If you’re looking for an authentic, flavor-packed Szechuan dining experience, Szechuan Garden in Concord is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, the interior immerses you in genuine Chinese charm, setting the perfect tone for a meal full of bold, traditional flavors. The Szechuan-style roast whole fish was a hit - perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice who CAN handle it! It’s a bit on the fiery side, but the balance of flavors is incredible, and the spice level is more of a delightful challenge than a deterrent. The cucumber salad was light and refreshing, and the popcorn shrimp? Mmmmmm….we loved it so much we had to order it twice! The service started off a little dry, but quickly turned into a warm, pleasant and even funny experience that matched the authenticity of the food. To top it all off, the complementary sesame balls served with tea in authentic China-wear were the perfect sweet ending. I couldn’t resist coming back the very next day, this time bringing new friends to share in the experience. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving true Szechuan flavors!

The food is ridiculously good. Like, flavors on point, not overly salty, everything light and tasty. Honestly this is hands down some of the best food in the area. And it’s really not expensive at all for the generous portions. I can’t wait to come back, such a great addition to the area. Definitely give it a try if you want what to me seemed like some of the most authentic Szechuan in the east bay.

Had an amazing dining experience at Chowking! The food was great—fresh, tasty, and served quickly. But what really stood out was the excellent service from Monica. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Her positive attitude and professionalism really made our visit extra special. Kudos to Monica for going above and beyond! Will definitely be back again soon.

Lauriat has no chicharap. Other than that, fried chicken was great almost similar to the ones being served in the Philippines. (Better quality than what Jollibee fried chicken—across it—serves).

Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed their lunch specials. We were seated right away and service was prompt and attentive. Prices are reasonable. The interior is comfortable and pleasant, and they have a full bar upstairs and TV'S and a pool table as well. We both agreed our food was good but not exceptional. Portions are adequate for the lunch specials. Overall a nice place for some Chinese food at a reasonable price right in downtown Concord.

Great place - food is good! Only downfall is, if you order takeout, know that their portions for things like chicken fingers and boneless ribs are SMALL. There is no option for large, so if you are looking to feed a family of 4, you’ll need to double or even triple up, which is super pricey.

Welcoming environment, friendly staff. I was promptly greeted and made to feel appreciated. The staff members were working well together. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the mushroom chicken!

It's 9:19 am. A little early for Panda, I understand...but this locations hours are 9am to 11am. So explain why I am being ignored by every worker, doors are locked and I am being looked at like the crazy person by the staff? Your google page as well as a picture on the side window indicated you should be open. If the hours are not that, they should be changed and your workers should at least come to the door and acknowledge the customer. Update: Manager arrived and definitely tried to help me. He was very apologetic and offered to make my food for me. I left anyway because my attitude was shot after waiting so long and being ignored. He was amazing, his staff much less than

I ordered take out so couldn't give 5 stars on atmosphere. But the person at register was very nice and honest. I accidentelly gave $20 extra on an order under $20. Many host/cashiers aren't as honest. I also was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food in my order. I moved out of state from north of Concord but from now on when I visit I will get my Chinese food at Man Yee!

I love the D6 lunch special. Compared to the other restaurants in concord the price and the amount is way better. I also love the spring rolls here. I will always come here for my family Chinese food!!!!!!!!😋😋😋

The restaurant was very clean. Loved that! Loved the Linen napkins and the paper placemats with an Asian zodiac. That was fun! (Glad to know that my husband and I are a compatible match!😆) Absolutely loved the delicious tea that was offered by a polite young Server shortly after being seated in their dining area. We also appreciated getting iced water without having to ask for it. That was very nice, indeed. What wasn’t so great was having everything we ordered served all at once! …Some folks might consider this fast service, but this might mean that the food may not have been cooked fresh and was prepared and cooked in advance; then reheated and served. It also would have been nice to have had a little time to enjoy the appetizer before the main meal, or at least be given the option for that. All in all, our chicken wings appetizer was okay. The Beef Lo Mein was dry, salty and almost meatless. The General Tao’s entree was also dry and hard even though there was a generous amount of sauce. As for taste, it didn’t have much! Everything tasted just okay. —Nothing special. I must mention that the gentleman Host was pleasant and graciously professional, but on the other hand, our main Server was not so nice. His shirt was noticeably soiled, his attention seemed ingenuous and his manners were questionable… By this I mean that when he began to serve our food, he placed my husband’s plate squarely in front of him, but then he just carelessly pushed my plate over to me! Hmmm, Lol!… He must have sensed that I would write a less than favorable review about him.🙃😊😁 Honestly, I must admit that I have mixed feelings about the visit, and can “sort of” recommend the restaurant. Although the food and service was not the best, their prices are reasonable and the atmosphere was relaxed, casual and comfortable. I also must say that the young Server saved the day. —He was SO nice, kind and respectful!

Ordered takeout for Christmas. First time ever ordering from there. I saw a lot of mixed reviews, but we live in Penacook so I figured we would give it a shot. Overall I think it was okay. I little greasier than other places. The crab Rangoon could have been better too it was kinda hard. Food wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t terrible either.

Awesome little place. Great location right on Main Street. Quaint dining room that is very clean. Very nice looking bar area. Service was fast. The food is absolutely delicious. They have many great lunch specials. I will surely return.

It's decent Chinese food. Probably on par with anything else in the Concord area. They do a lot of takeout. We dine-in once and a while. Service is very slow, only one server any of the times we visited. Last meal some items were warm but cooled quickly. We'll go again because it's similar taste and quality to other Chinese restaurants in Concord.

These guys have been around for over 30 years in Concord. They have by far the best Chinese food anywhere in town. I always get the D2. They have a couple of tables you can sit at inside but generally get to take out only. They're shrimp and lobster sauce is amazing they're boneless spare ribs are great but they also have bone in spare ribs too! The teriyaki beef is amazing in their pork fried rice is to die for check them out you won't be disappointed!

I ordered a pupu platter for 2, shrimp fried rice and house lomaine today. Just have to mention it was the best chinese food I've had in a long time. Lucky to have them in concord. Big portions, they even had crab rangoon and fried shrimp in their pupu platter as well as the "big" egg rolls. Sweet onions in their fried rice. Just too good. They deserve a very good review. If you haven't tried them lately, you will not be dissapointed.

im convinced everyone leaving reviews are just picky, hard to please people because i have 0 complaints. i never leave reviews but this place needs justice. the food was hot, restaurant was clean, workers were happy and the location is easily accessible. the portions fed me twice that day and it was SO good. honorable mention of the fresh broccoli they had, 10/10 broccoli beef.

I'm rarely in Concord, but decided to get something quick from Panda Express. I placed an online order, but quick it was not. There were so many people waiting, I ended up going to sit in my car. I ordered the chili crisp shrimp, a spring roll, and cream cheese rangoon. The food was good on a cool night. They just need to tighten up the service to match.

Portion size was small. I ordered sesame chicken dinner combo and donuts. I got 8 donuts instead of 10 and sesame chicken was more like lunch portion than dinner. Tasted good though. Haven’t decided if I will give it another try.

I just ordered from this place and I have to say. It the best Chinese takeout in my place. The food taste good, the quality of the food is great. Service is efficient, fast and kind. Meats are fresh and portions are more than fair and this restaurant does not, it’s perfect for a last minute dinner or if you don’t feel like coming. Definitely recommend and definitely will be ordering again.

I placed order for pickup on doordash, they were nice enough to bring it out to my bobtail! Food was great! I had the fried dumplings and chicken with mushrooms.

been ordering from here for a decade or longer, and there's a reason they've been around so long. The combination meals are a great deal, especially off the lunch menu. The sesame chicken is my favorite, but the lo mein is great also!

Love the food and polite service! Exactly what you'd hope for. Got free egg roll as well.

We ordered sesame chicken, orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, and vegetable fried rice tonight. The sesame chicken was a bit of a letdown—definitely not the best I’ve had. The flavor just didn’t hit like it should. Surprisingly, the orange chicken was pretty good! It had a nice spicy kick to it, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t even usually eat orange chicken. Now let’s talk about the rice—both the shrimp and vegetable fried rice were on point. Honestly, I could eat that by itself and be completely satisfied. Overall, a solid 7.5/10.
