I just recently started working in the Mount Pleasant area this year and my coworker put me on to China House, specifically lunch specials. I have to admit that I have made this my go-to place for lunch at work. For the price. You literally cannot beat it. The egg roll that they serve is the biggest and best I've had at a little Chinese shop like this. Every plate I've had was solid. If you were looking for a filling quick inexpensive meal, look no further. Also, the girl that handles all the orders and takeouts is very, very kind and very sweet. I'll always support a business like this one, seems to be a family owned and operated business.

Food always hot, great tasting choices and reasonable prices. Order always correct & on time. Owner very personable and loved that the children in family are so friendly when on premise. One of my very favorite Chinese restaurants! šŸ˜

A very good dish is, the General Tso's Chicken šŸ”, shrimp šŸ¤ lo mein, šŸ˜‹ a bowl of fresh mixed vegetables and a shrimp roll. For those of you that prefer a spicy kick to your Tso's chicken, might I recommend the Dragon šŸ‰ and Phoenix dish. I will say I've tasted several dishes, normally all delicious, and priced reasonably. I personally will be tasting several more through time. As far as the service goes, very nice in my experience. As far as atmosphere it reminds me of if you were to go eat Chinese in the city, Some holes in the wall 🧱 are recommended and you experience friendliness and good quality food. It's worth it in my opinion. I've been to nice locations without as friendly people or service or quality taste as here. Thank you -Maurice-

Excellent Chinese food with great prices... I stumbled across this place after getting my hair done at David's hair salon (which by the way is a wonderful place to go to) ... This little Chinese place was around the corner so I decided to give it a try.. I was not disappointed with the price or the food.. they're very friendly, food was good & btw crab won ton (outta this world šŸ˜‰) .. I've returned here once & also had a positive experience.

FOOD (5 Stars) Exceptional Chinese food. Everything was perfectly prepared, large portions and plenty to choose from. The staff was constantly bringing fresh piping hot food to the buffet. Yes we took advantage of the lunch buffet which was suggested we try and we are glad we did. SERVICE (5 Stars) Outstanding, the entire staff was over the top friendly and pleasant. ATMOSPHERE (4 Stars) The restaurant was clean and tidy, but typical Chinese restaurant look, nothing different or out of the ordinary from what you would typically expect. SUMMARY What sets is apart from other Chinese restaurants is friendly staff and exceptional food. You get this at a great price of $11.99 for the lunch buffet.

At China Buffet the food was delicious. Service was good. The best thing here is probably the egg rolls. They were the best egg rolls I've ever had.

Great Chinese restaurant. First time here, we placed a big order and they had it done before 15 minutes was up. I asked for white sauce as that's less sugar and no msg, as I'm allergic to it. Next time we're in town I will come here again. If you long for something with a variety of veggies, this is a great place to satisfy your taste buds.

1st time visit. Choose this restaurant based on other reviews. Ordered in store took less than 10 minutes. They took the time to answer my questions about a bamboo plant in detail. Clean restrooms! And a great Chinese calendar for 2025. Would definitely return again

Really enjoyed lunch. Andrea was wonderful. Thai salad good. Shared a small, and that was plenty. The Kung Pao shrimp and teriyaki chicken were great flavors. Very good portions. Going to have it tomorrow. Desserts were smooth and nice. Just missed not having regular coffee to have with the dessert. Definitely will return to try some other options.

I came in from California and decided to eat here for dinner. It is a beautiful restaurant. I got the chicken lettuce wrap and steak entree. Everything was amazing from the seasoning to the sauce. I did not wait long for my order. This location is better than the PF Chang’s I’ve had in California!!!

the food was great and steamy! the staff were on point and got everything we needed out quick and correct! will be going back!

When the entire Town was shut down from 6" of sleet, and all grocery stores and restaurants closed, Golden Bowl remained open and served their community. You should support this business for that alone. Also, try the Mongolian Beef, it's very good.

We love Noodles and Company… but this time it was different. Both our main dishes were dry. There was no sauce. The best part was the chicken on my wife’s Penne Rosa and the meatballs on my Pesto Cavatappi. The side Caesar salad was the tiny! The good news is… the Mexican Cokes were delicious! We will give them another chance, but this time it was disappointing.

I had the cajun shrimp pasta, and it was good. My husband had the creamy garlic tortellini, and it was good. Friendly service.

It’s your typical Chinese restaurant. I was sad that they didn’t have Pad Thai, but the sweet and sour chicken was good! My husband loved their General Tso’s. The egg roll was good, it doesn’t taste like what I’m used to. I’m from a different state so I’m used to my usual place I go to. My daughter was upset and the one guy gave her a cup that lights up. Overall, we were happy and would return next time we’re in town.

I work at the publix in the same shopping center, and come here to eat on occasion. Whenever I come in and order, its always clean and the good comes out relatively quick while also being freshly cooked. I wish some of the items would have a bit more flavor to them, but otherwise it is well worth the money

This is the typical Chinese food you’ll find in the North East. The other places I’ve tried down here all I can taste is sugar but here you actually get some flavor and heat. We’ve had the Mongolian chicken which I enjoy, the general Tao’s chicken which people seem to really like, and the kung pao chicken also came out nicely. Portion sizes are generous, prices are good. Service is no nonsense and quick because of it. It is definitely our go to spot for Chinese take out, not really a sit down place tho

COUNT ON IT! This place is great. Not because it’s the worlds best version of Chinese food. It’s takeout Chinese food, but at the top end of that category of Chinese. Where they truly excel is at ALWAYS getting the order exactly right and ALWAYS being fast. When you need a lot of food right now, you can count on this place. And when you call in your order, you better already be in the car on your way there when you do. Their kitchen is so fast it could probably play ping pong by itself.

**Review for Flaming Wok** I recently visited Flaming Wok, a Chinese restaurant located at 730 Coleman Blvd, and had a very disappointing experience. The restaurant is owned by a white woman who was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I called to place an order, I had a few questions about their menu. Instead of addressing my concerns, the owner put me on hold without informing me and handed the phone to someone else out of apparent frustration. When I arrived at the restaurant, I tried to explain that I didn’t mean to be a bother and was just asking questions. Instead of understanding, she began yelling at me, demanding that I either place an order or leave because she had bills to pay. The worker who took over the call was very apologetic, but it was clear that he was under her directive. The owner made it clear that she didn’t care about customer service. As a customer, I felt that her behavior was biased, if not outright racist. It seemed that she felt she could get away with this behavior towards black customers, as I believe she would have treated me differently if I were a white male. I do not recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant if you support respectful and courteous service. My experience was highly unpleasant, and I believe no customer should be treated in such a manner.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at ANY restaurant. My husband ordered ahead and picked up the food. When we opened the food at home (less than 5 minutes away) we noticed that the fried rice was floating in a dark burnt oil. You could smell the old grease as soon as you opened the container. My egg roll had spoiled and they still fried it up and served it to us. This was unacceptable (especially after spending almost 40 dollars on food for two people). I went back to the restaurant to show them the food was spoiled and inedible. I noticed a young girl, maybe 5 years old, running around the kitchen while the stove and fryer were running. The male owner immediately started yelling at me and throwing food across the counter. He berated the woman working there telling her ā€œgoto the back with the children, you don’t speak to anyone elseā€. He continued to yell at me and the woman joined in. My husband arrived and the owner had a different tone of voice. I asked why he wouldn’t yell at him but would yell at me. He lied to my husband (who was on the phone the entire time) stating I ā€œgot in his faceā€. Things got so bad that i called 911 to deescalate the situation because the man began to make racial and sexist comments towards us such as ā€œyou people don’t know anything about Chinese foodā€ and ā€œyou’re just a woman what would you knowā€. When the police arrived we explained the situation and they agreed that they were in the wrong and informed us to contact the health department and the BBB, which we did as soon as we left the restaurant. Long story long: DO NOT EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! They are RACIST AND SEXIST! And they will sell you SPOILED AND EXPIRED FOOD! There is no cleanliness or fresh food!

Great Chinese food, and I like the many options they have for meals. I ordered the cashew shrimp, and it was served with a side of fried rice and a pork egg roll. And, of course, a fortune cookie!! The shrimp were huge, and I felt there were plenty for the size of the meal. The food was not greasy or salty and tasted fresh. There is indoor seating available. A variety of items on the menu with weekday lunch specials.

The food is consistent, hot and quick. In the year that I've been eating there, I've only had one issue and it was my fault and they still offered to assist me. Very convenient if you order online before pickup.

Ordered take out for lunch. The hibachi chicken teriyaki was flavorful but unfortunately the sushi was not. The spicy tuna roll is a mush of tuna and filler ingredients. Doesn't taste like fresh sushi at all and it had way too much rice. The spicy salmon roll was fresh but dry and no flavor. The Naruto roll was as expected. Probably not going back for sushi but the hibachi is worth a second try. The lunch wait wasn't long. Expect a 3.5% increase on credit cards. The service, hospitality was lacking. In a convenient area next to a public grocery store. Plenty of parking.

We've been ordering from here for years, and love their food, but every time in recent memory, our order has had food missing. This wouldn't normally be an issue if it were once or twice, but it has been every single order. The staff are always more than helpful with telling us we're able to come back and pick up anything missing, but there should be some sort of check the staff do prior to me leaving the restaurant.
