Bamboo | Authentic Laotian & Thai Cuisine
First time trying this establishment and I’m not surprised that it it is rated over 4 stars. The interior a very simple set up, but the food did not disappoint. Service was a little slow, but the woman who waited on us was very kind and attentive. It seemed there were a number of carry out orders the small staff was juggling. We ordered spring rolls, esaan sausage for appetizers and a red curry and beef pad see ew for entrees. We ordered mild, red curry still had a kick! Noodles were a nice balance of sweet and savory. The dishes were all fresh and made to order. We already recommended it to friends, and we Will definitely be back.
I ordered the pad thai and the potstickers. The pad thai was ok as well as the potstickers I dont have much to say about them. They were decent, not the worst but there are better places.
PK Palace of Silver City
Very good pho place. They have $10 pho on Sunday and Mondays. One of the best deals in town. Very good broth and nice portions. Their special dish is the pork nugget. Worth trying it. And also worth trying the chicken feet (called phoenix wings). The place also has a meeting room you can reserve and karaoke rooms.
We went on a Friday night close to 9pm. We drove pass the place because we didn’t see a sign. They should get a big sign or something near the street. It wasn’t too busy when we got there. Service was fast. Menu is small but the food was good. It’s Hmong food. Much of the food we ordered had laab seasoning which is fine with me but others may not like that kind of taste. They should offer more variety flavor of wings. Drinks wasn’t too expensive. It’s a pretty big place. They had a DJ there with a big dance floor. They have karaoke rooms. We’d come back again.
Sze Chuan Restaurant
It was our first time came to this restaurant, and their lady was so mean to our. We asked for some recommendations and they were so cold to us and said there’s nothing to recommend and left. We ordered the noodles that are very common, they made it taste weird. We wonder if we can get this refund or exchange to differently dashes. They were so rude to us and refused to do anything. As you can see the picture, it meant to be clear broth but they made it with soy sauce. This is a very obvious mistake. I can be sure as a native Chinese that this restaurant is not legit. Not recommend at all.
This is my top-rated Asian restaurant, and I can't count how many times I've been here. I've recommended it to many friends, family members, and even people from out of town. Whenever we host or eat with groups, we always come here. I've tried so many of their dishes, and I've never been disappointed. If you want authentic Asian food, not the Americanized version, this is the place to go. If you want my dish recommendations, here are a few favorites I always order: * 013 Beef Tendon in Chili Sauce (麻辣牛筋) * 049 Braised Pork Belly (糯香红烧肉) * Kung Pao Chicken (宮保雞) * Salted Fried Fish * Mapo Tofu or Tofu Stone Pot Most of their appetizers are also delicious, and they serve the food very quickly. If you can't eat spicy food, I recommend asking before you order. Some dishes are spicier than what you might find at most American Asian food restaurants. For example, the Mongolian Beef is spicier than usual.
Vientiane Noodle Shop of Silver City
This place never misses. My favorite day off lunch spot by far. Get the fried sausage and the bahn seo as appetizers. All the noodle dishes are amazing.
I am on a mission to find the best pho. I've tried 6 different places so far and this ranks number 1! I love this place. I love the people who work here. The papaya salad, crab rangoon and pho are my faves!
Siam Thai
To put it short, this place is awesome! This modest Thai restaurant is a little gem hidden in a big city. First off every dish is made to order, and the freshness shows from the golden, perfectly crisp egg roll wraps to the perfectly cooked vegetables in your dish. The flavors are amazing. They have some classic dishes, and their unique take on many familiar dishes insures you will have many favorits to choose from. From the Pho to the savory slightly sweet brown sauce you will not be disappointed. The serving size is perfect, for the price. I have found that anything I have ordered could be split between two leaving no leftovers, or if just for you, you will have lunch for tomorrow. The level of customer service is a rare find in this crazy world today. You will frequently find the owners out on the floor checking on customers, refilling water glasses and serving food right alongside the wait staff. The atmosphere is modern yet with a touch of culture. It is clean, and the tables are promptly cleaned after customers leave. Lovely decorative pieces on the walls and Asian music softly playing adds the authenticity you just might be looking for when dining at a Thai restaurant.
The food was ok. My mom really enjoyed it. Not enough flavor to me. The hostess was very kind and the place was clean. Food came out fairly quick.
Lucky Bakery & BBQ
This bakery is serving up some unique flavorful delicacies at an affordable price and great customer service. The honey glazed barbecue pork is so tender and juicy. While the black sesame seed filled bun and red bean filled sesame balls will make your mouth water after the first bite.
It has been our tasty delight to be regular customers of @Lucky Bakery & BBQ. They take pride in their food and go out of their way to please ALL their customers. My favorite custard tarts are often served to our dinner guests with a topping of fresh fruit and whipped cream. Order ahead this is justifiably a popular place !
Asia Restaurant
Very good food. It's been difficult to find Chinese food reminiscent of the past as these establishments are gone due to the owners retiring. This restaurant serves food with that same quality. We really enjoyed it. We ordered egg rolls, oriental vegetable soup, pork fried rice and sweet and sour shrimp. Almond cookies were also included in the dinner choice. The server was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely return.
Ok we went twice for Tuesday bike night & are going again on 9/17. We didn't eat , just enjoyed the band , the beautiful night & grat patio atmosphere. Strangely, there is only minimal Asian decor in the restaurant. 🤔
China Dragon Chinese Restaurant
Gave China Dragon a try for lunch, and I won’t be back anytime soon. The place was completely empty when I walked in, and it felt like the heat wasn’t on—pretty uncomfortable in colder weather. The dining room had a dated, tacky vibe, even by classic Chinese restaurant standards. The salt and pepper shakers looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since 1982, and there was no hot sauce available, which just added to the letdown. I ordered a lunch special, which ended up being nearly $20 with a drink. For that price, I expected a solid portion, but the plate was mostly sauce and vegetables with hardly any meat. The egg roll was especially strange—it had a sweet, cinnamon-y flavor that made it taste more like a churro than an egg roll. Not sure what was going on there, but it definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. Service was poor. The server was polite when I walked in, but once the food hit the table, his only concern seemed to be getting the check paid—not checking on the meal or offering anything else. All in all, the experience felt cold, overpriced, and neglected. There are far better Chinese spots nearby that offer tastier food, better value, and a more welcoming atmosphere.
5 Stars Hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant! The fried rice, egg rolls, and veggies are always delicious. Honestly, everything I’ve tried here has been fantastic. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Highly recommend!
New China
This is my new favorite place to get take out. The staff is very nice and friendly. The food is yummy and I always come back for more. Thank you for sharing your food with the world.
Very delicious food, and quick service. The staff was very friendly. It was pretty quiet, too, and all the tables and the entire restaurant was clean.
Chef Paz Restaurant
Really great food. The shrimp soup was out of this world. My sone had the beed stew with cilantro. I have a paiella with sefood. Excellent flavors. We will definitly be back.
A must try!!! The vegetarian pasta with grilled chilled was nothing delicious!!! I tried the chicha morada and wow I got a second one cause I’ve never had a drink like that before. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service was great from start to finish!!! Chef Paz is a must!!!
thaibarbbq
Excellent food and Service our waitress is Natalie and she was very pleasant and polite. Food was delicious and very good portion. I recommend this place if you’re near this area.
The owner is truly a people person! We were greeted with kindness and smile by the employees. The place is always clean, and no dishes are left after you finish a certain dish. The food is very good and fresh. We opted for the combo pho, and they did not disappoint. They even offered us complimentary tableside tea service! 🍵 If you are seeking authentic Thai with great service this is hands down one of the best.
Great Apple
So good! Literally was dying, and the Chicken Lo Mein was fire. Chicken was well cooked and tender 🤤 Super yummy and tasty. Veg egg roll was healthy and delish 😋 will be back!
Ordered the kung pao and garlic chicken food was very bland and had no taste whatsoever, Also ordered 4 veggie egg rolls and those were ok not great. The chicken had a very odd taste to it as if it had been sitting around too long. Another thing is the kung pao & chicken in garlic sauce it was mostly all vegetables and barely any chicken. The dining area when I walked into Great Apple looked dirty and the tables were not clean. The food was so bad that we ended up tossing it in the garbage. I will not be returning to Great Apple. For the money I feel ripped off. Avoid this place at all cost. Sticking with Szechuan Chinese Restaurant as it is 100% better food and quality.
