Corner Express
I found out about this place by this app called TooGoodToGo. They had a “Surpise bag” for $9.99 so i decided to give it a try . I went 10 min before the closing time and i got these 2 plates full of food . It was such a steal & everything was so delicious 😍! Thank you TooGoodToGo & Corner Express for my $9.99 dinner 🤗❤️
It's a serve yourself Chinese food 5.99 the lb. I got a little bit of everything just to try their food. Unfortunately half of my food was cold. I bought a boba and a smoothie Both are great. Would I consider coming back? Maybe for drinks but not for food. They also have a small ice cream section.
Panda Wok
The food was good here up to the point that I found maggots in my food They have a lot of flies flying around. I didn’t think that I would find maggots in my food I’m gonna be a little bit more careful from now on
I stopped by to get some food for my family. When I finished ordering the lady only gave me 1 hot sauce and 1 soy sauce for 3 people when I asked for more she gave me 1 more I told her can I get 3 of each I got 3 plates the lady went crazy telling me no. I told her I'll pay for it she just started rambling. Respect is very important to me. You don't start yelling at a person over sauce. Never again.
Señor Wok
This Chinese food has GOOD flavor. They give you well rounded portions and the noodles have a good taste. Teriyaki chicken is the best.
$10 (2025) for a 2 item combo and you get a container full of tasty food!
Chinatown Express
Nice staff. Food was mid. The only thing that was good from there was the teriyaki chicken. The fried rice was bland and chow mein tasted burnt. Got the BBQ pork and that thing was tough to chew. Had them a few years ago and it was pretty good. Now not so much. I don't know if that place ever gets busy cause there was only other customer besides me. Won't be back thats for sure. If you're in the area it is best if you find a better spot for your money.
The best orange chicken iv had in a long time everything was fresh and the amount of food I got for the price is amazing
Gourmet Palace China Bistro
The staff is very friendly plenty of parking and the is absolutely delicious. Those with mobility devices there is plenty of space to maneuver. The location is very clean and provides a friendly and family like atmosphere. I have eaten here multiple times and have not been disappointed. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall highly recommended 👌
We have been looking for a good authentic Chinese Restaurant in the Valley, we have been to other Chinese Restaurants and this one tops our list. A must try is their Italian Style Fish Fillet the sauce and taste is amazing, Orange Chicken my son’s favorite is one the best we have tasted, Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp, French Style Filet Mignon, Wonton Soup, Egg Flower Soup, their servings is huge, this is our 3rd time to come and we will keep coming back to try their other awesome dishes on their menu.
Szechuwan Garden
Came for the lunch special they had going on and it was surprisingly good. When I went, lunch specials start at $11 and up. Service was great and quick, food was good and it assuming that the dinner will be better and overall it was a good first experience. The atmosphere was kind of dead but it was about to pick up when I was getting ready to leave.
I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special. For $10.50 I got the mongolian beef with a choice of rice, choice of either egg, sunflower soup or sweet and sour soup, and one vegetable egg roll. It was really good. For the price its excellent. I want to try dining there the restaurant is really nice. Lady who got my order was really friendly too. Made my order in 10 min. I'll definitely come back.
Golden City Chinese Cuisine
It was crispy noodle type of day and I wanted one badly that day. I stumbled upon this low key Chinese restaurant. The entrance is at the back facing the parking lot. Next to the restaurant is a bar that seems to attract chunky dudes who likes motorcycles. Frankly the entrance looks a bit sus. Upon stepping in you’ll recognize it to be quintessential family run Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. Only thing missing is the obligatory owner’s child doing homework in a corner table lol. The crispy noodles I ordered was the one topped with prawn and veggies. The serving was quite generous and nicely plated. $14.95 for such a good serving! Other than maybe a bit more shrimp I’ll say it was a 👍👍 I’ll try the salt and pepper pork chop or the French style filet mignon next time.
Golden City is everything you want in a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you're part of the family. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. But let's talk about the food – it's the star of the show! Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and incredibly fresh. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their cooking. It's seriously some of the tastiest Chinese food I've had in a long time. Now, about that back entrance... it might look a little unassuming, but as the wise Morpheus once said, "There's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.". Don't let it deter you! The culinary treasures that await inside are well worth venturing past the back door. Plus, there's plenty of parking in the back, which is why we, and most other customers, usually use that entrance. Golden City is the perfect spot for a casual weeknight dinner or a weekend family meal. It has that authentic, neighborhood Chinese food place vibe that's hard to find these days. I'll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!
Super Wok Chinese Restaurant
I was a bit skeptical at thinking it is another restaurant serving s*ty soy sauce drenched noodles, but it was such a pleasant revelation how good the dishes were. The Super Wok Special Beef is the one to order! It is incredibly tender, slight sweetness to it and buttery. It it served on top of a bed of sliced oranges. It is guaranteed to make you keep coming back for more. The dish is $19+ and serving is generous. I went back another day to try out the lunch special. This time it was the crispy salt pepper shrimp selected. For $13.75, it came with a soup of the day, rice and the entree. Serving was very generous, maybe even 2 people can share one. It was excellent!
We came in for some quick lunch, and had the egg rolls, hot and sour soup, chow mein, and orange chicken. It was all very good, especially the soup. The egg rolls were okay, and the sauces were great--I also like the spicy mustard they put out. They had Thai Tea which was nice :)
New Moon
We had our farewell party here. We enjoyed the food. It was good the first served of foods but the 2nd round of food same menu, it become quite salty. But we like their dessert.
This may just be the BEST hidden gem in all of Southern California. We were highly recommended this place by friends and family and so we decided to give it a try for dinner tonight. The food was delicious and the portions were GENEROUS. The prices are more than fair for the amount of food you get and everyone who works there was kind and extremely involved. I’d rate this place 6 stars out of 5 if I could for their plum sauce alone. We had dinner on a Sunday at peak dinner hours and were greeted, seated, and served in less than 5 minutes. They have a VERY involved staff that work incredibly together to bring satisfaction. Our server Andrea was also kind and one of the many reasons we will be returning! I have ONLY great things to say about our experience today, I highly recommend!
Golden Fortune Express
I come here more than Panda Small comfy business
A nice hole in the wall Chinese food spot. Was greeted by a friendly older man. The selection may be limited but the food was delicious. Definitely recommend their BBQ pork. It was tender and smoky
House of Joy - La Crescenta
Repeatedly disappointed and afraid to come back :( Used to be my favorite restaurant in the area, got served spoiled onions multiple times via dine-in and delivery. The Mongolian beef was not cooked the same as it was the first time we went. Owners seem very kind, but my husband and I are hesitant to come back. If this issue was fixed we would love to return. The food used to be amazing.
Plenty of parking, great jiajia mien (black bean sauce noodles), and good glazed honey-texture chicken (aka Korean orange chicken). Service is good, hot tea comes with the meal, and lots of seating inside! Pricing is average.
Wok Express
When I walked in, I was greeted by 2 friendly people. I let him know that it was my first time here. He gave me the whole rundown of selections that I could pick from, and what was the most popular. That was helpful. I ordered the two item combo. I asked if they were making any more chicken and mushroom. He said they could do that for me, which was nice. I got my order, and I would have to say that they offer nice size portions. The food was tasty. I would consider going back some other time. Overall it was a nice experience. Side Note: They close at 8 PM not 9 PM like this website says.
Only place my son will eat Chinese food from!! Owners have always been supportive of our Autism journey, we started going there when he was 3 and he is going to be 14 in February!! Our go to all the time! Food is fresh portions are great and service is EXCELLENT!
