Their food has always been fine, not great, but fills the hungry pangs when in a hurry. Today this location’s food flavoring is failing, just didn’t taste the same as I remembered it. The chowmein had very small amount of noodles compared to the amount of cabbage they add. The orange chicken was way too sweet and cold and the broccoli beef had literally 3 tiny pieces of beef, just all broccoli and cold. Even the fortune cookie I got was crushed into little pieces. No line and it still took several minutes for the cashier to show up and charge me. I won’t be going back to this location.

The food was fresh and delicious. I got the new beyond orange chicken and enjoyed it. Only bummer was having to wait for it to be made, as well as one of our other entrees, for about 5 min after ordering. There is an area to sit outside and plenty of seating indoors.

When I’m feeling hungry and want some Chinese food, this is always my first stop. The portions, in my opinion, are huge for the price and I’m ways impressed with the flavors. Their service is also lovely, really receptive to what I want to get, offer suggestions, and make sure I always have what I need.

@chinsszechwan will be my go Chinese restaurant from now on, I can easily guarantee that everything on the menu will be super delicious, I loved the varieties on their menu, 😋😋 the service is so friendly and generous, they make sure that you are enjoying your experience at all times. They have 7 locations in San Diego, I got to try their restaurant in Encinitas ☺️ and i would definitely love to try the other locations too 😉

Every dishes is unique and delicious. We traveled to here from Seattle and found this place. We ordered fried dumplings, steamed baos, crispy pork chops with noodles, cucumber and green beans salad, BBQ ribs etc. Everything is very tasty and delicious. The servers were so kind with friendly support. Overall we really enjoyed the food and entertainment here. This is a perfect place for handmade dumplings and noodles lover. Price is very reasonable. I do recommend perhaps sharing dishes, the portion sizes are pretty big. Definitely we will comeback.

Came for dinner at around 5:30pm on a Wednesday. It was a bit busy, but the servers were very attentive, ensuring that every guest was well taken care of. Food was great, and the service was even better! My server was extremely helpful in helping me decide what to get, and her recommendations were spot on! I started with the beef potstickers and they were very juicy and packed with flavor. The chicken wontons and cucumber salad are a MUST, and the milk green tea was delicious. The custard bun was a great dessert to end the meal too. Every dish I tried was well worth it! The ambiance was very nice, the restaurant is a bit small but it makes for a good service. I enjoyed watching the chefs make the dumplings through an open window, which added to the experience. The overall vibe was very chic and sophisticated, definitely on par with other high-end restaurants. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends!!

Some friends brought me here and recommended the monk bowl, it was delicious! I enjoyed the monk bowl very much. The bowl was super hot and made the rice crispy. It kept the food piping hot. I got mine with the monk beef, it was bomb af fire🔥

Karelly was our server and she was excellent. She asked us if it was our first time there, it was. Then she explained the Monk Bowl to us and how to order it. She took her time and answered every question we had and made it easy for us to understand. The food was really really good! The portions are huge, I do mean huge. You will be taking some home with you. The two sauces on the table were very tasty. One of them was sweet n spicy and the other was soy sauce plus their extra flair to it. We also had the pork and shrimp pot stickers. These were excellent as well as everything else. The soy type sauce used with the pot stickers was very yummy. I forgot to take before pictures but here's what it looked like after we dug in. Words alone cannot describe how much we enjoyed this place. We will be back. Bobbi Jo and Jeff

My photos are not the best to explain how DEEEEEELICIOUS the food are. I mean hands down the flavor just bursts in your mouth. We ordered: Brussels sprouts - hands down the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had🤩 Kimchi potstickers with apple kimchi - WOOOO MAMA! def not your mama’s kimchi. So good! You can’t go wrong. Orange-ish chicken- Holy moly! I can’t go back having “normal” orange chicken ever again. Ask for their house hot sauce. Be careful… the spice lingers for a while. It’s a different kind of spice. The spice slowly grows. So good! Pork fried rice- they are very generous with the pork. Tender and so flavorful. I love it! Lastly… spicy mango smash drink (alcohol). Delish!!!! You can’t go wrong.

Beware of random 5% service charge added at the VERY END of your order. I had already added a tip, as I always do. Then when I saw my receipt, I realized it was over the “total” quoted as I completed my order. This will be the last time I ever give my business to this company. There is no “menu” and no employee taking the order. When you enter, you are instructed to choose a table then use your smartphone to scan a barcode to access an online menu. Then you enter your order, yourself, on your phone. According to the employees and a small blurb that finally appears, AFTER you hit “Pay”, the “Management” claim the 5% service fee they are randomly charging is to “offset” wage increases and benefits”. I am extremely disappointed to write that this is now their modus operandi, in addition to menu items increasing in price between 20-35% (the sides like Kimchi and cucumbers were $3 a couple of years ago and are now $4.50 each or $4.25 if you order all 5. The taste of the food is alright, however, the interior air is extremely toxic with the smoke from the stir fry . From the expression on the face of the employees, when I expressed my exception to this unexpected “service charge”, I was not the first to complain. The place is very loud, too. They play music louder than necessary, IMO. Although the flavors are acceptable, don’t expect your meal to be healthful. The poor brussel sprouts were fried, until they were black and oily, when you bite into them. Bear in mind that any food that is “blackened” has carcinogenic chemicals, as a result of the blackening. A pity because if they had been steamed and then the spicy sauce added, afterwards, it could have been a relatively healthful dish. The salmon was ok. Large enough to share. If I’d known that there were Brussel sprouts in the dish, I wouldn’t have ordered them separately. Nevertheless, for this price point, I’ll dine elsewhere.

Birdseye is predictably unpredictable… the food generally tastes great but you order will be wrong every time. It’s like a mystery but when you have food allergies it’s probably not worth the risk… my family love this place so we eat there often and rarely if ever eat what we ordered how we order it! Too bad too the restaurant has potential to be truly great but the disconnect is the service! In closing todays experience was a burnt bbq skewer broken of in my drunken noodles and we got shorted on rice every damn time we eat there and today was no different, we end up having to make our own rice because no one wants to go back to complain! Probably the last time we will eat here at my insistence! I’m just done!

I ordered something I couldn't really pronounce. It was like a Japanese broccoli leaves in like a brown sauce. I ordered it with the pork belly. It was pretty darn good. My waitress did not make fun of me even though I could not pronounce it correctly. It looked like a small portion when they brought it but when I was done I was extremely satisfied so it was bigger than it looked or more filling than it looked. I'm not really sure but it tasted delicious. My friend ordered the yellow curry with chicken. I was able to try a bite. It was also delicious. Good amount of carrots without overdoing it. I really like this place. I used to go a lot when they opened. It seems like about a decade ago, but I haven't been in a while. It's still rad. Check it out!

Amazing. Their food is authentic and flavorful and the portions are generous. The staff is very friendly and he food came out quick! We had the Panang Curry, Phad Thai, and Thai Sausage. We’re from North County and will be making the trip here often for our Thai fix.

Enjoyed the Pad Thai, egg roll lunch combo for take out. Flavor, spice, and quality was great.

I love the presentation the owner and staff were fantastic. And some of the best flavorful Thai food you will have in San Diego. Thai Society has been here for twelve years in Encinitas and is a staple of this town.

Don’t miss crispy pork belly. It’s a must! As a Thai person, this place is authentic. Pad Thai is excellent. Service is good and attentive. There were a lot of take out orders as well. Singha beer is available here. Another recommendation is their Boba milk Thai tea.

It's in n out! People love this place for what it is. It's not like it's gourmet food, or something amazing. It's just the best drive-thru around. And I love the shakes.

What can I say that someone doesn’t already know. Born & raised in Southern California, it’s still the best tasing burger around. Plus, it’s still very affordable, burger, fries and a drink for under $13. Great, now I’m hungry.

This was my third attempt with PhoEver over 8 years and I really wish there was a better outcome. I'll say that for service, it was friendly if not short-handed. One person working the front of restaurant, so was taking care of register and all of the tables. The best thing I've ever received from their kitchen is the French baquette roll for their Banh Mi, which I'm pretty sure they source and then neglect to cut in half when specifically promised. The accouterment is tragic, liver globs/ not spread, veg sparse and not really pickled. And they leave all of the seeds/pits in their peppers and cut them really thick so just be mindful of that. Both the chicken and pork in the Bahn mi was dry, rock hard and all fat, tendons and cartilage. As far as the pho is concerned, the regular size for $19 is a waste. As many people have mentioned in their reviews, the pho broth is bland and the chicken was dry. Unfortunately, I'm calling it at 3 attempts and won't be going back and could never recommend so sadly have to rate 1 star. Not the place to go when craving Vietnamese food. Wish Kim's was still open. :(

Consistent quality, an impressive menu, and a casual, laid back atmosphere. The menu features many well-known dishes from traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The food is well prepared and packed with flavor. Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes are huge. You can never go wrong with the Pho. I've tried it several times, and each time it definitely hits the spot. The rice dishes are delicious. It is served with Steamed Rice, and BBQ Pork, Beef, Chicken, Meatloaf, Pork Chop, Shrimp, and/or Egg, or a combination thereof, and with a light, fresh salad. It's the perfect combination of flavor and ingredients, which leaves a memorable, delightful taste on the palette. Exotic specialty dishes are also offered, like the Bún Bò Hué (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) and the Quàng Noodle Bowl. Several sauces are available at each table and/or upon request to increase flavor or complement the taste are offered. My favorite is the fish sauce. Service has dramatically improved. In the past they made some small, innocent mistakes during their busy hours. One time the servers forgot to put in my mother's order. Another time they spilled water on our table as they were refilling our water glasses. But the servers made up the mistakes with their kindness and generosity: on both occasions they picked up the tab! That's what I call great service. The place itself is not a "Fine Dine" joint. It's great for a quickie. Not the best to impress a date or your boss. But it's perfect for a later date or if you want to casually hangout with friends and family. It's a laid-back, super casual eatery, with seating inside. No outdoor seating. Waiters take your order at the table and bring you your food. Restaurant offers take-out. Food is brought out pretty quickly (within 5 min during non-busy hours and 10 minutes during busy hours). Inside is pretty loud. Catch sports games on their 2 big flat screen TVs inside. Overall, great bang for buck. Food is good. Service is good. Pho-Ever has Noelito's seal of approval.

Small place. There was one person seated when I arrived. It's normally a take out/pickup place, so they were maybe a tiny bit surprised when I asked to be seated. It took me a while to decide on what to order. The photos cycling through the screen on the wall helped. I ordered the minced chicken with Thai basil, no spice. And it was excellent. Just what I wanted: some meat, veggies and rice with a fried egg on top. I also got a Thai iced tea with boba. It was either 16 or 20 oz. Most Thai teas feel heavy and are too sweet. This was not overpowering but more refreshing than most. It didn't feel like a dessert. I would like to return and bring all my Asian foodie friends.

I called around 9pm and was told by the person(JACK claims to be his name. Image attached) who attended my call before even taking my order that they are closing soon. Then he asked me what I want? I said 2 orders and of tom yum soup spice level 10. Then he asked me what meat I want in my soup? I asked him what options I have? Which is a common question everyone asks while ordering. But then Kim he right away got mad and told me “YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME” can’t you look at the menu online and order? I was soo down hearing those words from him at that point. Again I politely replied him that I am driving from Fallbrook to his restaurant only so I can’t look at his menu while driving and I requested him to go over the protein options they have? He refused to provide option. Then I asked him do you have beef? He said “NO”. Then I aske do you have “MIX SEAFOOD”? He said “NO”. But even then he is not ready to explain the option. But he was in a intension to disconnect my call and told me he not gonna place my order until I reach his restaurant and do not want to waste food. I again pleaded him that I am driving please place the order for 2 Tom yum chicken soup large spice 10 and if you want I can pay now on the phone so that if I reach close to his closing time I can just pick up and I won’t be a reason to close his ledger delayed and go home late. But he refused that too. He again said he won’t place the order and waste food, and be here before closing and place order in person. After the experience over the phone I was about to turn over from my half way, but since my wife asked for the soup and that was the only restaurant open until 9.30 i proceeded. Once I reached the restaurant I asked him are you the one who was talking to me on the phone? Can’t you explain the protein option while I was driving? He again with an attitude showed me the laminated menu to see the option, and didn’t allowed me to talk further. I then placed the order for 2 large soup and told him I “Don’t want to waste time with a person who doesn’t know to respect others time”. Not sure if this business owner read this review? I was standing in front of him and waiting for my order for 10 mins for no reason and that could be avoided if he took my order over phone and that would have made both ends easier. He was showing kind of worst attitude like why I am there at his restaurant for the whole time when I was there waiting for the food. And BTW: The soup was soo bland. No sourness at all. No taste at all. I am having Tom Yum soup for years and this is not the one I expected. My bad. Wrong restaurant choice. Never ever returning back.

Had a really great late lunch. Service was impressive, Vivi took great care of us. We ordered a variety of food and everything exceeded our expectations. Started with Kaarage and pork belly bao, both were so good. My wife got the drunken noodles and my daughter got the power protein poke, excellent choices. I got the pork ramen, it was so delicious but I couldn’t eat it all, so I had to choose my least favorite ingredient in the ramen and that was the Brussel sprouts. They were fine in this dish, but I’m not sure why they chose to add them? I don’t know what they brought to the party. We finished it off with a couple character buns. The Pig and the Unicorn, both were delicious. Bottom line is the food is exceptional but the service makes it a must go to. They also had a very good selection of beer for an Asian noodle house.

Went on a Sunday night around 7pm Not too crowded. Choose the elevated chair section. Ramen broths superb. Recommend the chicken cutlet ramen, pot stickers and homemade bao.Vinnie server excellent, very knowledgeable and big sake collection. Tried the unfiltered strawberry sake. Chef's kiss.
