So, at first I was impressed by the friendly customer service. The waiter is so nice and she was outstanding. Than we got the food. The variety is NOT like other people where making it to be. It was not that much of variety available. They open at 11 and we got there at 12 and there food was not hot. Some was cold, some warm. So I know the items was not freshly made. This is one reason I rated the food at a 3. The other reason is some of the food tasted weird. I don't know if they are using left over food from day before or what but it definitely did not taste good. There rice noodles, and some of there chicken breaded was yummy. Also the sugar donuts was nice too. Pictures available 😀

Really great food. This was only our second time coming here and wasn't sure if we seated ourselves or not, the lady at the front wasn't super clear and we were a little confused. But other than that, our waiter was very kind and attentive and the food tasted great. 😊

Wok & Teriyaki 0

My Aunt & I had a late lunch of teriyaki chicken and Kung Pao beef. Both dishes were large portions but the price was a little high! Food was excellent tasting and I'd love to go back.

January 9, 2025: I suffered extreme sticker shock when I handed over my debit card to pay for 2 spicy teriyaki chicken breast dinners, totaling $40! The nice lady at the counter assured me there was no price mistake and showed me the menu. I took the menu with me and compared it with the one I had at home from last year. As anyone will see when comparing last year to this new menu, prices had been increased to a substantially higher level. To add to my further disappointment, the portions of both the chicken & the side salad were noticeably smaller than what I was accustomed to receiving. I am very sad because I have been coming here for many years, and consider Wok Teriyaki a neighborhood staple. Many a weeknight, we’ve resorted to takeout when making dinner wasn’t feasible. No more. If I’m going to pay this much for similar food, it will be at a far nicer restaurant where we would typically dine in. The prices now are truly beyond the pale.

I do wish there were dine in options, but I understand that the take out model likely works best for the owners. The food is delicious, fresh and generous. I discovered that I actually like chestnuts, they must be using fresh chestnuts because they are delicious and taste nothing like the canned ones I’m used to. They clearly care about the quality and portions and while the prices reflect the quality, I’m OK with that.

The price was a little steep, but the food was very good! The woman working the takeout counter was extremely friendly. The portions are absolutely gigantic.

I love Golden Grill! I used to bartend here about 15 years ago, so I was already very family with their food, and unlike most places, it’s only gotten better over the years. Try the sizzling platter. It’s like Chinese fajitas. 😂 So good! Also save room for their hand made pork dumplings. Always worth it!

really lovely restaurant with pleasant vibes and a view of the water. Food was good, hot and fresh, but extremely expensive. Portions were large at least. I got their joy luck combination plate and it was a lot of food. But the soda was $5! The pot of tea was $6! That's just a lot in my opinion.

So the food was actually authentic and pretty good. I mean, yes it's Chinese. NO IT IS NOT MEXICAN. lol unless you ask for the Mexican menu. Outside there restraunt it says Mexican/ Chinese. You go in and the waiter gives you Chinese only menu. But that really through me off. Had me kinda irritated. Since it said one thing on there board but it was false advertising. Anyways, back to the food. The egg rolls so yummy, the orange chicken, was authentic and rice. Very good. Food was good. Service was okay, the waiter seemed upset and bothered. But a little smile would of did him a long way snd I'm sure it would help with the tips too

I'm in love with the orange chicken made here. It's not a typical (too sweet) sauce. It's a housemade (differently unique) spicy type of orange sauce. You can't get this anywhere else. I like the sauce on the side (for to-go) so the deep-fried chicken doesn't get soggy, and I dip the chicken in orange sauce. The chicken itself, sweet and sour, or orange chicken is cooked to perfection. I love whatever coating they use and you can tell the oil is fresh because you taste the food, not the oil. Also, recommend any of the rice dishes. We like shrimp fried rice and there's a generous amount of shrimp in this. We've had all the fried rice, all are good with fresh vegetables. The staff is always friendly and all the food is consistently good and made fresh. The Chef here is top-notch. 👍 We've been going here for decades for comfort food and it's only gotten better. Prices are reasonable for a generous amount of food that is great reheated. The egg rolls are huge!
