Hong Anh Palace
We have been going to Hong Anh for many years. The people who own it are such kind people, endlessly patient with everyone. Their take out is so popular that you have to plan hours ahead when ordering. Not a problem for us!! It's worth the wait!! My husband grew up in NYC, and he absolutely loves the Hot and Sour soup. Our one daughter, who is now vegan, very much likes their tofu substitution. There is truly something for everyone here.
I wanted a nice Chinese buffet lunch. I looked up this restaurant that I used to visit frequently. Google map information stated there would be a lunch buffet. There is NO LUNCH BUFFET. This information should be updated. I was disappointed but decided to eat anyway. I think they’re only open from 11 to 2 for dine in. A sign on the door said take out only (at certain times). I ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup ($3.50) and the mixed appetizer plate ($10). The soup was okay but not great. It was a small cup of soup and I thought it wasn’t much considering the 3.50 price. It had plenty of tofu and bamboo shoots but not much meat, though there was some. The flavor was not balanced either; it was needed more of the vinegar flavor. The appetizer platter was excellent. The egg roll was huge and stuffed full of various ingredients including tiny shrimp. It was hot and crunchy outside. The wontons were fried perfectly and were also very tasty. The beef skewer was average. It didn’t have much flavor and was not tender. The shrimp was shaped into a circle and at first I thought it was an onion ring. The chicken was a nice piece of chicken breast but it had too much breading on it for my taste. Five stars for this dish. The appetizer platter was served with small pitchers of duck sauce and spicy mustard sauce. I drank water and the wait staff did a pretty good job keeping my glass full. I could have had a few more refills but I understand they’ve got a lot to do. For some reason I didn’t have any napkins at my table, just the silverware. I had to request napkins.
Dragon Gourmet
Every single visit to this restaurant has been a truly exceptional experience. The food is consistently mouthwatering, with every dish bursting with flavor and made to perfection. But what truly sets this place apart is the level of care and attention the staff gives to each and every guest. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine warmth, and they always go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is flawless. The staff is attentive, thoughtful, and makes sure that you’re taken care of without ever rushing you, no matter how busy it gets. The restaurant is always fully stocked, and they proactively communicate if anything is unavailable, which is done with sincere apologies and a helpful alternative. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, making you feel like a valued guest from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place that nails both incredible food and top-tier service—this one definitely does, and it’s our go-to spot for an unforgettable dining experience every time.
Sweet and sour chicken (order to go) has always been excellent, but this time, some chicken pieces were very chewy, and we couldn't finish. We threw out about half of this order. We will try ordering again. Hopefully, it will be better next time. We have been ordering here for years, and the quality has always been good.
Spring Garden
We consider Spring Garden a take-out restaurant. There are a few tables but no table service (very small space). It's certainly not "5 star dining" but we've never had any issues and we think it's a good value for the money. I especially like the pan fried or steamed dumplings. Nice people. Our last time there they gave us a complimentary quart of egg drop soup. The photos included are General Tso's Chicken, Small Beef w/ broccoli, Fried Dumplings, one egg roll, one spring roll and egg drop soup.
Am beyond impressed with the quality and quality of the food for the price. Tasted fresh! Excellent service as well and very polite staff. Very prompt service as well, was in and out in no time at all.
Great China Restaurant
I ordered appetizers. The place wasn't busy. The pictures don't match the food. The eggrolls have a nice filling but too much wrapper. The pork wontons were tasty. The crab rangoon were greasy with no flavor.
I have been to alot of Chinese places. This is our 1st time here. You can eat in which is nice. About maybe 6 tables so nothing crazy but quaint. They give us table service which I thought was awesome!!! Especially at a take out place. Very clean and comfortable. Now we get to the food. The crab ragoon was big!! Fried fresh and brought to us!! Had a nice cheesy bit to it, not over powering but definitely noticeable which gave it good flavor. I ordered the lunch specially chicken and garlic sauce. I like the free drink offer with the lunch. Now everyone does lunch a little different. For me personally the pork fried rice that came with the meal could have had some egg in it, maybe a little carrot. It was good but eh not the greatest. All in all 4.9 for me and my traveling family!! It's right off the hwy so a spot we will be back too!!
China King Chinese Restaurant: Take Out
It was my first time there and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with what to order. We tried the crab, cream cheese wontons and hot/spicy beef. The food exceeded our expectations.
Wow! Shrimp in the egg foo young was huge. The chicken fried rice was awsome too. It had plenty of chicken. In my personal opinion, it all needed m.s.g. I understand that other people wouldn't want it. I'd recommend this place. Can't wait to try another meal.
