Panda Express
Panda is one of the best places to feed your family. The price is amazing for the amount of food you get. I can spend $40 on a family meal, (2 large sides, 3 large entrees) and feed 2 adults and 3 kids. And i have leftovers for 2. There aren’t any other places that give you that much quantity of filling food. And the food is always delicious.
We enjoyed a lunch combo at Panda Express with Kung Pao Chicken, Chow Mein, Fried Rice, Mushroom Chicken, and Veg Spring Rolls. The Kung Pao had a nice spice, and the Mushroom Chicken was tender and flavorful. The Chow Mein and Fried Rice were well-cooked and satisfying, while the spring rolls added a crunchy touch. A solid, tasty lunch!
Yummy House
My husband wanted sushi and word of mouth was this is a great place to try . The food was so fresh . The staff was attentive and friendly.there was plenty of seating and the restaurant was very clean .
Food is okay, egg roll is no awe factor it’s more less a bland filler, same goes for the general tso chicken… sauce is bit on the runny side, and chicken has a weird taste… could use some seasoning on the batter that may help with this. Fried rice? Well it’s no wow factor either, Soy sauce and a hint of fried egg… could use some actual ingredients even for “lunch” menu. Service is alright, and atmosphere surprisingly pops out at you when you walk in… Take this review with a grain of salt, some of y’all may not know what really good Chinese Food is… this may be the only thing you’re exposed to. I eat at a lot of different Asian spots all around, not just Northwest Arkansas.
Rainbow House Asian Bistro
So the place was clean, I can say that. Everything else was disappointing. Allow me to explain…check out the pan fried dumplings from the deep fryer, look at the kung pao shrimp with pineapple and button mushrooms- no chilies! egg foo young with packet gravy…hot and sour soup (flavorless) with egg strands, tofu, cabbage and more button mushrooms. Everything had bagged frozen peas and carrots- except the fried rice, where it should be. No soy sauce, hot mustard or duck sauce for eggs rolls. The egg rolls were the best thing we had. Just super disappointing all around, definitely won’t be back- that was fifty bucks.
We decided to give them another try after not having been in 6 yrs because the food wasn’t as good as it used to be. In their first few years the food was great! It was our favorite place to go but it had gone down hill. We kept hearing people say how good it was so we decided to give it another try after all this time. Big mistake. We got the General Taos Chicken and Cashew Chicken combo plates. The egg rolls were total mush and smelled terrible. Both our main dishes stunk and tasted terrible. The chicken was greasy and overcooked so it was hard, almost like it was old and recooked. The sauces were awful, the peas in the fried rice were dried hard, and the cashew chicken was a good 75% diced carrots. The scent of all of it was strong and gross and very hard to get past. It was so awful we couldn’t eat it. We tried to suffer through because it was our supper and we had paid good money for it. We couldn’t do it. It was that bad. And we aren’t overly picky people. We can usually suck it up if something isn’t up to par and isn’t spoiled. We got it as take out so our house absolutely wreaks from how bad the food smelled after we opened the containers and the food isn’t even in here anymore. The smell was so bad we sealed it all up and took it outside and put in the shop fridge until we can dispose of it. I’m sad to say it is far worse than when we quit eating there 6 yrs ago. We will not ever go back. I am struggling to understand how anyone could pick this as their favorite or recommended them as being great. I hate leaving this kind of review and try to leave positive ones every chance I get but I feel honest reviews are needed especially now when money is tight for so many and eating out is a treat. People need to be able to see honest reviews before deciding where to choose to spend their hard earned money. And there is also the hope that such reviews can help the restaurant take the necessary steps to improve. They don’t know what’s wrong if people don’t share their experiences.
Lin's Garden
I tasted a little bit of everything, except shrimp (can't abide it), and I was impressed. Everything was flavorful and it was decidely my favorite Chinese restaurant I have been to. The food was all warm and fresh when I went. There are some foods that children would enjoy, but if your kids don't like Chinese, they probably would not enjoy this restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful as well, each table has a unique design and the whole restaurant is really beautiful. The server was super friendly as well. Some points of note. For starters, it is a buffet. It is $14.99 for weekdays (I went on a weekday) and $19.99 for weekends (more options for food). Second point of note. There are quite a few gluten-free options. If it is a serious allergy, it might not work because the gluten-free entrees are next to not gluten-free.
Used to love to eat here but not any more. The last couple of years the food is worse than the time before, barely warm and certainly not hot. Lower quality of ingredients too. Was there for over an hour and never offered a refill on our empty drinks. No desire to ever eat there again.
Golden Dragon Buffet
Okay so first of all I went in with a friend. I have a very calm and well-mannered guide dog and my friend was on crutches. The restaurant was about half full. They put us all the way in the farthest back corner. What a chore for my friend! Then the server came and told me I should leave my dog at the table because someone might be afraid. I told him it's not my responsibility if someone else is afraid of a well-mannered, well groomed, and well trained service animal. I did choose to leave her at the table because this is my habit. Now the food. The cold food was warm and the supposedly warm food was cold. Food in Arkansas is supposed to be at $135° if it's a hot food. This food was not even mouth temperature in my gas is it was maybe only slightly above room temperature. This is a danger to people! The service was basically non-existent and we were positioned where the staff typically clustered so they could keep an eye on us. I know when I'm being watched. We didn't do anything that should have created a problem but we were certainly treated a second class citizens. Also they're supposed to have sushi and they don't or at least they didn't on that day. if I could give this place negative stars, I would. Please for the sake of your family I would recommend you don't eat here because unless they really fix their food temperature, you might have problems.
I was really blown away by the selection and how they had their buffet set up. All delicious and prices weren’t bad either!
Dragon City
We just placed an order tonight, and everything was perfect until we got home. We were missing an order of spring rolls, and some white rice. Called to see if we could pick it up real quick and the guy was trying to charge us.. and we had already paid for it. He literally freaked out on me and my boyfriend over white rice and an order of spring rolls that we paid for…. I’m just flabbergasted we come here all the time with no issues and the way this guy was behaving on the phone acting as if we were dumb and didn’t understand him when he even read the order back to us and we pointed out that he said everything we had and that we were missing on our receipt, and it just just wild. Makes no sense. Terrible experience and terrible service. July 27th, 2024 5:20pm. And burnt fortune cookies. 😔
I called and to place a order the gentleman on the phone asked pick up or delivery I said delivery he asked the address I gave the gentleman my address he said he couldn’t deliver at this address we had to meet at dollar general I said sir they always deliver my husband had gotten on the phone and told him the same thing the gentleman said did you hear what I said very rudely the gentleman was told the owner always delivers to our house the gentleman said did you hear what I said!! Needless to say a order was not placed we have spent a lot of money at this establishment and we love the food at Dragon city but whoever is taking there orders on Friday evening 4-18-24 definitely needs to go to customer service training because if this gentleman has talked to us this way no telling how he has he treated others I understand we all have our days but this gentleman was just simply down right rude!!!
Hibachi Grill Buffet
I come here about once every 5 years to give an honest review. it's been about 8 years since my last visit and sad to say that the food is just about as bad as Chinese buffets can be. The hot and sour soup was one of the few dishes I enjoyed. The won tons, egg rolls, and fried shrimp were among the very few dishes that were at least edible . The salmon was fishy and terrible. The rice was very dry and clumpy which is a very strange combination of bad. The fried fish was very strong pungent taste and very bad. The general tsous chicken was soggy and the worst I've ever had. Walmart does a much better version In the deli and even Panda Express is gourmet in comparison. The only saving Grace at this restaurant was the excellent and friendly service of the mid aged Asian lady who waited on me . She was kind and made this experience somewhat tolerable. I was hoping the food had improved after all the years but sad to say it's gotten worse over the years.
The lo mein wasn't done. The rice was crunchy, the beef and brocolli was cold. The staff was rude. The fried shrimp.was good tho. That's about all the good I can say. Used to love this place. But $45 (2ppl)for that kind of food won't happen again.
China Buffet
Excellent selection of different entries. I dropped one star because it didn't seem that the food was hot enough in the trays. There certainly was no worries about burning my mouth on anything. Other than that I enjoyed the choices. One pleasant surprise was the dessert bar. The selection far surpassed many buffets I've been to. Ice cream came in a cup instead of a normal ice cream machine which would have been better. The attendant was very attentive to remove the used dishes and refills of my drink. I will likely return someday.
While enjoying a family lunch. I discovered a piece of metal in my chicken on a stick. I immediately informed the staff who promptly handled the situation. Their politeness an kindness is above an beyond. I will always enjoy eating here. And I will forever continue to recommend friends an family to come here.
Hong Kong
The food was excellent!! First time here since being in Jonesboro. Will DEFINITELY go back!
$50+ for some Severely overcooked lo mein noodles, rice with no flavor, and Chicken on a stick that tasted like it sat out all day.
Pavilion Buffet
Awful. Food was old at 7:30, asked for fresh food, and was given an attitude with no as the response. They would not freshen, and before we were even done, we had a rude waitress stand at the table and wait for us to sign. I finished but she hovered the whole time. Food was old cold and not worth 15.00 for a plate of food 😕 health department needs to check on these people! Don't eat here it's just awful!!
I would only recommend this establishment during peak hours. I went an hour and a half before closing and they would not replenish the buffet. Even with multiple empty pans and over a dozen people still in the restaurant. Tonight I paid $20 to eat a cup of soup and 2 cold crab Rangoon. Everything else was picked over, dried out, or gone. What’s worse is they told me no more food was coming out and were still seating guests, knowing they were out of most everything. This is not the first time so I guess it’s my fault for going back.
Panda Express
Waited over an hour in the drive thru line and tried to go inside but for some reason they closed by 9:45 when they close at 10:30. This establishment has been awful in terms of food, service, and pretty much everything. Definitely needs a change in management! Also at 10:00 PM no fried rice, no chow mein, and out of 5-6 other items as well. Do better…
The atmosphere was fantastic and the employees seemed to really be having fun at their job. The food was good too, although I found a piece of plastic or melted glue in my food. Thought about saying something, but they seemed busy, and I wanted to go home.
Paper Lantern
The workers are so slow and take take their time they don’t care how long you have to wait it always takes like 30 mins to wait in line when it should be a fast and easy line
Food was overly salty. Kung Pao Chicken was almost too spicy to eat. They charge extra for beef and broccoli even though it doesn't say that on the sign.
