Always fresh. I give them 10 out of 5 stars. My absolute favorite Chinese takeout in town. I usually get the lunch special. Entree of choice, fried rice then choice of egg roll or choice of soup. MY FAVORITE IS BEEF AND BROCCOLI, FRIED RICE, EGG DROP SOUP.

They have the best smoothies. Your best bet if you’re gonna get pork fried rice to get extra meat so they freshen it up a bit for you. I think they serve out of a big pan that’s already pre-cooked. I found the same with the sesame chicken. But crab Rangoon are the best. And the chicken on the stick is really good too.

This used to be our go-to restaurant for take out. A few weeks ago, I ordered the bang bang shrimp and found a bug in my food. I took it back and they only gave me a refund for the one item. We obviously had no desire to eat anything else after that. We won’t be back.

2024 EDIT- No more homemade sauces, 2 point deduction. Well, I completely understand the previous reviewers praise. I was more than impressed with the quality of the food I received. Deliciously legit egg rolls. Crispy wontons, house sauces* and overly satisfying sezchwan chicken. And as far as service goes, I found the order taker to be very polite and more then willing to except my order even as it was fairly close to closing. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to this location since 2016 and I have had it for dine in, take out and it has always been sooo delicious. Even me hosting a no-cooking event for mother days and catering from china village☺️. They are super friendly and the food is exquisite always ! My favorite are chicken/beef and broccoli with steamed rice, sweet and sour chicken, pepper steak, combination lo-mein, egg drop soup ( my children’s favorite ) and we could go on ! You should definitely try it out, completely recommend 💯🙌🏾🙏🏽 Much continue success to china village and you will always see us !

This experience was extremely disappointing. After spending over $60 on food, I simply asked for some hot oil and was met with attitude and poor service. The container I was given looked old, barely filled, and of very low quality. When I asked if that was all I would receive for such a large order, I was told, “Oh, we charge for it, man,” with no prior notice — something I was unaware of since my girlfriend placed the original order. I returned to the store only to find they were charging $1 for a small, poorly filled container of oil that looked unappetizing (the oil looked like pus). It’s frustrating to know that customers dining in receive better service and free condiments, while takeout customers are treated this way. Moving forward, I’ll gladly drive across the street and take my business to Master Wok at the mall instead of contributing to the survival of a place that provides such poor customer service and low-quality products.

I tried this restaurant for the first time today and let me tell you.. the food here is DELICIOUS!!! Its prices are very convenient.. and the service was wonderful! They were very keen on making sure I got everything I asked for. I will definitely be eating here again!

I can't believe this place gets anything less than a 5 star rating. I eat here all the time. The vegetarian menu is amazing and I have never ordered a single bad dish. I recommend the kwachic and a side of broccoli!

Pre-COVID it was one of my top two favorites (Panda West closed). But after COVID, they cheapened everything, especially the chicken. Its fatty, you’re constantly pulling it apart to get the meat off the fat. The dishes I get went downhill in general - chicken with cashew, chicken with mixed vegetables (veg mix doesn’t have the variety that it used to), and what used to be my favorite orange chicken is inedible due to the bad chicken. And shrimp is mushy, everything seems reheated and not fresh. I miss the old food so much! Cheapening things will not keep customers!

We have ordered from Oriental Express for our Thanksgiving. It has always been delicious, hot and ready on time.

I have been ordered takeout from this place since 2019. At least twice a week no complaints at all. The lady owner is very nice always with smiles on her face and she asked the chef to customize my order without extra charge. When I ordered more, she even offered me a discount. The food quality is fairly well and I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is the absolute worst Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered Won ton soup which tasted like Diet Dr..Pepper, pork spare ribs which looked like carrots and tasted like cardboard, and kung Pao chicken. All of them were terrible. I can't understand how this place is still in business. If you are reading this review and considering ordering please don't. It's really really bad.

Came here a few days ago for dinner service. When we walked in, we were greeted with kindness. When we got to our table, it smelt like straight up like bleach and it was wet and we asked the server if she could wipe it down to dry. The smell of bleach was still pretty strong. That we had to ask for new utensils because it had gotten onto them. When we got to the food. Everything looked good from a distance, but up close it was not as pleasant. I had gotten a couple pieces of sushi. The avocado was turning brown on all of them. And they were not cold. And when I got to the entrée. I did a small variety of each dish. And once I sat down and ate, everything was cold, bland, and unappetizing. Me and my boyfriend were literally gagging. So, we both decided to ask for the check within less than 20 minutes of being there. We did not want to seem rude, but we did not tip. And the waitress (I also want to add she was not our waitress at first. She just came to get the check) got really offended by this. We spent approximately $40 for the two of us! Honestly, it was a total waste of time and money.! I have been to other buffet restaurants which I come out happy but this had to be honestly one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Unremarkable is the best description. All preparations made in the traditional sense. Way too many "American" offerings for an Asian buffet. Nothing tasted bad. Space was clean. Staff was attentive.

We love chopsticks house, it’s one of the best Chinese places in the area. A little concerned though because I ordered on April 18 2025 for my family, and my dad got a piece of a metal cleaning brush in his food. Thank goodness he noticed and didn’t swallow it.

Best Chinese food in Reston. If you’re looking for New York style Chinese then this is the spot. Their Singapore rice noodles have the perfect balance of savory and spice. My go to spot

It has been awhile since we've had China King ever since the great reduction of many locations. Thought we would try it again, results were not the same... Beef and Broccoli - Super salty and the beef was extremely chewy. House Special Lo Mein - Mainly carbs, barely any protein, if I had to put it into a ratio for comparison 8:2. House Special Fried Rice - Same as the lo mein. Orange Chicken - Mostly batter, chicken was on the drier side, honestly doesn't even taste like Orange Chicken but more like a cross between Sweet & Sour Chicken with a mix of General Tso chicken. Teriyaki Chicken - A little lost with this one, nothing was teriyaki about it but more like Kung Pao Chicken minus the dry chili papers. Hot and Sour Soup - mehhh.

Visited for the first time in 15 years and it’s just as good as before. Kung pao is the way

I love them because of a few reasons like there portion sizes are good, they charge reasonably, the staff is courteous and friendly, they will offer sample in case you’re in doubt. The food is ALWAYS fresh.

Two ladies at the front were very courteous, they load your plate up with food for a ridiculously low price, I paid 10.49 with tax for this behemoth

Good food, good prices, overall a good restaurant for Chinese food. Giving 4 stars for having only carry out, after pandemic 99% of restaurants are offering dine in also but not this place. Recommended.

My wife loves the Mongolian Beef from here and the rest of the food is decent. You can't go wrong ordering some standard Chinese take out from the China Garden. It is tucked in the back of regal Village.
