Golden House
ROACHES !!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered for delivery. The food took an hour to get here mind you I live 10 minutes away when I finally got the food and opened the bag. There was a cockroach laying right at the top. $45 later. $45 down the drain. They yelled at me on the phone when I asked for a refund, said that I couldn’t be them or their store with the roaches must be my house ?!?! I told them come inspect my house. It’s spotless never had roaches mice. Nothing but I told him let me go down and record and walk around the store . So I went there brought the food back had my camera on and they just gave me a refund and gave me attitude, but before I had a camera on, they refuse to give me a refund. NASTY ROACH INFESTED
I waited 55 minutes for the worst food I’ve ever paid for in my life. I’m truly amazed how do you serve General Tso’s chicken w no chicken in it. Fried rice is hard as ice. Spring roll is from the grocery store. I’m like dang. Disrespectful. 😂 I’m not ordering Chinese again this was my last attempt in life yall.
Panda Express
The restaurant doesn't have enough seating. The line to get food moved quickly, but I waited to pay. The food was freshly made and delicious.
My hubby brought me a plate with half white rice/ half vegetables, orange and sweet fire chicken. The chicken was great except for the last piece, which was very old, and couldn't be chewed. The vegetables were awful. I wanted just 4 or 5 pieces of broccoli. The lady serving him refused the request. Instead, I got a side with lots of cabbage, a little broccoli, and some leafy greens. The broccoli was mostly old, and so were the leafy greens. They were mostly olive in color instead of bright green when fresh, and the whole vegetable side was overly salty. If people don't want the vegetables, they should be discarded and not sit there to get old looking and tasting. This should also be balanced and not mostly cabbage. And she put so much on the plate that half was under my chicken, which ended up being a smaller than normal portion size. Finally, the servers need to be friendlier instead of rude. I am not sure I want to go back to this restaurant. I never have issues like that at the Woodbridge location.
Feng's Garden
We stopped by here recently while traveling through town. Being vegetarians, we ordered the vegetable chow mei fun (thin rice noodles), the Szechuan-style bean curd, vegetable fried rice, and steamed white rice. The entrees were quickly made to order and came out piping hot. All were delicious! The vegetable chow mei fun was the right combination of salty and flavorful, while the Szechuan bean curd was best served over the rice. Note: the 5-star rating here is based solely on the quality of the food one might expect from a strip mall Chinese takeout restaurant. The decor of the restaurant itself is utilitarian and fairly typical. But if you're taking the food to go, as most will, then it's of no matter. :)
A decent place, good food, and service without so much delay. I definitely love how they do General Tso's chiken
New Hunan
Ew!!! This place is so overpriced, and the food is gross! This is my order of Mongolian beef and my stomach hurts so bad after trying to eat it. It looks like I ordered onions with a small side of beef. Where is the meat?! I attached a picture of the onion to meat ratio. And this cost $16. If you want fried rice, that is 1.50 extra. The "fried" rice is literally steamed rice with soy sauce added in. There's so many cheaper options nearby. Never again!
I always order the beef lo mein, orange chicken (not too spicy), and egg rolls, and they never disappoint! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Great portions and quick service. Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious Chinese takeout!
Ming’s Cafe
Owners are super nice. Food's a fair price for the portion size. Meat is freshly cooked when you order. I got basil fried rice and it was really solid. Overall a nice place in a convenient location that's worth going to or at least getting delivered. (One of the owners, Steve, personally loves the delivery and pickup orders because he can make sure the quality control is always to his standards.)
I recently tried Ming’s Cafe in Bristow, hoping for something flavorful and authentic. While the service was friendly and the experience was fair overall, I found the food to be underwhelming. Everything I ordered tasted very similar—bland, lacking the bold flavors I usually associate with good Chinese cuisine. It felt more like a generic take on Chinese food than something rooted in traditional cooking. I appreciate the effort, but I was left wishing for more depth and distinction in the dishes.
Mandarin Court
This spot is doing Chinese and Japanese cuisine, and I tried to try a bit of both to see what it was all about. The owner was very friendly, and was the one making the sushi. The sushi was interesting, the California Roll was simple, basic, however the rice was definitely a bit more on the mushy side, over cooked for sure. The Spider Roll was very different that what I'm used to as it had a large Romaine Lettuce leaf incorporated into the roll. I always like to try new things, but not sure if it worked... The Chicken Corn Soup w/ the crispy Wontons and Sweet & Sour Sauce were exceptionally delicious. I also ordered Chicken in Garlic Sauce from the Lunch Special Menu, and requested it to be a bit spicier. Oh that was yummy, as I loved their house Chili Oil as well.
Incredibly delicious & amazing food! I highly recommend this family owned business! The owner & staff are super sweet & were happy to answer any questions about the menu. The choice of Chinese & Japanese cuisine is a great combination & pleases both my husband & I, he orders Chinese & I order sushi! The spicy salmon rolls are addicting & I could eat those forever! The sushi is fresh, beautifully made, & worth the price!
Asian Garden
We had an excellent meal served by a kind and attentive waiter, Steve. My son has literally been a weekly customer for years. He loves their sushi/ sashimi. Tonight we had crab, cheese filled wonton & spring rolls, to start. I had chicken and corn soup. Our meal to share was lo mein, garlic beef, and General Tso’s chicken. Everything was excellent.
I come here all the time for 15 years to get sushi it used to be the best sushi. But last week I order sushi it is low quality and bad sushi. I don’t know what happen to Chef John. Does anybody know where he went I will follow because the sushi and spicy mayo was so good. I am sad that he left I travel 40 minutes just to get sushi from him every week. Now what am I going to do without his sushi.
China Gourmet
This place is OLD SCHOOL Chinese complete with a full tiki drink menu! Just like in the 1950s! So cool and the food was great! I had the curry with chicken and fried rice and just about blew myself up because I couldn’t stop eating it.
A good place for Chinese food in Dale City This restaurant is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Dale Blvd and Minnieville Road. It is in a reasonably large set of stores in the middle of the group of businesses. The parking is uncovered parking lot that all the stores directly open onto. There is plenty of parking for all the stores in this lot. Our group ordered takeout from this location and I picked it up. The inside of the restaurant had a large foyer at the front of the restaurant that seemed to occupy about ⅓ of the space. There were about 6 booths lining the walls and several tables in the central seating area. There were not many people eating in the dining area but they had a healthy stream of customers picking up takeout. There did not seem to be much staff but the ones present were very friendly. The food was a little late from the time that they told us it would be ready. The food was reasonably priced and portion sizes were good. The food was very good. Overall, for the price, amount, and staff friendliness, I would visit this location in the future and recommend it to fellow travelers with the suggestion that the time the food will be ready should be viewed as an approximation. Enjoy.
Top China
They received 4 stars on atmosphere because it’s clean inside. Everything else is 1 star for me. They false advertise chicken wings. A chicken wing is considered a whole wing. I ordered 4 wings with shrimp fried rice. They gave me 4 pieces of wingettes for the price I would pay anywhere else for the same order, except they don’t give you whole wings. The shrimp was separated from the rice, they literally packed the food as if they were angry with a paying customer. I’m glad I checked my food. I returned their food and asked for a refund. I wouldn’t go back here at all.
Easily the best Chinese food I’ve had in the area. The fried rice was awesome and the General Tso’s Chicken was really good too. I opted for the spring roll instead of the egg roll because the egg roll has shrimp in it, and I’ve got to say, it was one of the best spring rolls I’ve ever tasted. The restaurants setup is geared towards takeout and isn’t particularly inviting for dine in, but there is some seating. I look forward to eating here again in the near future! I recommend this restaurant.
Good Taste Express Chinese Restaurant
If you love shrimp you have to get the shrimp General Tao it is so good. We get it every time we come here for take out, the beef broccoli is good the broccoli is a little over cooked but the taste is good. We also love the General Tao chicken. The fried rice is a hard pass it has no flavor. White rice is good. Chinese style noodles have lots of flavor but they give you the side of crisps.
First time getting food from here! I was around the area for work and was looking for a place that had good rice noodles! The guy on the phone was very nice and helpful! I got the rice noodles with beef! I do like that they only do curbside pick up and their food seems fresh! Honestly I’m happy with my order! Rice noodles are flavorful and they give you a nice portion! I would come back again if and when I’m in the area again!
Hunan Garden
Customer service is terrible. Food is mediocre at best. Food is expensive and not worth it! I definitely won't be ordering from Hunan Garden ever again!
yummy food, came out hot and quickly. will go again 😄
China House
The cream cheese wantons should be the only reason to come to this place. The beef and broccoli tasted like burnt oil and lost dreams. The low mein was mid at best but you could still taste the unsanitary conditions on the noodles themselves. The food was poorly seasoned and tasted thickly of oil I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Surprisingly, good food! It's really tasty. I ordered beef in garlic sauce, delicious. The service was just as good. That surprised me, too! 😆 Price was very affordable also. Great place! I wish we had bone like this on Baltimore.
