Lantern Garden - Anaheim Plaza
Praise YAHUAH the LORD and His Son Yahusha HaMashiach Messiah Jesus Christ and the Ruach HaKodesh Holy Spirit!!! Really good China Shop, made to order soups, entrees and bobas. Friendly, Fast and Fresh food. Add walnut shrimp to any bowl for $1.50. It's about a dollar more than average, but it's worth it.
I had a positive experience here. My first time to order, the girl at the counter was nice and patient with me to explain everything and let me try couple of items for taste. Black menu is for already prepared items and white menu is made to order. Food was very tasty. I ordered 3 item dish from black menu that came with noodles, steam white rice, spicy chicken, beef and broccoli and jalapeno chicken. Hot and sour soup White menu item chicken and broccoli My only one problem is that they either they forgot to give me steam rice with chicken and broccoli or if it comes additional cost then please specify that on your menu. Not having any rice to eat my chicken and broccoli was not pleasant.
China Kitchen
I visited this Chinese restaurant today, and as always, it didn’t disappoint. I ordered a shrimp chow mein, shrimp and broccoli, orange chicken, and cream cheese wontons, all of which were absolutely fantastic. The shrimp was fresh, the flavors were spot on, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The orange chicken was especially a highlight perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sweetness. The cream cheese wontons were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, and the white rice that came with the meal was light and fluffy. The staff was very kind and friendly, making the experience even better. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, and it’s become one of my go to spots for authentic New York style Chinese food. I will definitely return, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for tasty, quality Chinese dishes.
We had an excellent dinner from here. We'll be back for more. Everything made to order and great tasting. Had garlic beef and bbq pork, wife's favorite. Also the fried dumplings were great. Crispy noodles as well.
The Wok Experience
Meh. It's really no different than every other Chinese restaurant. I eat here often because it's close. Big portions which is great. I get two or three meals out of it 😁😋 I don't like the fact they charge you for sauce. Chili sauce, soy sauce and hot mustard should be given in a packet however, you have to pay to get a cup of chili sauce. I'll continue to go.
I love that they accommodate my wonton soup with no wontons because I stopped eating meat. However, I do eat seafood so they added in extra shrimp 😁 happy to get what I pay for. I went back two nights ago to get the same soup. However this time I found myself chewing on pieces of pork meat. Needless to say I couldn’t eat it and wasted my money. It was a very busy night so I ordered ahead for pick up. I didn’t expect that rush survice experience. Nor do I want to do this again. I’m not gonna lie another time I also had unclean shrimp in my soup. So I couldn’t eat that one either. The food is truly good there and I do like the people that work there.
Ho-Toy's Chinese Food
My all-time-favorite! Haven't found another Chinese restaurant as good as Ho-Toy's. Every entry is delicious and you can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite dishes are: BBQ Pork and Teriyaki Chicken. They always pack your tray/container to the max - extremely generous when serving. Of course, their customer service is great. Everytime I walk in, I am greeted with a "Welcome!" Strongly recommend this spot!
GREAT VALUE for 10 dollars They give you so much food, and it’s pretty good! Great for hungry students
Lantern Garden - Downtown Anaheim
For 21 dollars you can’t beat this! Fantastic food great staff and in a fantastic location just down the street from Disneyland. This is a hidden little gem that you need to look for.
It was around 8:30pm & my family wanted some Chinese food. We googled places with 4 stars or more within a 10min drive from our hotel & found this place that was still open. We practically just threw away money because the food was not good at all & most went to the trash can. The veggies tasted old & the chicken was disgustingly hard in texture instead of soft & tender in the green bean chicken. The fried rice didn't even have any flavor. I should have read more of the reviews because I hate wasting money. Skip this place & go elsewhere. Yuck!! I can't believe I have to give them a star because there's no option for zero stars.
Northeast Sisters 东北姐妹俩
It's the hidden gem! The grilled cold noodle tastes the same as the one in my home country and spicy mixed chicken shredded is very delicious. They open until 1am that perfect for me as a night person. I ordered online and it was ready in 10min! And glad to know that they have another location in Costa Mesa which is closer to me! Can't wait to try again!
Did a delivery for dinner. Cold noodle portion is way too small for the money I paid and the broth has no taste at all. They even put ice in the soup jar, not professional at all. As a Chinese from Northeast region, I’ve never seen dumplings served in the soup, not professional. My friend ordered the Spicy Hot Pot, looked good when he got it. But 80% of the ingredients is napa cabbage. Really bad experience. I’ll never order from this restaurant again. So disappointed.
Panda Express
Walking into Panda Express is like stepping into a warm, delicious hug from your favorite foodie friend. The smell hits you first—sweet, tangy, garlicky goodness wafting through the air like an irresistible siren song. But let’s get to the real star of the show: the orange chicken. Oh yes, the glorious, crispy, sticky, sweet-and-spicy masterpiece that dances on your taste buds like it’s got its own rhythm. It’s my absolute favorite, and honestly, I’d fight someone for the last piece (in a friendly way, of course… maybe). Every bite is a crunchy, saucy celebration of why fast casual Asian-inspired food deserves a permanent place in our hearts—and stomachs. Pair it with some fried rice or chow mein, and boom—you’ve got yourself a flavor-packed party tray on a plastic plate. Sure, it’s not “authentic” Chinese food, but it’s authentically delicious, and sometimes that’s all you need. The staff is always speedy and friendly, the portions are generous, and you can even pretend you’re eating healthy by adding a scoop of super greens. (Balance, right?) Panda Express, thank you for keeping my orange chicken cravings alive and well. Never change.
I stopped here to grab some broccoli beef and honey sesame chicken that tasted pretty good. The meal came with fried rice and chow mein but the noodles were a bit undercooked lacked flavor. Also sesame chicken served portion was unimpressive compared to the entire meal.
China Wall
We came in the last week of Sept, looking for take out for a group of 11 adults. We got a mix of many different entrees. They were slow that evening, and when they loaded up our to-go containers, they really filled them up. they were very generous with their helping size. We took this back to the home rental we had, and it well took care of all of us, and the variation was great. I wouldn't recommend any one dish over another, but would recommend to get a mix of things and share family style. We did look at several different places to go to this night and just happened this was the one we choose, should our travels bring us back to this area again, I am certain this will be the first place we go for this type of food.
I originally just needed to use a restroom and walked into this place. Was gonna order egg rolls and leave. Upon looking at what they serve, it looked hella appetizing so I ordered another dish. To my surprise, the egg rolls were hella bomb: super crispy and fresh, the veggies inside the roll were also fresh- these are not frozen egg rolls! The woman who helped me was very welcoming and adorable. I will definitely come back here when in the area.
P.F. Chang's
Restaurant is fairly clean. Food is pretty mid. I had the Pad-tai and there was so little flavor. Very bland, wouldn’t recommend. My teen had beef and broccoli with white rice and enjoyed it. What made this visit decent was the service we received. Our server was on point and fun to chat with about local on goings.
While enjoying Disneyland we decided to eat outside the park, so we picked PF Chang's. We got there a little after 4pm and were seated immediately. The staff who greeted us at the door were polite and our waiter was friendly and accommodating. We ordered the Chef's Feast for 2. The crispy green beans were the 💣💥💣💥 and the hot and sour soup was very good! We both enjoyed the changs chicken dish and the firecracker shrimp 🍤 😋
Golden Sea Restaurant
Went to an event couple days ago and was surprised of the dishes served. Although all dishes were indeed little smaller than those served at a wedding, the chef did a great job with seasoning/flavors.
It's a wedding and event banquet venue seating up to 600 people, with sound equipment, lighting and a dance floor with tasteful decorations. They serve 7 banquet menus for tables of 10; starting at $238 with 7 dishes. The $286 has Maine lobster with lo mein noodle, also fish maw soup, walnut shrimp, deep fried whole chicken, deep fried fish filets with mango chutney, fried rice ect. Top wedding menus are in $500-600 with exotic and expensive ingredients. Large sales meetings have been known to order low cost menus with only 2 dishes. Among many banquet venues, this chef is very good. All his dishes are fresh, tasty and flavorful without excess sugar, fat, spices or MSG. The wait staff was polite and efficient. Service was good. Wine bottles were popped before food was served. Even in an event with 50 tables and 500 guests, all dishes were served fresh and hot in the correct sequence to all tables within 5 to 10 minutes. They have a private room where they will cater to smaller parties with only 1 or 2 tables. BYOB and just tip the waiters, no corkage fee. This is a very nice, economical place with authentic, tasty, healthy Mandarin cuisine to take your family and wrap leftovers to go. Worth it!
Panda Express
PE is an American Chinese fast food chain serving an assortment of dishes such as cream cheese rangoons, spring rolls, chow mein noodles, steamed vegetables, fried rice, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and broccoli beef. I love their eggplant tofu but I haven't been able to find it offered at any PE locations recently 😔 This Panda Express is inside Vons, right next to the sandwich and deli counter. Service is always unfriendly and they close early at 8pm compared to other Panda Express locations. They are also sometimes out of certain dishes depending on the time. That said, we come here from time to time as it's so convenient to grab dinner after grocery shopping in the evenings lol 🐼 💡 Don't come here after 7:30pm - they will be out of everything like the pic!
whenever i normally eat at this panda express i'm fine but yesterday i got the broccoli beef and now i have the worst food poisoning.
Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors
Food is 100%. Perfect. 5 stars best fast food you can get. I travel to CA only once a year and pick up stix is the first thing I think of every time I’m here. Service and atmosphere are mediocre but nothing that’s significant (they don’t give you utensils or napkins unless you ask and they aren’t even available to grab yourself). I will continue to eat here as often as I can justify for the rest of my life. I’ve been trying to replicate their house special chicken for years and can’t do it.
Hi everyone 👋 I bought 2 plates, for me and my fiancé. Firecracker chicken and honey chicken. Food was not ok, rice was completely overcooked, texture was way to softy. Rice have to be Al’dente no purée like mashed potato. Probably someone’s can’t cook rice or they not selling a lot of food and rice staying too long in rice cooker. Chicken was hard to bite. To be honest, I ate way more better Pick up Stix than this one. Even people working here don’t care about job. No forks in bag, no napkins, they put my food to go, I ordered EAT IN. I will give them another chance, because everyone deserve for second chance. Place was clean because was empty so nobody make it messy. For now barely two stars ⭐️⭐️
