Beijing Palace
This place is probably my favorite of all the VB Chinese spots. I got multiple menu items just to see if they beat my favorites around here and they killed it. The pork ribs sauce is amazing the eggrolls are massive and the Chicken Lo Mein portions are massive! This place is a must!
If you are looking for the best Chinese take out in Virginia Beach, this is it. I’ve been working through my favorite dishes and they have all been amazing. Everything looks and tastes to be house made; their sauces are insanely good!! Also, easily the best egg roll I’ve ever had.
Warriors Grill
Warriors Grill is undoubtedly the pinnacle of freshness! Every bite is a testament to their commitment to quality, with all the meats and veggies beautifully fresh!, making for an exceptional dining experience. The noodles are not just good; they're delightfully bouncy, adding a perfect texture to each dish. The variety of cooking sauce options available is impressive, allowing for a customizable experience that keeps us coming back for more. We absolutely love dining here—it's truly a treat that never disappoints!
Warrior's Grill is located in the Renaissance Place Shopping Center located on N. Great Neck Rd. just a little north of Virginia Beach Blvd. With them being part of a shopping center, there was ample parking available here. My visit here was on March 25, 2024. It had been a while since I had been to a Mongolian BBQ place since DW's Mongolian closed during the pandemic. I have heard of the place in the past, but hadn't been in there. They are in the middle of the shopping center, and almost missed it at first. It wasn't busy when I came in, but it was at an off peak time. We were immediately greeted and got to a table. The server asked if we wanted any soups, but we declined. You also get some white rice at the table, but that is one thing I avoid since it can spike sugar levels. It was time to go up to the food picking area to have it cooked. I went with several vegetables, as well as white meat chicken and beef. There are several sauces to add as well, but I generally avoid the sugar water one. It is all you can eat when you dine in, so you can go up multiple times. Since we were able to go up multiple times, I was definitely full by the time I was done after three visits. They were quick for refills as needed and the clearing of used plates too. Overall, the service and food were good. I had no issues while there. One thing that I would have hoped for was to have seafood options like shrimp or scallops as well. The pricing is good for what you get here as I was here during the early dinner time. If you're looking for a place that has Mongolian BBQ, this is a solid place to come and check out.
Peking City Chinese Restaurant
I ordered the shrimp fried rice. I was given hard scorned rice. This was my 1st time going and will be my last. Never seen a Chinese restaurant not properly cook rice. Please save your money and anywhere but here. I have provided the pictures showing it was uncooked.
Great food and dine-in experience. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to go here. They do not deliver (you can pick up your food, though), and it's not a buffet - so I have no clue what a lot of the one-star reviews are about. There may be some delivery services that pick up from here, but I don't know because I'm not lazy.
O'Yummy Sushi
My boyfriend and I went here for lunch today and it was AMAZING so worth the price for all you can eat sushi and the staff is very kind and attentive. The decorations are so nice and I enjoyed the dimly lit settings with all of the pretty light decorations. The variety of rolls was also super good, I’m pregnant so I wasn’t able to eat anything with raw sushi (just my precautions) but there were plenty of options for me to still enjoy the sushi. In total we had about 11 rolls and one soup (anything on the menu with no price is all you can eat!) for about 42 bucks! We also got sodas and tipped but the price was so so worth it for the quality of the food and service. We’re definitely going to be coming back! I also recommend coming right as they open, it was pretty nice to have the place to ourselves for a while :)
I visited O Yummy Sushi for lunch around 2:20 PM, with the lunch special advertised as “all you can eat” until 3:00 PM. The sushi was fresh and high quality, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The restaurant itself was clean, and the service was friendly and attentive. However, at around 2:50 PM, we were told that lunch was over and we couldn’t order more, despite the all-you-can-eat promise. My recommendation? Don’t go in too late for lunch, or you’ll miss out on the full experience. Overall, great sushi, but timing is key!
