The food is okay. Great price! Lunch special is $10 per dish.

Their food and price point are decent. But I am disappointed by their service.

The cucumber salad is a must-try—fresh, with a little spicy kick and the perfect crunch. The beef wrap was a solid 10/10: not too flaky, packed with flavorful fillings, and reminiscent of char siu. The Sichuan zhajiang noodles had a great balance of flavors, and I loved the numbing aftertaste—though I wish it had a bit more spice. As for the braised beef soup, it was just okay. The meat was definitely tender and well-cooked, but the broth could use a little more salt to really bring out the flavors.

Good Alley has been on my list to try for quite awhile. A friend of mine came here last week and said you have to try it because it's like Din Tai Fung. My friends and I finally took the leap to try out Good Alley. So glad they just opened so people don't know about this place yet. But I am not going to keep this place because I want them to succeed. I love the fact that the condiments such as soy sauce, chili oil and black vinegar are on the table so you can make your sauce for the dumplings/xlb. They are a la carte restaurant/ family style which was perfect for us. The more people you have in your party you can try more dishes. For our items: Appetizer: Xi'an cold noodles (reminded me of dan dan noodles), Sliced Beef and Ox in chili oil Vegetables: Cauliflower dry pot Handmade Dumpling: Kurobuta pork with shrimp and chives Soup Dumpling: Kurobuta pork with crab meat Burgers: Cumin Lamb Chinese Burger and the A5 Wagyu Beef Chinese Burger Drinks: Saving space for dessert elsewhere so we just had ice water Dessert: Not much choices just a steam red beans bun (But we did not try it) The Highlights: The winner of all the dishes were both the dumplings (the soup dumpling had real crabs and was juicy and the handmade dumpling had a nice mouthful bite to them with fresh ingredients). We definitely enjoyed the Xian cold noodles (refreshing and memorable). Both Chinese burgers were excellent choices to try Roujiamo (buns for the burger-It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and holds the meat nicely). Our least favorite dishes were the Sliced Beef and Oxtail (bland and the only thing you can taste was the chili oil). My friend had to fix this dish by asking for sugar and adding more soy sauce. The dry cauliflower clay pot had sliced pork belly in there but the skin wasn't cooked down enough so it was hard. Service was very efficient and the food came out piping hot. The staff are constantly checking in on you and checking if you need anything. They are constantly clearing the empty plates and refilling our drinks. The staff at this restaurant are always checking so thank you for being organized and so efficient! Definitely recommend and would definitely come back. Tips: *Accepts Credit Cards *Restroom for customers. *Indoor seating only *They sell a variety of teas and boba type drinks *Same plaza as 888 but on the Shin-Sen-Gumi Ramen side with Cha Tra Mue (thai tea spot)/ Golden Delight #2 *Parking lot shared with other businesses Can be challenging on the weekend

Zheng Shang Xian 蒸上鲜 offers reasonably priced Chinese food in a comfortable and inviting environment. In addition to the tasty dishes, diners can enjoy delightful Chinese music that enhances the atmosphere, creating a relaxing dining experience. The restaurant also serves refreshing icy lemon water, making it a refreshing stop for casual meals or group gatherings. Overall, the combination of delicious food, pleasant ambiance, and soothing music makes it a great choice for Chinese cuisine.

The flat noodle, fried croaker and steamed rice here is really good. The staff is super friendly offering a nice family environment. Highly recommend.

This is your typical Chinese style cafe. Wait can be awhile when crowded. Food is good, reasonable priced and portions. Gets noisy. They like to get you in and out quickly.

Good food, great value and friendly service! Lunch special until 6pm. I alway order take out before 6 for dinner. Extra large 36oz drink for only $2.50 with food order. Highly recommended.

The food is pretty average, nothing special, but not bad either. The waiter is good, getting my milk tea refill without me have to ask. And the price is decent. I would come back again.

So I just visited Hong Kong a few months back and the wifey and I was craving some authentic HK style breakfast hence we decided to head over to the Delicious Food Corner on Valley Blvd in Rosemead. We got there just right after they open because we weren’t sure if there was gonna be a wait since it is a popular HK style eatery in the area, luckily we got seated right away and was greeted by the servers with the menus. My wifey ordered the beef congee with rice stick and chow mein combo and I ordered the Sautee Beef Instant noodle combo with their HK famous Pineapple Bun. The food came fairly quickly and we dove right in and boy did it hit the spot as everything was spot on with what we had back in HK. The congee was favorable and smooth while the rice stick and chow mein was cook just right not too greasy which made everything perfect. The Sautee Beef Instant noodle was also superb with the right amount of curry and soupy flavor which I was so craving for and the pineapple bun was down just right with the butter melted but not burnt. The hot milk tea that we ordered along with our combos completed the whole meal as you can rarely get the perfect cup of HK style milk tea from other places and they did their tea just right. Overall it was a great breakfast experience and we will be back for lunch or dinner soon!!

Was craving hot pot on this cold gloomy day and this place definitely delivered. A great variety of cooked foods and the meats and veggies were very fresh. Thank you to our servers Wendy & Sophia for this great first time experience!

Good overall experience dining the hotpot here. We made a reservation and were brought to our table quickly upon arrival. The staff was also very attentive and friendly. Dishes were also good. Nevertheless still a 4 star for me as the hotpot meat quality could be improved as the cuts (beef, pork) were much more fatty than normal hotpots

This place is pretty good for szechuan food. The best fish was the cold pork belly with garlic sauce. The meat was tender and there was noodles underneath it and the sauce was very good. The steamed pork slices were also very good and hearty. The wonton in chili oil was surprisingly also good. The boiled fish with pickles and green beans were decent. The overall taste of this place is interesting in that the mala isn't as strong as other Szechuan places. So that might be a turn off for some. The staff was nice and brought out the dishes in a timely order but kind of inattentive at times like filling the water. The atmosphere feels nice and quiet and homely.

I had a pleasant Sichuan dinner here back in February 2024. Def a solid spot - and hidden gem - for good spicy Chinese food. The business owners are also very nice. They spoke Mandarin but also a bit of English. Parking was easy. They have bathrooms in the back. Prices are very reasonable (compared to places in Alhambra/Monterey Park).

Had a Taro Milk Tea. Satisfies a craving and not too bad for the price. Have been here years so familiar with the drinks and they won't be a must have. Just moreso convenient and accessible. Keep in mind they prefer cash, using credit requires a $.50 charge.

Got the shrimp combo chow mien plate...

Don't be put off by the plain exterior or the low ratings. When you see many elderly people at a restaurant, you can bet the flavor is authentic and exceptional. Every time I've come, the Sweet and Sour Fried Egg with Shredded Vegetables is a must on the table; something so simple, yet it leaves such a lasting impression. It can get busy in the evenings, but I've never had to wait long or have difficulty securing a table. This restaurant also has the option for you to bring your own seafood (lobster, fish, crab, etc), you choose a flavor/ style and they'll make it for you. As of August 2024 it was $10/pound for labor, which compared to other restaurants is a very good deal and price. The owners are also here, one in the kitchen and one out serving, so you can count on the flavor and service being top notch.

Very authentic Cantonese!!! Tastes like back in Canton!!! Staff friendly too. Call to book beforehand to avoid queue, they are very popular especially dinner time. Wish they open a restaurant in Sydney, we like it so much that we went back the second time even though we only had 3 days in LA. We brought their menu back in Sydney as our LA travel souvenirs! Everything is on point, highly recommended!

Years ago my mom randomly came to this store after a gig in the area, and she was shocked by how good it was. We happened to be in the area again, and my mom INSISTED on coming here. We ordered number 1 and some cucumbers. Clean, rich flavors. We got mild, and while there’s a kick it isn’t overwhelming. Numbing spice though! Cucumbers were fresh, salty and rich on the outside and crisp. Unassuming interior, delicious meal.

Came to place because I like the confidence. It's a a good noodle house, one of the better ones been too. Good combo of soup and noodles flavor was all on point. The service was great, and for the price you get a good amount of food.

This place was busy. The food was very good and the service was good. The price is average. I think this place is overlooked by people because there are a lot of noodle places in this area. The noodles here are freshly made and the wonton that I had was full of flavor that you want in a dumpling. I think what could have been better was the beef in the noodle could have been cooked a little longer to make it more tender. But the noodles and dumpling were spot on. I hope they can improve on the beef because that would be important to my family and me to enjoy our noodle dishes.

I recently discovered this place with my friend. The food was pretty good the first time I was there, but the service was so-so, which was kind of expected in this area. Because the food tasted pretty good, I decided to take my grandma and aunt here for lunch. We ordered simmered noodle soup, mung bean jelly, and pan-fried buns. There was a long wait between each of the dishes, so we ended up eating each dish one by one, which is not typical for Chinese food. We were almost done with the mung bean jelly before the simmered noodle soup was served, and the pan-fried buns were still not there when we almost finished the simmered noodle. When we finally saw the buns, the waiter/owner served them to a table that came later than us but ordered the same dish. We thought maybe he forgot, so we went to ask him. He was very unapologetic and rude about it. He said, "What do you want me to do about it?" That just ruined our day, which was supposed to be a fun outing with my 90-year-old grandma. No matter how good the food tastes, it's not worth it. I understand that people make mistakes in placing orders sometimes, so I'm not mad about that. It's his attitude, which was just terrible. I don't see them staying in business for long if they don't change how they treat customers. This could have been a four or five-star review, but now it's a one. No food is good enough to ruin your mood for.

Nanjing Duck House 0

Nanjing Duck House

The most authentic Nanjing Salty Duck, I have bought from this restaurant for years! The old owner was from Nanjing and the recipe was from the most famous duck restaurant in that region, but sadly after Covid they only provided take out service, it still the same quality even after the new owner took over the store! Their duck were purchased from different state, less fat and more tender meet, and the cutting skill kept the way it should be, each piece is thinner and neat!

The restaurant is ran by a lady genuinely from Nanjing. I can tell by her way of speaking Chinese. The salted duck is great. She has a lot of pride in her duck recipe.
