I ordered online. When I went in the staff was very friendly. My food was hot and bagged ready to go. It tastes so good I am writing this while eating. 10/10 recommend

Extremely disappointed in Wok of China. We used to get food here occasionally but have preferred Dragon City on North Bend for years. Dragon City was closed today, so Wok of China it was. We ordered Garlic Broccoli, Vegetable Chow Mein with Tofu, two Egg Rolls, and Subgum Vegetable Soup. According to the menu currently on their website (as of November 2021), the total for this without tax (and adding $1 for the tofu) should have been $18.35. They charged us $27.30, and since they gave my husband no receipt, we have no idea why. Beware credit card users: there is a sign at the cash register saying they charge 4% if you use a credit card. Since we get 5% cash back on food purchases, this fee negates most of the benefits. (I should note that this fee would add 73 cents to our total, so there are still dollars unaccounted for.) Whether or not you use cash back credit cards, this alone is worth going somewhere else. I should also note that this fee was not communicated to us over the phone before we took the time to drive there and pick our food up. It is such a shame that they overcharged us in two different ways, because the garlic broccoli was phenomenal. However, considering the untrustworthy nature of this last transaction, we will never again buy food at Wok of China. If you decide to risk it, please do yourself a favor and triple-check your order and demand a receipt: you might be overcharged. Edit: We have since tried resolving the overcharge with Wok of China. My husband printed out their menu from their current website and took it down there to show them the discrepancies. They refused to give him a receipt (again), and told him that they know the menu on their website is incorrect (they blamed it on a third party). They also refused a refund of the discrepancy. They showed him a menu they claimed was correct, but it did not have most of the things we ordered on it save for the egg rolls, so we're not sure why they took our order from the old menu to begin with. We ended up filing our first-ever dispute with our credit card company over this and our issue was finally resolved. This whole experience was horrific. Please be careful with your money going here.

The meat portion in the salad is way less than I expect. Overall, the quality of food is good with reasonable price. We ordered online an hour before but when we picked up the food, we waited for extra time.

If there's a 6th star I'd light it up for this place! Been here like a mollion times and will keep coming back. Fantastic food, friendly service and reasonable price.

You can experience various Korean foods. The food was delicious, especially kimchi fried rice. It's close to UCLA, so there are many places where you can see. The store was supposed to be eaten outside.

Food is great but the location is pretty busy! Definitely recommend take out or grabbing your food to go. Otherwise food was delicious and portions were great. The teriyaki sauce is delicious!

I ordered chicken fried rice to-go from Thai Emporium, but had a chance to soak in the atmosphere while waiting. The restaurant’s dark, cozy decor creates a lovely, intimate vibe that really sets the mood. When it comes to the food, the flavors are spot on—the chicken fried rice was both tasty and bursting with authentic flavor. However, the portion size left something to be desired. For the price, I expected a more generous serving, and the small size was a bit of a disappointment. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and attentive, which always enhances the dining experience. In summary: flavors on point, but the value for money isn’t quite there. Great ambiance and delicious food, though you’ll want to be prepared for a smaller serving than anticipated.

An intimate and cozy setting as soon as you walk in. The walls are adorned with pictures of celebrities who have dined here in the past, so I assume this place must be great! I opted for the fan favorite, pad Thai with chicken for the main course and veggie spring rolls for appetizers. I was not disappointed with either. Generous portions that are packed with flavor. The vegetables and peanuts pair well with the soft noodles. The spring rolls are golden with the right amount of crunch, and when dipped with their special sweet and sour sauce, you won't be able to stop eating! Excellent staff and very friendly service that tend to your needs. Definitely coming back here again.

Visiting the area and wanted Thai food! It was a bit far from my hotel but we walked 40 minutes anyway and it was definitely worth it! Of course we showed up hungry so we shared a fresh roll, I ordered a chicken pad Thai, partner got something I forgot the name of.. tiger something 😅, and we shared a mango sticky rice at the end! The service was excellent and I loved the atmosphere! A little small but has so much charm and beautiful plants. My pad Thai was a bit sweet for my personal taste but over all very good! I would recommend:)

A good Thai restaurant with a few vegetarian/vegan options. Google recommended this place as a Vegan restaurant, but it only has a few Vegan options on the menu. Enjoyed the Tom-Kha soup bowl for the family. Soup is well made and very tasty though it felt like it was watered down a little. The Red Curry with white rice is pretty good tasting. Enjoyed both the dishes asking with the authentic Thai Milk Tea. It's really rare to see real authentic and non-Americanized Thai milk tea nowadays. Glad to have a good tasting Thai milk tea. The service is very genuine, courteous and friendly. The place is small with only four tables inside and a couple of makeshift tables outside. The furniture and memorabilia reminds me of older and bygone times. It's even decorated with a real Vespa scooter itself. Pretty cool!!!

UPDATE: found hair in my food. UPDATE2: wasn’t even a message in my fortune cookie Got overcharged on my order; I didn’t grab anything from the premium menu and got charged 5$ more than what the menu says, even with tax. This is also the only panda express I know that uses paper straws, so drink is ruined too. Almost nothing in stock and I wasn’t even given a bag for take out at first unlike other locations. Service was also pretty slow

Quick bite when hungry? Panda express is the answer. Tons of selections served fast. The staffs are generally nice and helpful.

I visit this Panda Express often, and it’s by far the best one I’ve been to! The customer service is top-notch, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The food is always fresh and hot, especially the orange chicken, which is my favorite. You can tell they take pride in keeping the place clean, and it shows. The manager on shift even checked on us to make sure we were happy, which was a nice touch. If you’re looking for great food and great service, this is the Panda Express to visit!

I can't stand cheap restaurants! I ordered the sweet chilli chicken and received a bunch of peppers, onions, pineapples and SMALL bits of chicken. When I returned, after looking at my food in the car, to ask about the portion size of chicken I was told because it comes with vegetables there isn't a lot of chicken in serving such as how much you would receive with the orange chicken which do not have veggies (the explanation given when I said other patrons received generous protein portion servings). Ok, then explain why the pieces for those other non-vegetable proteins such as orange chicken have larger sized chicken pieces? I will not be returning and I already informed my son not to ask me to go there again, on my dime, either. The young lady who served me informed me if I received 7 pieces of chicken and I could purchase more for $1.50. Why would I purchase more onions, peppers, and pineapples!? I mean that's really what it consists of. Also the veggies you're seeing were an additional entree choice. And while polite, the young lady chose to use her marker to point out the seven pieces of chicken as she talked very close to my food. Smh!

I ate there yesterday, but held off making this review to see if I got sick last night. The food is subpar for a Chinese restaurant. The General Tso was not spicy and tasted like they added ketchup. Most entrees on the buffet were bland and lacked vegetables. There were two glaring issues from someone who eats Chinese at least once a week. The wonton soup and egg rolls were flavorless. Second, all the tables were disgustingly sticky. I overheard the waiter tell a husband and wife who came to eat, after they refused to sit at two dirty tables, the reason the tables are sticky is that they are 25 years old. Seriously!!! All that being said, the silverware and dishes were all clean. They had some amazing pot stickers, nice after eating ice cream selection, a large desert/fruit area, and my waiter was very nice. Haven't eaten here in over a year and I can tell you the place has gone downhill. Shame because it used to be good.

The food was terrible dry, over cooked, hard to bit into. Trays were pretty bare minimum. This place is gross and dirty. Kitchen looked dirty and place did not seem to have heat they had electric heaters in the bathroom. No prices listed for the buffet we never got straws or napkins I had to ask for them. The waitress was very rude acting the service sucked. We finished our food because we don't like wasting food. I found two good things to eat there out of 8 things I had. After we were done we decided not to go for seconds we went to checkout and pay and my friend paid for us. He asked for his change oh your not leaving a tip and he said no we are not she was very rude about everything and she did not even give him the right change back like she was gonna pocket it. Please what ever you do don't waste your time in this slum hole it's like walking into hell and wanting to leave as soon as possible.

Food was borderline inedible. Everything tasted like something I might have tried to cook in college - and failed. We should have figured the food wasn't going to be good when we walked in at 5pm on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was empty. We ordered the dry malatang since my wife was craving dry pot. It tasted like peanut butter with salt and peppers, and the portions were laughably small. It came with basically one piece of each of the advertised items - one fish ball, one slice of spam, one quail egg, etc. We also got the pickled sauerkraut spicy beef noodle soup. It just tasted like sauerkraut and salt with peppers. Where was the beef flavor?? The beef slices tasted meaty - not in a good way. The owner/manager was really nice and came by to see how we liked everything. We gave him our honest review. He said he'd talk to the chef to make it better. He might need to hire a new chef. My wife and I couldn't stop talking about how bad the food was all night. It was only after we finished eating and left the restaurant that we noticed the new bruin bowl malatang restaurant next door - it was packed. We'll probably try that place next time - even the owner/manager here suggested it...

Not flashy but very authentic. They were busy when i dined there around 7pm. I saw mostly Asian customers so that tells a lot of their authenticity. Also have vegan options when ask.

This was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed. I got the trio combo with steak, chicken and shrimp. It came with vegetables and I also opted for half fried rice and half garlic noodles. The rice and noodles were AMAZING. The portion was HUGE and the pieces of meat were big and cooked perfectly to order. I hardly put a dent in my plate and I still have enough for at least two servings, maybe even three. No complaints. Good food and I'll definitely find my way back to try the lobster at some point.

I got chicken plate and it comes with some veggies, some chicken, lots of rice, and two choices of sauce. The chicken was too dry for me. The vegetables and rice were soggy. Overall taste was average, the dine-in place had no AC, table and chair were a bit greasy...

Northern Cafe Noodle House 0

We were initially confusing this place with two other Northern Cafes in the area (Hot Pot and Dumpling House). This one is the noodle house which means they specialize in noodle dishes. The service was great and friendly. The waitress was patient and explained different types of dishes as our friends had questions about the lamb skewers. Everything is ordered digitally (reminded me of the time in China). We ordered a few cold dish appetizers: - Woodear mushroom: Typical flavor of sour and savory with some garlic (8 out of 10) - Cucumber: Similar taste as woodear but with a lot more garlic (8 out of 10) Followed by mini lamb skewers: I feel they need to increase the serving portion and with cumin as a dipping spice (as how every restaurant does in China). Ended with two noodle dishes: One sliced beef noodle and one Dan Dan noodle. Both were mediocre and lack the flavor needed, especially for Dan Dan noodle. As a Chinese, I would not recommend this restaurant, but if you just want to give it a try and do not mind its lack of authenticity, go for it!

The food was good! The portions are large. I couldn't finish mine. The waiter had swagger. We will be back. They'll be on our regular rotation now.
