Ho Ho China Buffet
This is the best place I've ever been to for Chinese take out. The selection of food is quite good, and it hasn't gotten old after years of coming to this restaurant. It is almost tradition to come here whenever we're in the area. The service is fantastic, the service lady is such a kind person. The inside is nicely kept, with a warm vibe to it. 11/10 would recommend going here.
Good food, first time there. November 2024 weekend price for the buffet was 13.39 weekdays I believe is 12.99.
Double Happiness
Good food and great service! Everything was tasty, but the fried dumplings stood out! Super nice staff, they gave me a free order of donuts.
Absolutely delicious food and friendly service! We will definitely be coming back, especially for the black pepper chicken. Thank you again!
Chinatown Express
Good food, but I just waited almost 30 minutes in the drive thru when I was the only car. There were two people inside. I understand that it may take a while to cook, but it would have been nice to know it would take a while because I would have left. I ordered one singular lunch bowl for myself.
I think this place is great, the atmosphere is very on point, the servers behind the counter are very kind and quick to complete your order, and the food is so good despite being very affordable. I love this place and anytime I crave some good Chinese food, I go here. I recommend it to anyone!
Peking Restaurant
It's been 9 years since I've lived in Warsaw, but every time I'm back, I HAVE to go to Peking! Hands down, best Chinese food you'll find. It's made on the spot, but service is quick every time. It's amazing how on top they are. The phone was ringing non-stop with incoming orders, with still more bags on the counter ready for pick up. I walked in and order, and still got my food less than 10 minutes. The food is always fresh and hot. When I lived up here, I could go to Peking and take my food all the back to Milford (20 min drive), and I wouldn't even have to microwave it because it was still nice and hot. The portions are generous too. Listen, ya girl loves to eat...I have no shame cleaning my plate haha, but I can go to Peking and actually have leftovers to take home. And seeing as they serve it in these lovely reusable containers, I get "free Tupperware" out of it too haha. It is a win all around. Highly recommend. Everything is delicious. I've had the chicken and broccoli, cashew chicken, sweet and sour chicken, egg drop soup, egg rolls, crab rangoons...haven't had anything yet that I don't like. So yummy!
I grew up in Warsaw. Peking is incredibly nostalgic for me. I would come in with my dad and sisters when it was still a strip mall and we’d all have sweet and sour chicken with grape soda. It’s still a very special thing for me. Service is also very friendly. Food in about ten minutes and it always the best.
Hunan Village
First of all, I might be more critical since I came from China and I have developed an acquire taste for authentic Chinese food. Overall I think Hunan Village is a good place to satisfy your cravings for Chinese food. Please note that Lunch Specials are very good deals since they are under ten dollars and come with an Egg Rolls and Fried Rice. It is even offered on weekends. Dragon & Phoenix was very expensive, it is basically half shrimp and vegetables with half of the General Tao’s Chicken. General Tao’s Chicken was actually pretty tasty. Imperial Chicken has a good amount of chicken and mixed vegetables. The chicken was very tender, but the whole dish was slightly bland for my taste. I wouldn’t recommend the Moo Shi Pork, it is nothing special, and the wrap was breaking apart since they weren’t heated properly. Do not order the Boneless Spareribs, it wasn’t the spareribs, rather it was cut up Chinese BBQ pork with lots of sweet sauce. I did not like it. The Fried Meat Dumplings was pretty good, I liked the meat filling. Shrimp Tempura was good. Chicken on the Stick was not the best, I probably should ordered the Beef on the Stick. English speaking waitress knows the menu well enough to give you recommendations. Even though I didn’t order it while I was there, but I think Pu Pu Platter would be a good appetizer to try and it would impress your date.
Ordered PuPu platter and house fried rice takeout. Tasted like it was days old. The fried rice was a very dark brown and did not taste very good. This is the second time the food was awful. It’s sad because the food was good in the past.
New Golden City
I stopped by to get dinner after work. An asked for extra sauce. Where is the sauce? It is SO dry. Hense why I asked for extra sauce. For almost 18.00 youd think a little extra sauce wouldn't be a problem. She even repeated what I said. So I know she understood me.
I grew up on this she cooks just as good as her dad did
Panda Express
Very displeased with service and the food. I've been watching it go down hill for awhile now, but today they have me writing a review.. I went there for lunch with my family. We stood waiting to order our food for 5 minutes and considered walking out. Manager/Shift lead was standing right in front of us taking orders for the drive-through that entire time. Never said a word to us.. No: welcome to Panda express, hi, hello, we will be right with you.. nothing. A gloomy boy walked up after and took our order, no smile no greeting. It was more of an inconvenience that we were there. When we finally got to the table to eat our food we were not happy. Meat was luke warm, steamed rice was more like rice porridge (overcooked and very mushy), and the fried rice was the same (overcooked, mushy, and salted??? yes salted.. not soy... not sesame sauce, salt.. tall tale sign was the fried rice was white... I don't know it was even fried). We ate the meat.. after all we just paid $30+ for 3 bowls.. but threw away everything else.. I will not be returning anytime soon.
We paid $30+ for 3 bowls and it was 90% fried rice. We even made a donation and the three bowls all together had the portion of black pepper steak that is served for just one bowl. Meaning each bowl had literally 4 small pieces of steak. They’ll steal your money.
Wong's Restaurant
My son and I ate here for a late lunch. Atmosphere has a lot to be desired. Prices are cheap, poritoms are large, but unfortunately our dishes weren't that great. My son ordered General Tsoas chicken, it was burnt and the sauce was tasteless. He said the fried rice was decent. I ordered Singapore noodles, the flavor was all cumin. Fried wontons 👎 no filling and super hard. Crab Rangoon, now these were amazing! I would go back just for these. Egg drop soup was pretty good
Went for lunch buffet today and they had a pretty good variety of things . I ended up ordering beef and broccoli as I am doing a low carb diet . They were super accommodating and I asked for NO sugar no salt and no MSG. The waiter was amazing . It’s a super busy place so go right when they open. I have a 4 star for atmosphere as it was pretty dimly lit by the buffet and hard to navigate around as it’s a small space . The food was the best I’ve had in Warsaw for Chinese .
China Palace Restaurant
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious—everything from the fried rice, chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls, and Chinese donuts was flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delight! Beyond the amazing food, the service is truly exceptional. The staff is incredibly supportive and accommodating, always going above and beyond to meet any request. They even provide extra service beyond expectations, making every visit a great experience. If you're looking for delicious food and outstanding hospitality, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
The smaller high quality buffet is great. The quality of the sweet and sour chicken meat blew my mind. Everything was delicious. Was just looking to grab a bite to eat and found a place that I'll definitely eat at again. The mounted fish by the register were rad. Chill place. Wasn't in a hurry to leave and was a high point during a bad day.
CHINA INN
Food tasted totally different today than normal. Hot and sour soup was neither spicy nor sour, tasted like gelatinous beef broth, very bland and somewhat old tasting. Several other items tasted off as well, as if they got a new cook who couldn’t find the recipes. Buffet could def stand to be refreshed more often. The soups and sauces generally have a very thick congealed layer at the top which is pretty gross. The building was also very hot and at least 80% humidity which didn’t make for a pleasant meal. Couldn’t recommend this place to anyone after todays dining experience. Edit: For some reason my kid loves this place, so we decided to go for his birthday, despite me really not wanting to. We went on a weekend during dinner time. The food was slightly better than my previous review. It’s the next morning and I now have mild food poisoning and can’t get off the toilet. Just skip this place, I will definitely never be returning, my kid can find a new favorite place.
We did a to go order. We got the vegetable lomien, seseme chicken, and the walnut shrimp. The food was food, but I thought the portions were small, given the price of them. Especially the walnut shrimp that was 17 dollars.
