18 Dough
We happened to see them open today and stopped in. It was the soft open. While they did not have any soup dumplings, they had almost everything else. The braised beef noodle soup was SO good. The broth was rich and flavorful and the meat was perfectly tender. The server was super friendly and very kind. 10/10 will certainly return for the grand opening later this week.
18 Dough is a new culinary delight in the Southwest part of the valley. In its Grand Opening period, my husband and I dined here earlier in the week and a second time on Mother’s Day with the whole family. What does that tell you? Yes, this place is good and serves some of the best wontons and soup dumplings I’ve ever had! It must be the magic in that dough - it’s so delicate and melts in your mouth. The receptionist greeted us with a smile and remembered us from our last visit - a nice touch. With this being a special occasion, we didn’t hold back on our food selection. For starters, we ordered 2 servings of Red Oil Wontons (MUST TRY THIS, it's our favorite), Pork Soup Dumplings, Cheese Soup Dumplings and Stuffed Meat Pie. The starters were served with three dipping sauces - red chili crisp, house sauce and sweet/sour sauce. While the sauces are a nice option, the food is so flavorful and seasoned to perfection, it can stand on its own. For the main course, we ordered Sweet n Sour Ribs, Signature Fried Rice and Mongolian Beef. While waiting for the entrees we were surprised with Crispy Veggie Spring Rolls, Pork Potstickers and Chocolate Dessert Bao - compliments from the kitchen. The Dessert Bao has a banana and nutella like filling that when consumed together it draws a complete foodgasm! Just when we thought the meal couldn’t get any better, the ribs arrived. They were so tender, cooked to perfection and the flavor was exceptional. The Signature Fried Rice was packed with generous portions of ham, shrimp, chicken and veggies. We had the Mongolian Beef on our last visit, so we knew what to expect and it did not disappoint. Our servers were so kind, attentive, and explained that the “18” in the name of the restaurant means good fortune. We left feeling completely satisfied, with good fortune dough in our bellies and we’ll be sure to return for some more. The next time you find yourself near Rainbow & Sunset, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You’ll thank me later.
Burning Wok
Guilin Rice Noodle
Very authentic Guilin noodle restaurant, family run with required chinese channel on the TV. Been there twice, excellent food. Two sided menus has Guilin noodles on one side, and Hunan offerings on the other. Have only tried the Guilin side menu so far.
Authentic Guilin taste
Panda Express
Great location and has entertainment there’s a water show in front of the restaurant. Location in clean and staff are super mega friendly. Take a Moment relax enjoy the scenery.
Mainly a take out place. Very little seating. However, food is good and at decent prices (for Las Vegas). We bought dinner here multiple times during our stay in Las Vegas.
Stirfry 88
Solid Chinese food. The orange chicken was delicious. Orange chicken was devoured by the time we remembered to take photos~
This little shop is located inside the Outlet Mall. The prices were better than the other eateries there. The food was good as well as the service.
Imperial Sushi Seafood Buffet
Wonderful seafood buffet in Vegas! Came here to celebrate birthday on a Sunday while visiting Vegas. I really like that they make all seafood flavorful. Sashimi pieces are fresh and delicious. You gonna try the ice cream, it seriously is the best buffet ice cream I’ve ever had.
This place is a the best I've eaten in Chinese food since I've been in Vegas. They have the fresh sushi . They rolling while you eat. The fruit bar what can i say the freshest sweetest pineapple, watermelon, oranges, an so on ive eaten since i been here the last 4 days. The waiter Jackie be on his job. He's a excellent waiter. Thr restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. Very inviting. The workers are always cheerful. I recommend this restaurant to anyone
8 Noodle Bar
Disappointing. I sat for 20 minutes trying to flag down a server, but apparently, there's only 1 for the whole place. A guy sat down next to me, maybe 10 minutes after me, and even he was getting annoyed. He actually got the attention of the chef lady. I couldn't see her name, but she was short haired and in black chef coat. She was expediting at the front of the line. I mean, we didn't even get water or anything. The chef lady came over, and I realized the guy sitting next to me was closer to her from her position, but I was clearly sitting there much longer, and yet she still came to him first. On a side note, I also noticed a couple sit down after the guy next to me. In other words, it was long after I sat down, and I noticed they were already done and leaving as I was finally getting my food. So the service gets 1 star. It's just really disorganized and frustrating. The guy next to me actually gestured for the chef to attend to me. She asked if she could get me a drink and I asked if I could order because I'm ready. She hesitated like she was breaking some rule. I'm sorry, but after 30 minutes of waiting to get noticed (and she saw me because I tried flagging her down more than once), but at that point, there's no rule. Just help. Clearly, the server is overwhelmed or whatever, and the customer needs service. But still, I was patient. I ordered a Thai tea, shishito Pepper appetizer, and tonkatsu. I should have made sure but I usually ask for the Thai tea to come out at the end as like a refreshing dessert to wash down everything but they brought that out first and with the glass half full of ice. Grrr...I thought that was normally how Thai tea is served? It really didn't have that rich creamy flavor Thai tea usually has. The shishito peppers came out, and it was a nice big dish, so I was happy with the portion, but they were just ok. Could have used a little more seasoning. I was barely 4 peppers into the appetizer when they brought the tonkatsu. I'm not quite sure what the expediter lady is doing if she's not really expediting. But I took one look at the broth, and I already knew it would have no flavor because I could see all the fat floating at the top of the broth. That is why it has zero flavor. Need to render the fat from the broth. After a few bites, I sent it back. I hate sending stuff back, but this was unacceptable. I opted for the first chicken dish I could find. While I was waiting for that, I was able to finish the peppers. Timing is important. Oh,I almost forgot the Mochiko chicken. It's basically like general tso chicken or like orange chicken without the orange flavor. It was ok. I wish I was offered spicy sauce or something to kick it up a notch but it was ok. The chef lady seemed to be scolding the line cook. I couldn't make out everything they were saying, but if the chef is expediting, it's her job to make sure the dishes are on par. It's hard to be upset with such a pretty lady but this place seems to have changed drastically. The last time I was here was over 8 years ago but at that time, I was coming every other week and it was excellent. With great regret, I have to not recommend this. Everything about it just seems off. I MIGHT give it another chance but I will make sure to go when it's not busy.
I’ve been here a couple times. The shaking beef or beef chow fun never disappoint. Service is mediocre, I think I had better service sitting at the bar than being at tables but it was never bad service but the food is good. They do their best to be secluded from the casino but it’s right up against one of the major walkways. Even though it is it still has a nice light atmosphere. Under the Bansai tree is a solid drink if you like lychee. East miridian tastes like skittles if you’re into sweet drinks. Can’t go wrong with their Thai tea either. Definitely worth checking out
Boun Thai Kitchen
Very glad we found this hidden gem. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were being treated like family. Ole was our server and he was so enthusiastic and attentive I had a smile on my face the entire visit. The food came out rather quickly and was seasoned perfectly. We had the fresh spring rolls to start, then we had Thai Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles, Mixed Vegetables and Basil Eggplant. We always get more so we can enjoy leftovers for next two days. It was definitely tasty the next day. Boun Thai is definitely worth the trip.
Boun Thai Kitchen in Las Vegas offers a great experience for a casual dinner. The friendly staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Ample parking ensures a hassle-free visit, which is always a plus. Their quick service is perfect for a convenient to-go option after a busy day. The portions are generous, providing excellent value for the price. The food is flavorful, with dishes that strike a great balance of authentic Thai taste. The to-go packaging keeps the meal warm and fresh until you’re ready to enjoy it. It’s a solid choice for anyone craving good Thai cuisine without the long wait. Perfect for takeout or a relaxed dine-in experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Bul&Gogi Korean BBQ
One of the best Korean barbecues in Las Vegas mashed potatoes on the menu. You know the place is fire if they have rice paper, my new favorite spots
This is one of the kind of places where they constantly come by and tend to the meat on the grill for you, which typically I like to just do it myself but actually didn't mide it here so much. They were real attentive. The KFC was really good the spicy one. Liked their large variety of sauces for dipping meats
Dragon Tiger Noodle Company
First time here & first for this kind of food. Loved it! Big variety, vegetarian too if you like, Gluten free if you like. Spicy if you like. Healthy if you like. My family loved it too. Clean & pretty restaurant with good service and quiet, not crowded. In a strip mall on Blue Diamond Road across from Costco, with many restaurants!
Prices were fair. They let you sample the broths which i really appreciated. They offer military discount as well! Atmosphere was cozy. Ingredient options were great in my opinion except the broths were a touch on the salty side and the only aroma oil options they had were only garlic oil or black garlic oil - i wish there were more. I love the fact that they had fish cakes as a topping. Staff was friendly except they had a tendency to whisper to each other and laugh while my wife & i were ordering but aside from that they were great. The manager was very nice and welcoming and the food was a 7.2 out of 10. I truly believe if they reworked the broths a little bit, and included more aroma oil options, I could easily see it being a 8.5 out of 10 regarding flavor. The egg i ordered was marinated which I would expect although I think taking the time to cut the egg in half would make it easier to eat like most ramen spots I've been to do but not a huge deal. We received our cups for soda but we weren't sure where to go get them filled. They showed us where it was located but some signage would've been nice. The establishment seemed clean and well-maintained. The tables have built-in bowl warmers to keep your food hot, which was a super nice addition. Between my wife and I, we purchased 2 regular sized bowls of ramen and 4 pork bao buns and it came up to about $45. We were stuffed! Staff was friendly and food was good.
Dragon Bite
This place is not well frequented but a bit of a surprise. 😮 The service is very good. Friendly, helpful with ordering and appears to do a strong take out business. No one dined in while I was there. There’s only boba 🧋 and soda per can. However the food is ready very fast. Served hot and the portions are huge. See pictures. The prices are average.
Food was very good, communication was troubling. Our delivery order took over 2 hours. The first driver got lost and never called us to confirm, they stated he continues to deliver other orders. We called and the restaurant was kind enough to remake the food so it would still be fresh but it still altogether took way too long to get dinner.
Jasmine Rice
Jasmine Rice is a spot we frequent! We’ve tried many of the menu items and have never been disappointed! Some of are favorites are the Larb salad, gluten free crab cakes, yellow curry, Tom kha soup, and the noodle dishes. Everyone I’ve taken here has enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. The live music is a great touch! The servers are friendly and don’t rush you- great spot to come for date night/ catching up with friends. The photos and videos show the food presentation! It’s obvious thought goes into the presentation of each dish. There are plenty of booths along one side of the restaurant with tables in front of the stage. The decor is modern.
Lovely place to eat, food was very tasty. Staff very kind and the resturant is clean. We had the pad thai, shrimp spring rolls, and steamed dumplings. The steamed dumplings were so good we ordered a second round!!
