I never write reviews but figured I should warn others. We ordered food for lunch to go on May 29th 2024. Halfway through eating my broccoli with brown sauce, I discovered a roach in my food.. looks like it was in the brown sauce. We messaged Jade Garden before writing this review and got no response. See photos…

Super good! First time eating here and the food was pretty good as well as the customer service. But i will say the fries weren’t all that but who cares lol, definitely would come back!

One of the best Chinese take-out restaurants in the area, bar none. I got the pepper steak and onion this time. General Tso last time. The flavor was all there, as well, it was piping hot. The service at the counter and on the phone is always good. They are always very friendly. See you very soon!

I ordered a General Tso tofu with brown rice and a small vegetable fried rice. I do not have anything to compare the tofu to as I was trying it for the first time but it wasn’t flavorful at all even in the sauce and it was chewy and hard in some spots. Parts of my brown rice was hard and vegetable fried rice must mean ONIONS with under cooked peas and carrots none of the vegetables were cooked thoroughly not even the broccoli everything had a crunch the color of the peas should have been a dead give away 😩 I was so hungry but this lunch was a let down maybe I will have to go later in the day for better taste and quality. I arrived at about 11:30 for lunch ordered in store and waited for my food 🤷🏾‍♀️

We used to love Foon’s, especially their pan fried dumplings. But over the past twenty years the quality of their food has declined significantly. Our last 4 orders have been incredibly disappointing. Each time containing burnt dumplings. Tonight’s order draws the line. We ordered our usual 3 orders of dumplings and everyone of them was Burnt black, so bad that they stink. Please see picture.

They only serve sushi on certain days. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere overall. Friendly waiting staff and reasonably priced! Wife wasn't too happy with the taste of the curry as it tasted more Indian style rather than Japanese style; Not really a bad thing, she just had different expectations when ordering.

Came here with my boyfriend to get some ramen and it was a very great experience! Even thought the place was pretty filled, it was very clean and with a calm atmosphere, the waitress who got our order was very kind and polite. We didn't had to wait so long for our food to arrive, the ramen was very delicious, I could even say it's the best one I've ever tried. If you're looking for a good ramen place to go, this is the perfect option!! (Also I loved the anime themed posters)

didnt realize this was in the plaza so tried it out. ordering online was easy. i got a text when it was done. went in, told her my order, went out. fortune cookies arent included, i think it’s a very small charge. i think these were rib tips and pork lo mein. superrr tasty. containers are microwaveable if you want to save as leftovers too! i recommend!

Super China has been my go-to spot for Chinese in Norfolk for over a decade. The general tso's chicken combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll and chicken in garlic sauce combo are my absolute faves and are only $10.65 (before tax). This place is takeout only with a large menu. Canned and bottled beverages are available for purchase as well. Photos from various visits include: 1) Pint of chicken lo mein (served in a bowl) 2) Pineapple chicken combination plate (included pineapple, carrots, and green peppers) in a sweet sauce 3) Chicken in garlic sauce combination plate (included broccoli, carrots, green peppers, onion, and water chestnuts) in a spicy garlic sauce 4) General tso's chicken combination plate with a spicy sauce

The original owners are gone. the new staff was clueless the online ordering, says restaurant closed. the menu has been cut by half. ordered by phone, the restaurant tells me 15-20. 1 hour later, I'm sitting in the packed restaurant food, not ready, then food comes out in a Kimchee lee bag. so now we know who's running the restaurant. get home had the orange chicken, it was horrible. The glaze was bitter loaded with orange peel. the breaded chicken was tough. the fried rice was orange, not fried tasted like Spanish rice. ordered spare ribs, and they were so overcooked that I could barely pull the meat off. then all the different egg rolls gone from the menu. the only one left is pork. they tasted exactly like ones on sale at the food lion next door. the only good thing was the crab Rangoon. there has obviously been an ownership change. The sign says #1 China if you've eaten here before don't go again nearly all the old menu is gone. the service is slow the man at the counter is clueless. and the cook who isn't Asian has no idea how to cook Chinese food.

I ordered a few items from the menu when the ownership first changed and everything was great, I was impressed with the flavor and quality of the food. Fast forward a few months... I order the hibachi chicken, and it is quite literally the worst take out Chinese meal I have ever tried. It tasted like frozen pre-cooked chicken, frozen broccoli (yes, these were the only two main ingredients), and sauce were just microwaved together in a bowl. I could not get further than 2 pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of broccoli before giving up. We also tried the sushi which is actually okay for the price point. I've ordered from here 3 times since the change of ownership, and the drop in quality each visit has been significant. I can't bring myself to giving it a 4th try in the future.
