Slurp Ramen
Grabbed lunch here today and was very happy. I had the chicken karaage rice bowl + pork bun, my friend had the smooth ramen + edamame. His broth was great, my chicken was perfectly crispy, and the pork bun? Exquisite. Staff was really friendly and we didn't have to wait long for food.
Nice spot in a shopping center with parking in front. The soy sauce ramen with fried chicken tasted average. The soup base was watery & not much texture as a Ramen soup should be. Our group of 10 rode 52 rides from Lake Success to indulge in a bowl of ramen. Majority opinion was good or average, not great. Our high expectations fell short today. Likely need to try a different dish on future visit to be fair.
Noble Nori
We came with my family to this place to try baked rolls and it was an incredible pleasure, since we always ate these baked rolls in our city. We really missed this in New York, so we came here specifically for this, it was very tasty and I would come back to this place all the time.
Wow! I was very pleased that I chanced upon this spot. First off, the customer service is impeccable, makes you feel at home and welcome. So authentic and original. Pretty fair prices too! It's so unique. The menu is not your typical sushi menu, in a great way! Very cool selection. And most of all... the food is absolutely delicious! Definitely recommended!
Welcome Chinese Restaurant
I do NOT recommend this place. The restaurant smell like strong cigarettes. I asked a few people who were walking in how was the food and they all responded that the food was ‘okay’ . But once I ordered the food I tasted it at the restaurant and it was completely nasty. Words can not explain. But the man at the counter was nice enough to refund me my full amount paid.
First person anwserd hard to understand. I asked if Lee is around! No but his wife comes to the phone. She takes my order. 30 minutes later Lee is here to deliver! $ 65 plus Tip! Thanks Mr. & Mrs. LEE!
China Wok
China wok is disgusting and over priced! I got the General Tso chicken with an egg roll and pork fried rice. They messed up the order first and foremost. The general tso picture on the menu showed tons of broccoli when we got the meal it had 2 little pieces. The rice was steamed no eggs no flavor and dyed yellow with peas no carrots. My fiance got the sweet and sour chicken an crab ragoons. It might as well been chicken nuggets breaded with tempura and the crab ragoons was disgusting. Bugs galore on the window seal. Please do yourself and save your self $50 dollars. After spending a week in the hospital for my daughters birth i was looking for a good meal. i am highly disappointed in china wok it is so disgusting and to top it off the cashier was too busy on her phone than to take the order correctly.
I do not recommend this place at all! I usually go to Great Wall in council bluffs (that place has been my favorite for years), but it was a Sunday and they closed early so I thought I'd give another place a shot. We'll I chose the wrong place. I ordered pork fried rice with extra egg and when I got home to eat.. I notice I had egg shell in my food and I pulled it out and tried to enjoy the food, but then noticed a piece of lettuce. There should not be no lettuce in pork fried rice. All these years I've ordered it I have never had lettuce in it. I am so disappointed, I couldn't even eat more than 5 bites of what I ordered. Don't waste your time or money on this restaurant. Another complaint I should add is the fried rice is yellow and the pork is definitely not the real deal.
Fortune Garden
I walked into this small town local Chinese restaurant. The family owned business is clean and their service is very friendly ! I ordered a Wonton soup, some crab rangoon, sesame chicken and everything was fresh and made in a timely fashion. The staff is very kind the family works very hard to keep their customers happy. I really had a great time taking to the kids while I enjoyed my meal. Hopefully I'll come back to visit one day.
The quality of the food is pretty bad. Ordered General Tso chicken and it looked like the crumbs at the bottom of a chicken tender bag. When bitten into couldn’t taste chicken. Felt like fried chicken skin. The sauce had no flavor and very oily. Would not recommend this location
Happy Wok
I ordered chicken and beef fried rice with no peas I get home and start making my granddaughters plate and they said it was peas in it they like peas but I don’t I start to eat and found a pea in mines as well. I called and told them that it was peas in it and that I had taken a picture of it and she said send her the picture but at this point I didn’t even bother because I was so over it . This will never happen again because I won’t buy anything else from them again
I ordered a bunch of food to feed our family and got it super fast (25 minute faster than they said it would arrive) which was not what we wanted this time. I needed it at 6, but it arrived at 5:35 so had to shlep it in the oven to keep it warm. Not sure what the estimated time is for if it's that far off. ordered a ton of food and it was, unfortunately, very bland. Everything was cooked ok, just not flavorful. Disappointed for sure as we've ordered from them before and it was fine....for this type of food. The fried rice was simply seasoned (with soy sauce?) rice - no vegetables at all which I was surprised by. I've never had plain fried rice without at least peas and carrots. Seems the food has gone downhill from last time I ordered over a year ago.
CHOPSTICKS HOUSE
Portions were great and they have huge egg rolls.
Ate there Saturday. Went drive through. The service was good. Got home bit into egg roll hard particle was inside. Tried to dismiss it as possibly fried to hard. Tried again same thing. Threw it away. Got plain fried rice. Ate 2 bites and had to throw up. Threw it away. I bought my daughter the General Tso's chicken. She said it wasn't done. I normally don't get this experience at Chopsticks but I'll never go back. The service was good and I guess the atmosphere was typical for fast food establishment.
Happy dragon
Food was Delicious hot and Served with Perfection. I had the Shrimp Egg Foo Young my Favorite Chinese Dish. I'll be back again Thank you ❤️ A very Happy Customer!!!
Ordered shrimp lo mein spicy. Not only was my lo mein not spicy. The lady tried to argue with me they did put spicy sauce. I will not spend another dollar with this establishment. Sincerely a pissed off customer😡😡😡
Teriyaki House
RUDE RUDE RUDE! I placed this order on Uber eats and specifically wrote notes to the restaurant stating that I do not want tobiko (THE RESTAURANT PUT EXTRA 😒) I also said no eel (they still threw it on there anyways) I just don't understand why I'm getting an attitude from the lady that answered the phone when I mentioned my concerns to her. Yelling at a customer because you can't understand what the word “NO” means is not appropriate. Thanks for ruining my freaking dinner. They told me to drive there and they'll give me new ones but why would I do that when I had this delivered and paid all these fees? DO BETTER!
The food came to us hot and fast. That is about the best I can say. The fried rice was literally white rice with soy sauce and was the most flavorful things we had. The one packet of sit sauce they included didn't make up for the blandness of everything we ordered. Since we are in a hotel room and never saw the inside of the place, I cannot speak for atmosphere, but had to choose a rating.
Hy-Vee Chinese
I waited for almost ten minutes to order food without interaction. There were three people behind the counter trying not to make eye contact with customers. One employee was entirely consumed by a single breadstick slowly rolling through the pizza oven. Another lady was lazily stirring soup or something on the oven with her back to the customers. A third employee was stocking containers for the buffet. After waiting about ten minutes, the soup lady asked me if I had been helped yet. When I said “No”, she said that she’d help me in a minute and went back to stirring soup. Four minutes later of waiting and I just left. Save your time and get better Chinese food across the street 🙄. Pay your employees better or hire people that can do the bare minimum, at least.
Worst rangoons I’ve ever had sooooo stale. Old, mushy entrees. Just unappetizing, go to China Wok across the street, you won’t regret that!!
Curry Club at SaGhar
A few years ago, before this restaurant moved, it was one of, if not my favorite restaurants on the Island, and by all accounts my favorite Indian restaurant on the Island. Since moving, they've only managed to improve the quality and variety of dishes on offer from all regions of India, and have an adept and knowledgeable staff capable of guiding towards something new if you don't often eat Indian cuisine. Carolynn and Nick ensured that our dining experience was great, and the food was as good as ever, if not better. There's nothing on the menu not worth trying, so this definitely won't be our last time here. Definitely ask for a Mango Lassi, you won't regret it.
On the positive side - we were seated promptly, liked the decor, staff was friendly and Lamb jhalfrezi was tasty. On the negative side - Keema (ground beef) in the dosa was too chunky and lacked flavor, chili chicken was more like Panda Express or some fast food twist on sweet and sour chicken, butter chicken and kadai chicken were so so. Over-priced fare with mediocre taste at best. One of our only lower than average experience in the area.
