the food is great and extremely tasty, but feels really unhealthy after I do eat it!

This is truly a mom and pop local restaurant. It's been here for years that we never tried. To our surprise, the food was good. The handmade noodles & beef were delicious and good texture. The lamb skewers were seasoned well. The meat was cooked perfectly and good quality, not the odds and ends cut. The dumpling skin was a bit too thick/doughy to my taste. We will come back again for sure.

My wife and I both love Asian food and my wife has been wanting hand made noodles. We live in the San Fernando Valley and we haven't found any hand made noodles in our area. So I looked on the Internet for the best hand rolled noodles and Kam Hong Garden came in second. I told my wife that we were going to dinner but I didn't tell her where. We drove for over 1hrs in the rain 🌧️ and traffic. We were greeted and sat down right away. Their menus are different from the picture on the website. We ordered the Beef Stew with Hand Rolled Noodles Soup and also the Leek with Minced Shrimp Boiled Dumplings and also the Saute Spicy Shrimp 🦐. We were so surprised when they brought out the food. The portions were huge and so very flavorful. Their Hand Rolled Noodles were the best Noodle we've ever eaten. If you want real Hand Rolled Noodles this is the restaurant that you have to come to. We took our leftovers home and had a wonderful lunch the next day.

This place has the most delicious meat pies. We get the lamb & green onions every time and they are so juicy and delicious. Highly recommend!

This is a must go to place. The meat pies are like giant pan fried xiao long bao: juicy and soupy and savory on the inside, crispy on the outside. Don't try to eat these while driving! You'll make a mess. I had (and recommend) the lamb and cilantro, and the beef with green onion. The pies must be hand made when you order; the cilantro inside of mine was still crisp, while the meat was cooked through. Service was quick and friendly, and the interior was inviting and clean. They also sell other items, like popular bottled green tea.

This is the most authentic Hong Kong causal dining (Cha Chang Teng) restaurant in the area. (I grew up in HK). Food is delicious and generous with portion size. Service is simple and quick. This is my third visit in the last two trips since I don’t live in the area. The rice congee with pork and century egg is proper, as well as the rice rolls with crunchy dough stick inside! Soft outside and crunchy inside. The pineapple bun with butter (I had it to go) is so good! They also will refill your milk tea or lemon tea which makes it such a good deal. Highly recommended.

We went for the lunch on Sat. We only waited for 15 min. We ordered chicken hot soup, extra vegetable, and cold combinations. The food is fresh and not salty. Will go back again 👍

This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy. I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though. If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash. Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks. I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order. If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.

One of our local gotos when we on a budget. Today we notice the price is up a bit. Food quality still pretty good. $35 fills 4 people.

Good dim sum, good service-polite, efficient. Large sized taro fried dumpling. Skin (wrap) to shrimp dumpling is thin, with nice chew. Good flavors, not so salty. Good value. 7 dishes $52. Beautiful setting. Nice glass enclosed banquet room.

So this place completely fooled us. We came here thinking it was going to be great, little did we know my wife would end up getting food poisoned. We wanted a 6lb lobster. They said they didnt have any that big but they have 2 3lb ones. They ended up giving us pieces of lobster that they claimed added up to 6.5lbs. Some of the pieces you know didnt come from the same lobster because it was discolored and sour. We told the manager we think it might be rotten because the meat was mushie, smells and tasted sour, the lady manager said thats how it is, shruged her shoulders and walked away. Take a look at the pictures, you can see it looks shy at least 3 lbs and see the rotten meat. A table ordered 2 lbs of lobster and our plate of lobster looked exactly the same.... when we asked the manager about it, she said 6 lbs? No ours is 6.5lbs. I pointed out how it was missing 2 and a half claws and many tail pieces. She says that's how the lobsters come.... I have pictures, you can be the judge. We asked for a high chair twice and kept asking for water which eventually made it to us by near the end of dining. Do yourself a favor and go to Boston lobster or Newport seafood. If you do for what ever reason decide to go here, don't get scammed like us, go to the lobster tank and point to the one you want. If they don't pull it out to cook, you know they just screwed you. After thought, I bet the lobster is probably left over pieces from the previous banquet or maybe they have a bucket of pre chopped lobsters they throw into the fryer. It would explain the random pieces and ungodly amount of legs attached to multiple bodies and scattered rotten pieces. They even asked us if we want the tais and heads for some reason when we were packing.
