We must’ve caught this place on a bad night. Between Nextdoor reviews and google reviews, most people say really good things. However, we won’t be back. The food was quite honestly not good. The rangoons had zero crunch- they were completely soggy. The sesame chicken was so over fried there was no chicken when you bit into it- tasted like dust. My husband said the kung pao chicken was “alright”. Sad our food experience wasn’t great :(

My kids Bought Chinese food here because of reviews but I'm sorry to say that your food is disgusting 😡😡. Starting with the combination fry rice so tasteless . The orange chicken 🐔🐔 was hard as a rubber 🥾🥾. Chicken chow mein 🐥🐥 so salty 🧂🧂🧂. And food prices are too high 🚀🚀🚀. I don't recommend this restaurant to buy or eat their food 👎👎. Please go somewhere else to spend your money 💰💰💰.

Such a great place. The servers were incredibly polite and helpful and the food was amazing. We tried many items and liked them all. The beef tomato noodle soup was excellent and the pork dumplings in chili sauce. I can’t wait to go back and try more things.

The food was great! The Shredded Potato Salad was really good, I’ve never tried it before. The Pan fried Dumplings were also my second fav. These pictures are the fried wontons, Pork and crab Xiao long bao and hot and spicy pork Xiao long bao, (which I preferred better), and of course the potato salad. Nice environment, fast service too!

This is my new favorite Chinese place in Brentwood! I was a little suspicious at first. The place was deceptively quiet. When we walked in the place was small, welcoming and vwry very clean! Decor was traditional, well placed, and attractive. We sat down and were greeted instantly. The food came out lightning fast, and everything we tried was incredibly delicious. It was very reasonably priced for the quality we received. It is a family owned place, and their dine in business has been quiet after COVID-19, but their takeout is still booming. We will definitely be back for dine in and will also do some takeout. Come and visit you will not regret it.

WOW this place was TERRIBLE!!! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would as that is what it deserves. First off, the Asian lady that works there and sits at the front was so RUDE. The energy in in this whole restaurant was super negative! There was no music on in the restaurant, it was dead silent. The Mongolian and Schewan chicken we ordered were chewy, our jaws hurt from just trying to eat! We ended up leaving the chicken and trying to fill up with the rest of the food we ordered. I don’t understand how this place is in business with such rude people running it!

Came in an hour before they closed. It looked like they were ready to go home. I asked if they were gonna make any food and she said no what a letdown this place used to be good and it’s the training facility so I’m not sure what is going on here I think that Corporate needs to come back out and handle things. I won’t be back thank God Wendy’s just opened up next-door. They’ll get my business from now on.

Today, I had Yasmin wait on me. She was VERY patient and helpful. Helped me thru ordering online (I have no aptitude for technology) and also package my food up. I hope corporate reads these and gives acknowledgment when an employee goes way over their job title description. Yasmin did exactly that today! She is a wonderful young woman/employee!

Delicious, plump, meaty duck. The burnished, glistening skin has a slight bite to it. Fat thoroughly rendered. Excellent flavor and roast. Soy sauce chicken is tender and has a lovely aroma & flavor. Skin is very appetizing. 100% will come here regularly. As good as a city place. No need to go to 99 Ranch anymore. I hope they do well and remain in business!

報吃! 跑🥹 The roast duck was extremely salty and lacked meat. It was all skin and bone, with barely any tender meat to enjoy. The duck was overly lean—about as lean as it gets—which made the texture dry and unsatisfying. Overall, quite a disappointing dish. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you enjoy very salty, meatless duck.

I was looking for local affordable Chinese food and decided to try this today. It was so easy to order online and pay when picking up. The rice was soft which I appreciate and the portion and quality of the chicken and black bean sauce was really good. It also came with a soup. They also had everything packaged and ready to go when arrived. Really appreciate this restaurant. I'm open to trying other items on the menu in future.

Finally, after 30 years, there is a very authentic Chinese restaurant in East County in Brentwood,ca. I have visited this restaurant 4 times and satisfied and pleased with what I ordered. I have ordered different styles of noodle dishes like pan fried chow mein to different entrees like beef, chicken, ribs, tofu, and vegetable dishes. Other than traveling to Concord or Walnut Creek for a good decent general Chinese (Northern or Southern) cuisine, this restaurant is now my number 1 Chinese restaurant in the area. I have other favorites for pure Northern, Southern, and Dim sum restaurants. This restaurant was opened 5 years ago and I have noticed this place for years, but thought it was another average Chinese eatery, glad I visited this place a few months ago and found they had dishes that are not offered at other nearby restaurants and they do cook authentic northern and southern Chinese dishes. I have asked for dish of food not in the menu and I was surprised they were able to comply and surprise me with a very good dish. I have traveled and visited Chinese restaurants in areas of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, BC, Texas, New York and Florida, this restaurant is not the best, but it is very good for this area.

I’m really disappointed with the quality of the food at Panda Express lately. The chow mein, in particular, has gone downhill, it's undercooked, dry, chewy, and completely lacking flavor. The Kung Pao Chicken was overly salty, and the Orange Chicken seemed undercooked. It feels like the authenticity and care in preparation just aren’t there anymore. I truly hope they consider bringing back skilled cooks who can bring real Chinese flavor back to the menu.

This location has gone downhill in the past 6 months. I brought my son in at 10:15am and the healthy entrees are empty and employees are all sitting down eating in the lobby. What the heck, how can you be out of food so early after just opening.

Went for dim sum and fortunately we went early as the line when we left was long!!! The service is efficient. No one really smiles but also no one is rude. The food seems hit and miss. Some dishes are tasty and one was so bad we actually returned it. They let us return it with explanation no problem. That was much appreciated. The restaurant is older but functional. It is located within the mall. There is plenty of parking to be had.

Chinese banquet tables are always fun. We had 10 people, so it was the typical lazy susan round table with a ton of yummy food. Hot and sour soup to start. I think it was prepared well, though I'm not a huge fan of this kind of soup. Do you like Hainan chicken? It's the lightly colored blanched kind that you dip in soy sauce with garlic, ginger, and scallions. One of the "cleaner" tasting Chinese dishes you will have. You can't go wrong with stir fried steak and veggies in black bean sauce. And of course Peking duck with the buns is a Chinese dining staple. For something a little more hearty we had the salt and pepper spare ribs which is pork dipped and deep fried in batter. Walnut shrimp was creamy with perfectly honey-glazed walnuts. Long life noodles are usually kind of plain but there's was quite tasty. And of course we needed veggies, so we had baby pea greens sauteed in garlic and oil. Chinese style family banquet dinners rock. And Asia Pearl Kitchen was pretty darned good.

Absolutely great experience here! It was pretty quiet on a Monday evening but that didn’t take away from the atmosphere. The staff, especially the owner, were very friendly and welcoming. We got some great recommendations for dishes- including xiaolongbao, lamb dumplings, seaweed, and veggie dumplings. Everything was amazing. Would highly recommend anyone come here.

New dumpling store! As others have noted seating is limited and spills out into the mall area outside the store. I really wanted to like this place but the items we got were generally not marinated adequately. As this is a new store, it’s possible they’re still figuring things out. On the plus side, when we had an issue with a dish, they checked it out, apologized for the issues, and brought us out a replacement. The service people were great.

It’s been a while since I’ve had dinner here and it is still as good as I remember! Dinner was so good tonight and excellent service as usual. Not sure what’s up with the negative reviews, but I have been eating here for years and the food is still consistently good and tasty. We always order a variety of different main dishes and they are fresh and taste good. Generous portions.

This place used to be my family's go-to place to eat, my Grandma's favorite, she liked the braised beef noodles. Recently, it looked like this restaurant was under new management or new owners, the quality of the food declined, we noticed this happened after the pandemics probably they loss a chef. Now, even the service was poor under new team of waiters(new faces). My famy and I had a very bad experience on the Mid Autumn dinner.... When we arrived, I was telling the staff that we had a reservation (time, # of people and my name), but actually the staff who had big eyes was not receiving me, she was greeting to someone who seemed to be acquaintant and ignored us, so I repeated again and she said "ok,ok wait a minute", then I head she was speaking to herself but I could clearly hear she was saying "慌死冇得食咩" was a Contanese phrase meant we were afraid there was nothing to eat, and it was very rude to say to someone especially to the customers. I heard it but did not want to raise a scene because it was a holiday. We ordered 6 dishes: 1/2 dozen of steamed oysters on the half shells, 1/2 roasted duck (their very best in the Bay Area), 1/2 crispy chicken, a steamed whole fish (fresh from the fish tank behind us), twin lobsters (special deal that evening), a vegetable stir-fried with salty shrimp sauce. Food came to us fast, the veggies, the oysters, the lobsters, the fish, and then we realized the appetizer roasted duck not yet showed up and we saw the two roasted hanging in the display behind us were all gone and we still hadn't receive our order, also the crispy chicken not yet showed up. The staff brought the chicken but it was steamed chicken that was not our order, soon she realized someone made a mistake on the order and also our 1/2 roasted duck went to the other table. No one was followed up on the remaining of our orders, until we called the staff over asked for the status, the manager (the one who worked behind the counter) came to tell us our roasted duck was cooking. They sold out the roasted ducks in the middle of dinner time and they had to make new batch of roasted ducks (which we believe they were supposed to be for the next day). After we almost finished all the food on our table, the crispy chicken delivered to us with lots of oil on the chips and the meat was dried. Finally the roasted duck came but the skin and the flavor both tasted like they still needed more time, they were rushing to get the ducks out to the rest of the customers and neglected on the quality. We thought the steamed oysters with black beans and garlic sauce was the best dish, however, we all had diarrhea when we got home after the dinner. All the food was fully cooked, except perhaps the oysters were under cooked or they were bad quality, we could not taste them because the black bean and garlic flavors overpowered the flavor of the oysters. So the food was bad, also the service. Unacceptable.

I found 2 tiny black hairs on my food and it costed 85 for tiny plates of food but it was good overall

I had been a regular customer for years and really enjoyed their food, but being rude to me and asking me not to come back just because I complained about my curry chicken dish that she brought out to me was unacceptable. I only asked why the curry sauce was so watery and not thicker because that was not the way they had always cooked it. There was no argument, just a simple request to modify the curry sauce with the chicken. She said, “No, don’t come back.” Not good customer service.
