Incredible experience. The Sichuan spicy beef noodle stew was exactly what I was expecting. Beef was pull apart tender and the savory broth had the spicy numbing effect throughout.

- just alright, say no to pig's snout!!! - We came here mostly because I got a coupon for spending more than $88 at Asian food center on their anniversary or some sort. Upon entry, you need to put your name on the wait-list using the little tablet. We waited for maybe 20 minutes before getting seated for dinner. The place was packed, but there was a lot of potential for extra tables.. We ordered mapo tofu 麻婆豆腐, sweet and sour spareribs 糖醋小排, and Sichuan string beans 乾癟四季豆. We also get a free country stir-fried with house smoked pig's snout 農家香香嘴. They also don't give you rice for free, so we had to get a bowl of rice as well. The mapo tofu was not like other places, the sauce is mostly red like chili oil. Not the style I like. The string beans were fine but a little dry for us. The sweet and sour spareribs was really good, but the portion is super small and it's mostly bones. Maybe that's why that fish is $14.99 when others were like $20s. We didn't enjoy it the taste of pig's snout and it was a bit "too strong" for us. We ended up not touching that free dish. Overall the meal here was disappointing, and I think we probably ordered the wrong thing. I'd probably come back here to try their other dishes, but given that it's a bit far from us now, it will take another 5-10 years for that to happen :p.

I was a bit skeptical of this place based on the menu pricing. The serving size at most Dim Sum places are quite “small” (size and quantity), so to pay double digits for a dish seemed a bit steep. But we were celebrating a birthday, so it was worth trying once. I apologize for doubting this place. All items are double orders (so 8 pieces instead of 4), but what really was the delightful surprise was the size of the pieces. You know ur in a good place when it takes 2 bites to eat one piece. Food was delicious and tasty. My only criticism is the Red Vinegar on the table, tasted a bit watered down. Efficient and attentive staff. No cheap styrofoam to go boxes AND they don’t charge you for the containers. I appreciate that.

Just happened by and decided to give it a try. Staff weren't really helpful and ordering is via bar code. The portions are big and the food was pretty good (I enjoyed the two items I had, beef balls soup and beef rice crepes). Two items came out to $30, so it's a pricey dim sum.

Shanghai House 0

Shanghai House

Shanghai House is a hidden gem, offering a delicious fusion of Chinese and Korean cuisine. Their menu features traditional dishes like TungSuYuk, Northern Korea’s unique take on Sweet-and-Sour Beef, and Jjajangmyeon also spelled Jajangmyeon is a delightful noodle dish topped with a thick sauce of Chunjang, diced pork, and vegetables. These wonderful dishes are rare finds in the US, but are absolutely worth seeking out. Despite the surprisingly low review ratings, my experience was nothing short of exceptional—from the outstanding service to the incredible food flavors. It's possible that the traditional Chinese-Korean dishes might be unfamiliar to some. However, for anyone living in or near Seattle, or just visiting, Shanghai House is an absolute must-try! 🍜🌟

After not visiting for a long time, I came here again. Last time, I had to admit that I was pretty disappointed by the dish 'Yanduxian,' but after such a long time, I decided to give it another chance. Our group of six people ordered many dishes. I'd say this time it was better than I expected. Some of the dishes are pretty good, for example, the red-braised pork belly and the egg yolk pumpkin. Some of the dishes met the standard but were not amazing, such as the Eight Treasure Duck and some cold dishes. However, I was again disappointed by the 'Yanduxian.' It was just NOT right. Nothing was right about this soup, and please just avoid ordering this. Hopefully, the restaurant staff will see this review and ask me what would be the correct way of cooking it. Anyway, it's improving. There's already very little competition among Shanghai-style restaurants here, so at least it provides a destination to enrich the diversity.

I would give it no stars if I could I ordered the vegetarian fried rice and the vegetarian chow mein upon eating the fried rice. My husband bit down on a metal screw that was inside of the fried rice. I called the restaurant and explained the situation about the metal screw being in the fried rice that my husband bit Down on but she seemed not concerned about the situation she just offered To make the food again, I said no thank you to the food because I don’t want the same. Same situation again my first time ordering there and this will be my last time ordering there.

Very friendly service. Excellent hot & sour soup, it was the best thing I ate. So good I didn't even catch a picture. I did not like the honey char siu pork [barbecue pork]. Really liked the Mongolian chicken [lots of onions] & chicken with string beans. There are only two tables, with a total of eight stool seats. Mostly a take out spot. Everything is served in to-go containers.

Our go to dim-sum spot when we are in the Bellevue area. Service is quick and food comes within 5-10 minutes after placing the order easily online through QR code. Waiters were friendly and attentive. Facility and bathrooms are always clean. Atmosphere is lovely! Would recommend bringing your friends and family.

Seattle did not disappoint me at all! Dim sum style are authentic Hong Kong style. This is not a huge restaurant, there is about 30 tables and tables are spread out. I like the updated atmosphere throughout the restaurant. Once you walk in, you feel is welcoming. The only thing I have to complain is the restaurant is tucked in at the very end of the corner in the parking lot. Without any guidance, I won't be able to find this place. I felt like I found a hidden gem in the area! The dim sum and service was awesome! There is a QR code on the table where you place order. One of my worry was after placing order of the dimsum, they usually ask you to pay the bill. BUT IT DID NOT happen here! Once you submit the order on your phone, the food comes out quickly within couple minutes. Def will come here again when I'm in the city visiting.
