Top's China Chinese Restaurant
Food was great. Prices seem a bit higher than I’m used to, but I was ok with it because the quality was so good.
Customer service horrible, very condescending. You don’t laugh at people and talk about them as you hand them their food. That makes them think you have done something to their food.
Wah Wah Chinese Restaurant
What a lovely restaurant! The food here is super tasty, and the welcome is warm. I had the triple delight, which consists of beef, chicken and shrimp served in a beautifully seasoned sauce. It was so tasty! Mrs. H had a super tasty lo mein. The ambience is worthy of a "Saturday night out" and there is a good choice of alcohol. I am 100% happy to recommend this wonderful Chinese restaurant.
Iv had food from here twice now. it is not bad. it is very mid though. the crab rangoon are always hard like they are stale, and the egg rolls remind me of the walmart egg rolls that sit out for hours. so many better places to go, but it will do in a pinch or if you dont want to go further.
Yen Ching Hull Street
Went during a weekday lunch, very pretty decor and quiet atmosphere. Full drink menu was available, not just beer and wine. Started off with a hot and sour soup appetizer, which was flavorful and full of ingredients. For an entrée I ordered the happy family- beef, chicken, shrimp and scallops in brown sauce, with a side of fried rice. A huge heaping portion that I couldn't finish all of, and super delicious. The only two knocks for the meal were the rice- it wasn't exactly fried and just tasted like white rice that had been tossed in soy sauce or something? Still tasted fine, just wasn't really fried. The other thing being one of the scallops in the meal wasn't properly cleaned so it had gritty sand/ pebbles or something attached to it still. No big deal, it didn't ruin the rest of the food, I just avoided eating that one. It happens. My server was super attentive and sweet, food and drinks both came out quickly. Overall a great dining experience.
All we have had there is the General Tso's Chicken and it was absolutely out of this world delicious! Love the light breading, the sauce, and love love the fresh ginger in it 👍🏼
Lucky | Chinese Restaurant
This place was great, I’ve ordered Chinese from a few other places around Hull street and this one is by far my favorite. Everything is made fresh when you order and the food was flavorful, portions were good as well. We ordered large sizes and share and we will have plenty left for tomorrow.
We ordered $9 crab rangoons, and got fried bread with barely any filler. We called the restaurant and was told that the manager will call us back. The manager called us back within minutes and argued with my husband the whole time and said there was nothing she could do, and that in her 20-30 years of owning the restaurant no one has ever complained about the crab rangoons. The rest of the food was good, but will probably not order from them again.
China Dragon
My beef n Broccoli 😤 the meat was still red n nasty as hell. The egg rolls was good but very oily. The lady at the front counter was rude as hell over the phone & also when I went to pick up, she even tried to snatch my phone out my hand for Apple Pay. I would never go back!
The workers are sooo rude, like is not my fault u dont wanna do ur job, always shouting and doing to much. Hope this place get torn down.
