China Fortune
Glad we were able to try this place. The sushi was good and the free chips with sweet and sour dip were a nice touch. We sat at the bar which is nice. The place appeared to be a little empty for 5:30. A ton of carry outs! We would go back and try more rolls. Only one thing we didn’t care for was the steamed dumplings. A few beers and rolls ran us about $60 which is on par.
This restaurant has gone way downhill over the years. Tonight’s food was inedible. We ate here a few months ago and had a similar experience but wanted to give them one more chance since it used to be one of our favorites. Pad Thai was a lump of flavorless mush. Wontons so overcooked there wasn’t any crab left inside. Crispy beef was soggy and SALTY. Egg rolls greasy and undercooked. Even the wonton soup noodles tasted old. They got my $60 tonight but never again.
Panda Garden
Not good, very disappointing. Stopped in for my first time tonight, 1. Told on the phone to pay cash, I get it, but maybe I didn’t have cash? 2. Tells me take out is 25-30, they call me 15 minutes later 3 times to let me know to come get my food, bizarre 3. $24.00 for one order of crab Rangoon and General Tso’s, very pricey for take out 4. Disappointing food, fatty chicken, flavorless fried rice, unflavored sauce. Honestly dampened my evening and left with me major regret for wasting my money. I considered if this was my fault, maybe I ordered too close to close? I called in at 8:50 but Google lists theirs closing time at 10. An hour or more is usually my window of acceptable closing time etiquette, especially for a weekend night.
Food was bland and overpriced. Passion seems to have gone out of the place. Really hope they find it again. We'd love to make this our go-to Chinese place. It's in a super convenient location.
Great Wall
If you order food here, I would get: chicken wings NOT as a lunch order, but by themselves. The lunch order of chicken wings comes with pork fried rice that is cold, dry, and lacking in flavor. The wonton soup tasted decent. The egg rolls are pretty good. Fried scallops were good. I would not get the beef and broccoli because it comes with the same pork fried rice. The beef itself okay, but I wouldn't say high points for the broccoli. Also if you order the wonton appetizer, expect bland, hard overcooked wontons. Definitely a hit or miss for ordering. Not worth the money to me.
Have been getting food from here for years ,yesterday’s food was ill prepared, the vegetables were cut up in huge chunks, the Hot and Sour soup was so hot with red pepper was not fit to eat ,rice was so dry hard to eat. The ribs had no meat on them and very little sauce, the Pepper steak was eatable but again the vegetables were cut so large you had to cut them up before putting in your mouth same with the onions at one point the onion piece was a quarter of a small onion. Sad to say will not order from here again! I guess it has changed hands. So sad was a great restaurant at one time .
