We got: shrimp egg roll, crab rangoons, hot&sour soup, beef & broccoli, shrimp in garlic sauce, moo goo gai pan, shrimp lo mien, and general Tso’s chicken. It was all way WAY too sweet and otherwise flavorless. They used way too much cornstarch to thicken all the sauces; everything felt “goopy” The crab Rangoons were sweet enough to be desserts. The hot&sour soup was neither hot nor sour; it was cool&bland. My two teenage sons tried the beef & broccoli and said it wasn’t very good. Then they wouldn’t eat the shrimp&garlic sauce at all! We ate the moo goo gai pan, which was exactly as bland as it was supposed to be. That’s the dish hot sauce was made for. I ate the shrimp egg rolls, which were also bland but I wasn’t expecting much flavor to begin with. Everyone ate the General Tso’s chicken, but it too sweet and simultaneously bland. The place was clean and the service was pleasant

Right to the point… really good Chinese food… friendly fast service and a great value… run in - order - run out… Boom! This is our go-to and it should be yours!

I have admittedly impossible standards when it comes to Chinese food. I feel like it is rare that I find anything even comparable to the Chinese food I grew up with in the city but Wu Kong is absolutely spectacular. It is not just comparable, but equally as good. The quality of the ingredients, the freshness of everything I’ve tried to far; it’s unmatchable. I come here at least once a week and it never gets old. The hot and sour soup is to die for. Their general tsos chicken is second to none (especially if you ask for it a little extra crispy and a little extra spicy- unreal). Their dumplings, the sushi!!! All of it. Unreal. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should. It’s also insanely inexpensive and the portions are large. Unbeatable.

This place is clean! The atmosphere is absolutely better than expected for a location inside of a "house". The food was fresh and hot! The flavors were on point. We order the shrimp biscuits which were fresh shrimp (not chewy) the best egg rolls ever!!! Hand made!?!?! The dumplings were juicey and full of meat!!

Door is barely labeled, almost couldn't find it. I wish they'd have a bigger sign or decoration on the window. Food was good for the price and ready much quicker than expected. Small little seating area, room for 4-6. Wish there were utensils in the bag, but I might have missed them at the counter. Fork in picture from home and for scale.

My roommate ordered dinner, for my birthday, a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely delicious. We had a sampling of several of the side dishes, and rices. All of the food was cooked to perfection. I will definitely order from you again.

They make the best House Fried rice. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and consistent. Highly recommend! Love eating from here.

This is where it's at! Magnificent atmosphere, decor, food and service. Then ginger tea is brewed to perfection.

My sister was craving Thai we had been here few yrs back and so we went . Service was pleasant , I luv the decor and old Town home . Food flavors were good we got a variety of meals between myself my sister and my two cousins . So we had an array of flavors my only complaint as far as food was the basil spring roll . I eat them everywhere there was very little flavor and the rice paper was way too thick for what I'm use too but otherwise everything was good .

The food was good. The service was good. Took a bit to get our food, but I wouldn't say too long, and I think it was because it was made when we ordered, so I'm not complaining. The atmosphere is cool since it is right off main street and its outdoor dining. The only slight negatives I would say about the place is that it doesn't really have a parking lot but you can park on the street and walk a little to the food truck and that you might be waiting a bit because they are busy and popular.

We love Lao Thai express they really bring the aloha spirit. Garlic chicken is Bomb! Don’t miss out on the curry Thai style My kids always eat the spring rolls and garlic chicken Try to call ahead for your order is she gets super busy!!

Place was great! Other than the fact that you might have to wait a while for your sushi, it’s a fantastic spot for sushi made with love. I’ve been to Japan a few times, and I can confidently say this is my favorite spot for sushi when I don’t feel like making it at home. I don’t mind waiting a bit longer—personally, I think it’s well worth it. I remind myself that it’s a family-owned business making some damn good sushi. There was one time during a busy evening when I waited quite a bit longer than I’m normally comfortable with. That said, I understand the sushi-making might all fall on one person’s shoulders. It might help if someone could assist the sushi master during peak hours or maybe even develop a more efficient system in the kitchen to ease the workload and improve turnaround time—whatever the pain point might be behind the scenes. Still, despite the occasional wait, the quality and care that goes into the food keep me coming back. Highly recommend.

I really want to give them a good review. The sushi is great and better than many places around. The problem with Happy Salmon is that they are chronically understaffed, and it frequently takes as long as an hour for sushi to be ready. Even on not super busy nights. The sushi is a huge bottleneck, and this is a sushi restaurant. Also it seems the owner can’t be bothered to make any sushi, so while the orders are backed up, he’s just standing around doing something else or nothing. If they would/could fix this, I’d come here a lot more and would love to recommend the place to so many other people.

Don't let the hole in the wall exterior fool you - this is a gem! The inside is clean and decorative. The food is fresh and very reasonably priced. I love the roll specials. Staff is polite and courteous. Free parking.

Best sushi in Dunedin! Our favorite and they never disappoint. The sushi chef always has a creative special each month and they are so good! He also keeps the list of his creations, which are not on the menu, so you can order you favorite special creation anytime you return. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

I’m a local and I’ve been here a couple times for dinner and lunch. Compared to other places, food is delicious. I love the red snapper with curry or garlic sauce and also the basil leaves fried rice. Weekends get busy so I’d recommend you RSVP for 4 or more. Friendly waiters and they make you feel welcome.

I have lived in Dunedin for a few years and always drove past Kues. We ordered from them for the first time today and it is absolutely amazing. The food is so good and tastes fresh and soft. No hard pieces. We did a take out. Everything was hot and looked presentable. We will definitely be back. I ordered Sesame Seed Chicken and an egg roll. Generous portions

Super friendly service and comfortable atmosphere with good sushi and soup. I crave Tom Yum soup and can't say no to sushi :) I enjoyed some Thai beer with the above and a spicy tuna roll (rice could use a touch more vinegar).

I have been to this restaurant twice within the same day of my first visit. I was very impressed by the level of customer service because I definitely did not feel like a number. The first time I went there was with my mother, stepfather and sister. I wish we were there to celebrate the life of somebody very special to us. It turned out that our server had been the server for our late friend and his family several different times. We passed on the news of his passing and our server was very noticeably touched, and think this very much for letting her know. The atmosphere of this restaurant when you walk in is like going into a different era if you will. I felt like I was on an episode of Doctor Who because I was just surprised of the atmosphere and the decor, and most importantly the prices! This place is very affordable and you get very decent portions for the price of the food. I felt like we were eating at a place that inflation barely affected. I can tell you this much when I was looking at the menu on some of the different things for less than 10 bucks you can get your drink and either an appetizer or a small meal and get filled or at the very least satisfy that hunger itch. I would encourage everybody who likes Oriental food, and Sushi to check this place out in the city of Dunedin Florida.

My girlfriend ordered a pizza online at 9:20pm. They told her it would take about 25 mins to deliver. At around 9:55 the pizza never came, she paid a delivery tip online as well. So 9:55 she called in asking where her pizza was. The person on the phone said the order came in as pick up..it would ve taken us a few mins after 10pm to pick the pizza up. They person on the phone said they would be closed by 10pm. When she asked for a refund the person on the phone said they will deliver the pizza...we waited and waited and the pizza never came..the person on the phone was irrigant and very unprofessional and we will never order from his place again!!!!still never gotten the money refunded either.
