Cantonese House Chinese Restaurant
A quaint little gem tucked away in Union Grove! If you are looking for a great Chinese food experience then look no further! A definite must when passing tru town! The owner was very friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic! Great portion sizes and appearance. Highly recommend!!
I rarely eat Chinese as I'm just not a big fan (not my go to food) so when I was craving it this weekend, my daughter and I ordered from here. I love sweet and sour chicken and most Chinese places do not put veggies or pineapple or anything in their sweet and sour sauces anymore. Cantonese House had pineapple, peppers, and onion in the sauce. It was so good. My daughter got the spicy lo-mein and she enjoyed it, but will get hotter next time ;) I also ordered an egg roll and Teriyaki Chicken and both were fantastic. I'm picky about my egg rolls and the egg roll was delicious! Will be eating here again.
Plenty of Clouds
I was interested in the special menu. I liked the eggplant’s unique taste and the grandma potato, but they were a bit expensive. Sadly, the spicy chicken didn’t turn out well. Cutting it into cubes didn’t make the texture better or add more flavor—it just felt strange. The chicken also had a weird smell. Overall, not a good place if you want authentic Chinese food.
This place was great! I thoroughly enjoyed this place. Every dish was tasty, good spice level and flavorful. If I had to comment, I would add a touch more salt and also a jar of spicy chili oil on the table would be a nice option. The twice cooked pork was my favorite, the pork fried rice was good but not my favorite, the yibin burning noodles were also pretty good but could use the spicy chili oil and the cucumber dish was one of my favorite versions I’ve had. The service was also great. She was super helpful in choosing dishes and very attentive. Atmosphere wise it was nice and relaxing but I do wish it was a tad bit less smokier. A little more ventilation would be nice but otherwise it was great. I’ll definitely be going back.
Panda Inn Restaurant
This is one of the few places I feel like we get our actual moneys worth. The service was wonderful and food was excellent. Booth was big enough that 2 people per side weren't knocking elbows trying to eat. Tea was complimentary and tasty.
Truly such a good restaurant. Their plates and cups are even the cutest! The waitress we had was kind, patient, and the food came fast. She even checked on us several times. Special experience for my daughter’s first sit down Chinese restaurant.
Taste of Sichuan (Palace Sichuan)
Mostly a good experience. We ordered several things to share family style. The food came quickly and the service was very good. The fried appetizers however tasted a bit burned like the oil was old or too hot. Everything else was very tasty and no issues. The prices are a tad on the higher side but the serving sizes were large. We left with plenty to go and satisfied.
I always forget this place exists. Today was my first time trying it! My fiancé and I were the only ones in there on a Saturday at 2pm. Our server was amazing, filled our water when it was low, gave us an extra spoon to share the wonton soup & extra napkins when needed. The food was delicious & everything is made without GMO’s too. We mentioned it was our first time visiting and we’re giving complimentary egg flour soup. Definitely will be back!!
