Fortune Garden
Delicious food! The service is amazing right from when you walk through the door till you leave. Certainly a must visit China Town eatery.
Wonderful family business. We had the lunch special, which was amazing! The portions are sooooo large and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant in Chinatown. Tiny restaurant with great food, great service, and great prices!!
Hong Kong Bistro
Hong Kong Bistro is my favorite dim sum spot in Seattle! Everything on the menu is so good, but the green beans are my absolute favorite—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. If you’re into good dim sum and you’re in the area, this place is a must. Cozy, delicious, and always satisfying!
Nice spot for a legitimate late-night meal. Was not a fan of the pepper beef short ribs. They were very chewy and slathered with an untasty sauce. I really liked the century egg porridge- definitely get it with Chinese donuts for dipping. Condiments on the table (pepper, chili, soy sauce) were disgustingly sticky. I opted out of using them because of that.
Mike's Noodle House
So frickin' good!! Normally I'm not big into Kaange but Mike's is so good!! The dry noodles are delicious and you can get a side of broth and wet them as much as you'd like. The noodles and Congee are my favorite. Every meat is delicious (tender well seasoned) but I'm not that into the shrimp wontons, they are good just not my jam. Pricing is fair it's like $12-15ish bucks per entree but the Congee is a decent size portion. I've never been able to finish one by myself and I'm 200 lbs (big boy). After ordering from Uber eats I expected it to be crazy busy but there were seats available when we went. I don't think they serve beer or wine but they do serve free unlimited hot tea. It's definitely not fancy (besides the food) but it's the perfect atmosphere for diving into some delicious noods! Oh and the Chile sauce is spicy, crunchy, salty umami it ticks all the boxes.. we had to get a refill during our visit
The congee is fine with special ingredients which are not quite common in American dishes; pork kidney and liver. It's Hong Kong style of congee. The Chinese donut is not as crispy as it should be. Only cash, the paper money, is accepted. Be prepared to bring it along to enjoy the food there.
Honey Court Seafood Restaurant
peking duck was absolutely amazing! it was really juicy and tender. the skin was also a perfect amount of crunch. the bao buns was also really soft, it felt like it was melting in my mouth. i would definitely come back here for it! west lake beef soup was also really good. it reminded me of home💗 hargows were one of the best i’ve ever had. the shrimp was very plump and fresh, a good amount of chewiness and flavor.
Honey Court is THE after hours spot. This place has served the community for decades. It use to be open til 4 am pre covid days, so hoping the restaurant makes a comeback for that. Honey Walnut Prawns in the best here. Shirley is the auntie that will always take care of you especially if you don’t know what to order, she will hook you up.
Purple Dot Cafe
I recently dined at here, and overall, it was a delightful experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with traditional Chinese decor that added to the dining experience. We started with the dim sum, one type of roll( forgot the name) which packed with fresh vegetables. The accompanying sweet and sour sauce was the perfect complement. For the main course, we ordered spicy fish and it was a big amount. The potato dish was savory, with perfectly cooked chili. We also tried the Fried Rice, which was flavorful and had a great mix of vegetables and protein. The portion sizes were generous, and we definitely left with leftovers!
Some of the best dim sum in the C-ID! Crispy spicy green beans with Chicken and XO sauce was divine! The shrimp dumplings and shu mai we equally as delicious. Service is great! We’ll be back!
