Very Good restaurant. The owners lived and raised thier family right on 190th in University I remember seeing the owner's wife pregnant back in the day walking to open the store during the winter. Their children are in college now these are hard-working people from my neighborhood their store, their restaurant has always had a community vibe. I love this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone looking for Chinese food

After being a loyal customer for so long, they decided not to service me or give me my food because unfortunately, I didn’t have change for $100. Sad because I always order from them and they treated me like a complete stranger even after I told them the food was for my 10 year old daughter. Very disappointed.

Solid place to get Chinese food that’s a little cheaper than Taste down the street. They’re also a good place to get dim sum in Palo Alto (although in my opinion the dim sum prices are still pricey, but that’s Palo Alto for you). This time we got the cumin lamb and sautéed broccoli with some white rice. The cumin lamb was very good. It was a bit salty, but this dish usually is. The service was a little slow this time. The cumin lamb was served before the rice so we had to wait a little to get our rice to eat with the dish. But I’ve gone before and haven’t had that problem with the service before so it could just be that time. The inside’s really new and clean. It feels modern and warm. Also the bathroom’s surprisingly large and nice. It definitely feels like an expensive restaurant bathroom. Parking: There are many parking garages in Palo Alto so it’s not too hard for us to find parking

Good food, a bit pricey. Try the crispy shrimp balls, they’re really good and so is the sauce. The main dishes are priced more competitively than the small dishes; if you eat mostly dim sum the price quickly adds up. 18% gratuity is added to all orders. Kitchen closes at 8:30 PM but the place stays open until 9. There is dog friendly outdoor seating.

The food is great but it’s really expensive. Would be 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper. for example, the sweet and sour dish was $40 and wasn’t a huge serving. another reason why it’s 4 stars is because someone in my party is deathly allergic to pine nuts and they don’t list their allergens. chinese dishes aren’t usually cooked with pine nuts so it would have been nice to know they were in the dish.

Great Chinese food! They do really good spicy food, but their other dishes are really good. This time we got the cumin lamb and it was delicious! Would recommend if you’re looking for a Chinese restaraunt in Palo Alto. Service is good. They were attentive in taking our orders and making sure we got everything we needed. I don’t think we waited too long to order, get our food, or get the check. The inside is pretty. They have many Chinese decorations so it feels very nostalgic of a classic Chinese restaurant. Love this place for a quick bite. Chow mein is tasty, lots of veggies and the noodles have a nice chew to them. Love the veggie egg rolls. They have curry flavor to them. I've tried orange chicken, mushroom chicken, chicken curry, BBQ pork, and sweet and sour chicken. All were pretty good. I like that they don't overcook the chicken. It's always nice and moist and tender. The boba drinks are on my "to try" list.

I will never go here again. I used to love them now they are overpriced and under-served unless of course you're a male (I'm a female). The man in front of me git a HUGE portion of the exact same order as me. Then, the man behind me got a HUGE portion of the same item I ordered. Totally biased to men. I will share a Pic of my order.

they always give so much here which is great !! service is quick and friendly. i just wish my stomach didn't hurt every time i got food here , which has only happened at this panda location specifically. regardless , i am still going to keep eating here. you can use your rewards here which is great!

Fast service, solid food Pretty much the same as most panda expresses

Ordered the 1 item bowl with soda and veggie spring rolls (no dipping sauceincluded in bag) through Door Dash. I requested a few soy sauce for the bowl and rolls. When I received my order, there was no soy sauce and no napkins in the bag (what restaurant sends out delivery orders with no napkins?). When I called the restaurant, the employee who answered the phone tried to blame it on the Door Dash driver for no making sure they were in the bag. I quickly reminded her that it is the restaurant's responsibility to make sure the orfer is complete before the driver gets there to pick it up.

AMAZING SERVICE!!! Me and my mom walked in right as they opened, completely empty,workers just showing up. We order and of course they just opened so the food was still cooking, no problemo. We sit down for about 3 minutes and they hand us free drinks for the wait and about 5 minutes later we get our food and its delicious 10/10

Ordered right before closing, but the food was still decent. Definitely American Chinese food with a ton of oil. I liked the coconut shrimp and peanut chicken. The peanut chicken has a very light flavor of peanut. Again, everything was very oily. Customer service was below average. They couldn't get my debit card to process. Just paid with cash. They gave me 85% lo mein and 15% of the two entrees. Not super impressed. I would recommend trying other Chinese American Madison restaurants over this one.

The food here is real good, but depending on how late you go the choices start to get pretty limited because they aren't willing to make another batch (hence the four star rating). Otherwise it's a good cheap Chinese place. I'd recommend the Mei Fun noodles and the Honey Chicken.

The food is delicious and the price is very affordable. It is a very good party experience and I will continue to place large party orders.

My friends and I order from A8 China almost every time we are craving Chinese food. I had originally heard of this restaurant from my work place a couple of years ago and have been recommending them ever since. I have had nothing but great experiences with this restaurant. I've never dined in, but delivery is always quick and they're always incredibly friendly when I come to pick up. The food is always hot, delicious, and the portion sizes are excellent. The chicken is tender and doesn't have any gristle, which is something I've experienced with other restaurants. Plus, again, they do NOT skimp on any of the food! Every now and then, they won't have a specific drink if you order online, but they always substitute it for something else. A lot of the times, they'll include a drink with your delivery as a curtesy! I can't express how much I truly enjoy ordering from here and I highly recommend it if you haven't tried them yet. :)

Do not go here. They have four people walking around doing a one person job when they could be helping someone checkout. It takes four people to take the trash out or clean a table. And they just stand around on their phones. And the vibe sucks. To the workers who work there don't worry life gets better.

Came in an hour and a half before closing and the employees complained amongst each other as if I could not hear. I have worked in food and I understand coming in 30 mins till close or 5 minutes till close but a full 1.5 hours?! At least speak where I’m not in ears reach??? Having an attitude because you have to do your job is mind boggling to me.

Quick and easy, good portions and quick service. Everything you want from a Panda Express! Great mushroom chicken, not too undercooked. I've had better versions of the orange chicken (it's particularly sour here), but overall good.

Ordered Panda Express from here for the first time yesterday and they gave me a laughably small portion of fried rice with my “bigger plate” order. How can it possibly be called bigger plate if you give me like 2 scoops of fried rice and 3 entrees that can’t even make a toddler full? At least pack the fried rice in there. Jesus Christ.

Extremely Disappointing The lady serving food was extremely rude and unprofessional — no basic courtesy at all. On top of that, the food quantity was very small and the taste was awful. After 3 years in this building, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had.

Wish I read the reviews before going. $13 for plain noodles and a handful of chicken. Bland taste and terrible value.
