Orient Express
Soso good, the food is so yummy and there’s people there who speak fluent good English, and some Spanish. The people are so sweet and joyful, their crab rangoons are my favorite. I come here literally every week, definitely should go. And their shrimp chop-sui is sosososo good, so so buss
The best place in town! Friendly staff and delicious food. We tend to have large orders and food is always correct and hot! Dine and take out are both great. Large portions for a great price!
New Dragon Cafe Inc
We got the harvest shrimp. It was ok. The egg rolls were ok. But the shrimp wontons were terrible. They literally had nothing in them. I kinda wondered if the filling leaked out wh.en they fried them? They were $10 and literally nothing in them.
Dragon Cafe has become my absolute favorite for takeout. My go to is the #18 Combo, Kung Pow Chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. The egg rolls are to die for. If you haven’t tried their food, you’re missing out. The service is always great too.
Fong's Restaurant & Bar
I ordered Gen Tao Chicken. The sauce was perfect and vegs fresh and nicely sautéed. My only complaint was the rice was cold and the chicken texture was like it had been put thru a tenderizer machine which makes the texture different than I like it. My dinner was $18+. My husband had the stir fry shrimp and scallops with vegetables. He said was excellent. His cost $21+. So with tip our meal was like $53 for the two of us. That is generally on the high end for us. But it was a lovely place for a nice date.
Sharing pics of the delicious Moo Goo Gai Pan I ordered last night. Had arrived early for a meeting so I could enjoy supper with others. The staff has always been attentive, and last night I think they’re starting to recognize me. I think I’ve only been there three times. Food does not disappoint and the staff does a good job of anticipating your needs. I would suggest not ordering the same thing every time you go just so that you can get a better idea of what they have to offer. Until next time …
Super Dragon Chinese Restaurant
I went there on Christmas Day and it was the only Chinese Restaurant open near my area. They were packed but they still did their best to get my order to me quickly. The girl at the counter was super nice and patient despite the rush and the food was amazing! Everything was nice and hot and we were stuffed. Definitely returning in the future.
We've been regular customers since February 2008, and Super Dragon never fails to satisfy. This evening I phoned in my order from the road, and my food was ready minutes after I arrived. From the delicious Hot/Sour soup 🍲, to my wonderful egg rolls 🫔, to the specially prepared spicy Beef 🥩& broccoli 🥦 🥡🥠, everything was excellent. We are so happy that this wonderful family restaurant weathered the pandemic and are still providing ❤️ in every dish. May the years bring you more success!
D. Fong's Chinese Cuisine David Fong's Savage
I liked the original Fong’s in Bloomington, but it closed. D.Fong’s, as far as I can tell, is about the same menu. Good food. Small seating area. We got seated quickly and served quickly on a Saturday night. I liked it. I’d certainly eat here again if I’m in the area. Thanks for the great service!
We arrived at 7:40pm, door says open until 8 in which we knew. We tried to get a table and the lady in the front said they were done serving tables for the rest of the night but we could take an order to go….. we live 45 mins away, we did not want a order to go. If you say you are open till 8 you serve in house or take out until 8 pm or advertise you stop seating at 7:40 pm. We knew what we wanted and would’ve ordered right away and been out by 8pm. We normally come during the day and have never been dissatisfied but because of this experience we will not be back.
China City
If you’re not wanting to cook for the night and want a quick bite to eat, this is the place! Not super fancy by any means, but quick, affordable and fresh! I ordered the Mongolian beef and it came with rice and egg roll. I ordered the beef medium hot and it was just that! If you’re a true Minnesotan, you might want to order “little” spice. The fried rice was plain but it complimented the Mongolian beef well. I loved the egg roll! It had this peppery-ness to it, but not spicy. Overall we are pleased and will recommend this place. Bugles bugles.
Never tried this, figured I’d stop in on my way home for lunch. Service was great. Took them only 10 minutes to cook up my food which was also great. I ordered the orange chicken lunch special that comes with fried rice and then an order of vegetable lo mein on the side. The lo mein is very good, big container. The orange chicken i like as well, the fried rice is a bit different from the usual rice i’m used to but it still tastes good. Overall good food and good experience.
Handy Kitchen
10/10 on American Chinese food, and I’m from NYC. I am actually a blogger on social media and a chef. I am from NY And American Cantonese and Szechuan was all around me growing up. This by FAR surpasses any of the Chinese food I have eaten in the last seven years since moving to Vermont , then to mass, now here to SW Va. I could go on about flavor, timing , and service but I’ll spare you the even more drawn out review and just saw it’s all VERY good. The food has a really good flavor. I suggest , if you order and are expecting spicy food, ask them to make it to the hottest of their ability, (trust me you won’t die ) and try the hot and sour soup. It’s perfect. I didn’t even have to add hot sauce, sesame oil, or anything, it was perfect,. We will definitely be back, thanks!
They deserve more business their food is really good and it's authentic, I would definitely come here again . . .
Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet
No tip no service is what the waiter told us when I told manager he said that's how she makes money. I understand if you get tips but it's not mandatory in Kentucky or the US and is up to the customer if we would leave one. We had three drinks she gave us two and rolled her eyes when I asked where the third one was and told me if I don't leave tips I get no service. Everytime we come it's same additude and poor service with the same waiter.
The food was cold, everything had no flavor, cold. The waiter was rushing us to pay the bill when we weren’t done eating. Even the salt and pepper and soy sauce tasted expired. Definitely won’t come again
Hong Kong Buffet
All I can say is wow. I can not believe how good everything here was! Buffets like this are my favorite and I go to many. I have been very disappointed most places I go lately but this was the best I have been to in a very long time. Reminded me of when I was young and first started coming to them. It was so good I even tried things I normally would not. Even the ice cream was really good! The price is very reasonable with dinner costing 14.49 and lunch 12.29. including drink. I will definitely come back and I live about 40 mins away. I hope this place never changes any thing it's doing because it's on point🔥🔥🔥
People are very friendly, we were late with my husband and we ask for more egg cakes, if they had by any chance, the guy asked how many we wanted and they made for us, that was really nice from them. We like the food., it looks clean. We are coming back.
Panda Express
This is so bad I can't believe they're don't expect the gift card that was so sad
I spent $20 on a combo meal of orange chicken and a beef dish, with a soda to drink. Both items had obviously been sitting in a warmer, under a heat lamp, or in a hot well for hours. They were absolutely sub par, and if I were from corporate I would either consider sending a training staff, or just closing the location because this is not typical of the brand and is damaging the reputation of the brand. Just plain gross.
Leeann Chin
I’ve tried this location several times, it’s rare that I DONT have issues. There’s a man that seems to be a manager maybe owner, very aggressive, it’s very obvious that he hates his job and hates everything else in the world. Today’s experience I have black flakes in both meals (orange chicken and lemon chicken), they had a strong smoke smell and our first and only bites tasted like smoke. It was completely inedible and went straight to the trash. I’ve given the Savage location so many chances, but this was the last straw.
Placed an online order, they replaced the white rice with brown, as they were out of white rice (an hour before they closed, should have made more,) they didn't call to tell me they were out of rice and see if I still wanted my order. I wanted my money back and asked for it when I went to pick up my order. The worker said the manager could do that and wouldn't be in until Sunday. I tried calling a couple times on Sunday, left a message for the manager to call me back (she was busy one of the times, and on break another,) but she never called me back. I just want my money back for the order I placed that wasn't fullfilled.
