I used to eat at Hong Kong house on a regular basis when I worked close by. The food was delicious every single time. The last time I ate there was in 2008. Reason I retired from my job Recently I decided to visit Hong Kong House. The food is still delicious, hot and they still give you plenty. I'm gonna half to break down more often to go to Hong Kong House even if Im not in the area. From my house to there is a 30 minute drive on the interstate. But it's really worth the long drive

This is a fantastic place for food! The staff were very friendly and kind, very quick service, and I appreciated how full my takeout boxes were. You've got to give this place a try!

Couldn’t for some reason leave a review for the Volvo location. I can’t believe I just paid $17 bucks for this sandwich. Paid extra for peppers literally got one sliver of pepper put over the entire sandwich. This place has gone so down hill. Never again. Can make my own sandwiches FAR better at home. Been going here for a decade. So unreal.

I ordered a delivery to my home. 2 Cobb salads. I just happen to check outside my door since it was 30 minutes past my delivery time. 2 salads with meat, eggs and cheese sitting on the ground in the sun. Have no idea how long they've been there. Didn't ring the door bell or knock. No email. No text or call to say it was there. Wasted $37.00 because I don't know if it's safe to eat.

This was my first time here and I was not disappointed...with the food or service. The wait staff was attentive and personable. I will say I'm annoyed at the 3% upcharge for paying with a debit/credit card. Not many people are carrying cash these days, so I find that to be an unfair ploy to charge more. 😠 The price is already $13+ per person. However, I did find the food options to be great, especially the sushi. There were items I have never seen or heard of... that I found fascinating! 😃 Everything I tried was really good. 👍🏽

This is my favorite buffet in the CoVA area! Amazing price for the amount of seafood you get. Everything is fresh and food is being constantly refilled and hot. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. They offer military discount too.

I ordered General Tao Chicken. The chicken was cooked slightly crispy but mostly soft/ mushy pieces were throughout the dish. It was drowned in this overwhelmingly sweet sauce. Had the sauce been spicy as it should have been, it might have been better balanced. Additionally, I ordered the fried chicken wings. The wings seemed old, like the actual meat itself was past its prime. I took one bite and discarded them as I didn’t want to get sick. For my final selection I ordered a chicken and shrimp (I think! The meat was not really detectable) spring roll. It was okay, a little soggy and undercooked as well. I explained that I only wanted a spring roll since I don’t like egg rolls. It had the texture of an egg roll. Doughy, thick and not crispy. I ordered on the recommendation of co workers who really enjoy this restaurant but it was a no for me personally. I expected to pay $15.00. - $20.00 because it was lunch, instead it was $30.00.

My wife and I moved to the General Booth/Princess Anne area 3 years ago. We've tried about 5 Chinese establishments in the area and finally found our favorite. China Sun is it. This place is definitely the best chinese food on this side of Virginia Beach. China Sun, please continue to do what you do. Don't change anything.

Warriors Grill is undoubtedly the pinnacle of freshness! Every bite is a testament to their commitment to quality, with all the meats and veggies beautifully fresh!, making for an exceptional dining experience. The noodles are not just good; they're delightfully bouncy, adding a perfect texture to each dish. The variety of cooking sauce options available is impressive, allowing for a customizable experience that keeps us coming back for more. We absolutely love dining here—it's truly a treat that never disappoints!

Warrior's Grill is located in the Renaissance Place Shopping Center located on N. Great Neck Rd. just a little north of Virginia Beach Blvd. With them being part of a shopping center, there was ample parking available here. My visit here was on March 25, 2024. It had been a while since I had been to a Mongolian BBQ place since DW's Mongolian closed during the pandemic. I have heard of the place in the past, but hadn't been in there. They are in the middle of the shopping center, and almost missed it at first. It wasn't busy when I came in, but it was at an off peak time. We were immediately greeted and got to a table. The server asked if we wanted any soups, but we declined. You also get some white rice at the table, but that is one thing I avoid since it can spike sugar levels. It was time to go up to the food picking area to have it cooked. I went with several vegetables, as well as white meat chicken and beef. There are several sauces to add as well, but I generally avoid the sugar water one. It is all you can eat when you dine in, so you can go up multiple times. Since we were able to go up multiple times, I was definitely full by the time I was done after three visits. They were quick for refills as needed and the clearing of used plates too. Overall, the service and food were good. I had no issues while there. One thing that I would have hoped for was to have seafood options like shrimp or scallops as well. The pricing is good for what you get here as I was here during the early dinner time. If you're looking for a place that has Mongolian BBQ, this is a solid place to come and check out.

I love this place!! Nice and quiet atmosphere, I get to choose where I sit, and I'm always cozy. The pho is amazing especially the broth ❤️. I've only been three times but each time hasn't disappointed me yet. Definitely planning on a fourth trip later this week or next week!!!

Amazing! Best pho I’ve ever had. Love the spring rolls. Kind staff. Cozy restaurant. Stumbled across it randomly in November and we’ve been back at least 6 times since.

I had high hopes for this restaurant since it's in close proximity to my house. Unfortunately, I was disappointed and unlikely to return. I ordered Vegetable fried rice and added a request to include less broccoli and more mushrooms. Well...it doesn't generally include either SO they charged me an extra $2. Barring these two [added] vegetables, there was really only onions. So I guess Vegetable fried rice means rice with onions. But wait... the bigger issue really lies in the fact that there was MORE broccoli than mushrooms. I had what would be equivalent to 1 mushroom in my fried rice. To make matters worse... it was flavorless. Bland. Unseasoned. 😒 The Vegetable pancit was just ok. But it too was flavorless. Bland and unseasoned. I mean soy sauce can only do so much. 🙄

Ordered ribs. Egg foo yung n chicken wings. Ribs were tough too much broccoli in the egg food yung. Wings were good.

We had our event catered by Pollards. The delivery person was on time, respectful, answered all our questions. The food was well displayed, and very good. Would have Pollards cater our next event.

Our company ordered Pollards' boxed lunches for our employees and we were extremely impressed with our entire experience. It was very simple to order online, with several options to choose from (we narrowed it down to three). Once we ordered, we were sent a confirmation email and itemized list of everything we selected. The driver arrived to our building early and the delivery process was flawless. The individual boxes were labeled, which made it super easy for employees to identify their meal. The boxes even had a tamper evident seal on them. Not to mention the actual food was awesome too! From portion size to quality to price, everything was perfect. We have some very satisfied (and well fed) employees. I highly recommend their catering and will be ordering from them again.

I ordered the shrimp fried rice. I was given hard scorned rice. This was my 1st time going and will be my last. Never seen a Chinese restaurant not properly cook rice. Please save your money and anywhere but here. I have provided the pictures showing it was uncooked.

Great food and dine-in experience. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to go here. They do not deliver (you can pick up your food, though), and it's not a buffet - so I have no clue what a lot of the one-star reviews are about. There may be some delivery services that pick up from here, but I don't know because I'm not lazy.

So this is my first time here and I was not disappointed at all. The Mongolian beef was absolutely perfect and the chicken wings were absolutely fire. Me and my wife will definitely be back. Great place for chill date nights. Service was great and quick.

My Grandma wanted to take the family out to lunch and she wanted to give this a try as it looked like a good spot. We came in the waitress was very patient and friendly and took our orders for large group of people. Several of my family members also have dairy and gluten dietary restrictions and our waitress was extremely helpful in choosing dishes they could eat. I ended up choosing beef fried rice which was possibly the best fried rice I have ever eaten. Also I highly recommend the almond milk tea it is delicious.

First time ordering here. Thought based off reviews it would have been decent but it was not good. Anything fried tasted pre-frozen and not fresh at all. Stale fried shrimp, wonton chips and egg roll. The crab Rangoon might have been the worst especially for the price. Filling is minimal and it’s literally only cream cheese and no crab. No website, no online ordering and no delivery. Guess the search continues for good Chinese food in VA beach.

The best chinese in the red mill/oceana area! We’ve been here for three years and have never found a legit american staple chinese restaurant, until now. We are VERY picky with our fried rice, most places around here do yellow rice or white rice and never have pork. This place had pork, had the flavor but it tasted like it was still a yellow rice, plus it didn’t have veggies/egg in the rice. That is the only reason I’m knocking off a star. I hope this review helps for any other chinese snobs such as myself and have been displeased with every where else in the area 😄

This place is typical Filipino turo-turo restaurant with seating available for dine in, although there are tables where chairs are still on tables untouched from previous day closing time. Ambiance is definitely uninviting. There's always a line here and the reason is that the customers are allowed to take their good old time to decide and then chit chat (tsismis time!) with the server/cashier. Today they lost 4 customers in line behind me because of the wait! You can choose small, medium or large containers or entree items, not clear if rice is an extra item (unlike other places where you pick rice or pancit with your entrees). I chose beef steak and sinigang (vegetable with pork sour soup). The beef steak was super salty. The sinigang only had a couple of pieces of pork. The turon (fried bananas) are good.

I LOVE this Maymar! The food is always fresh and delectable, they give you nice portions, & the food isn’t expensive. The customer service is great!!! I love the coconut chicken & I’d love for them to make it everyday lol Go try them out you won’t be disappointed!!!
