Szechuan Gourmet Restaurant
I asked for soft vegetables in my Shrimp chow mein and it was done and delicious. Portions were great. My new restaurant. Thank you
The couple that runs this shop are so sweet. The food is great, if you're actually eating it warm! Always amazing portions, amazing service, and friendly smiles. if you like *actual* asian pork, try it! If you like American pork, you will likely not. People that give this place 1 star reviews for appetizers are clearly reviewing the wrong aspects. Never been disappointed, even better if you pick the food up yourself and it's fresh
Panda Express
The restaurant doesn't have enough seating. The line to get food moved quickly, but I waited to pay. The food was freshly made and delicious.
My hubby brought me a plate with half white rice/ half vegetables, orange and sweet fire chicken. The chicken was great except for the last piece, which was very old, and couldn't be chewed. The vegetables were awful. I wanted just 4 or 5 pieces of broccoli. The lady serving him refused the request. Instead, I got a side with lots of cabbage, a little broccoli, and some leafy greens. The broccoli was mostly old, and so were the leafy greens. They were mostly olive in color instead of bright green when fresh, and the whole vegetable side was overly salty. If people don't want the vegetables, they should be discarded and not sit there to get old looking and tasting. This should also be balanced and not mostly cabbage. And she put so much on the plate that half was under my chicken, which ended up being a smaller than normal portion size. Finally, the servers need to be friendlier instead of rude. I am not sure I want to go back to this restaurant. I never have issues like that at the Woodbridge location.
Panda Cafe
I would say this place is pretty good. Not amazing, but great in all aspects. I ordered a take-out, for the first time trying this place. I got the chicken with broccoli and some shrimp fried rice. Both large, the total came out to $26. The Shrimp Fried Rice was pretty good - not amazing. It seemed like it was a bit under-cooked, or maybe left out too long (?) because the rice had a crunchy texture to it, in the middle. The Chicken with Broccoli was great. It has a very strong pronounced front flavor, similar to that which you get when you add A1 or Teriyaki sauce to something. You can tell there's an extreme frontal flavor, not a blended smooth flavor. The meat was nice and tender, and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. Not too mushy and not stiff. It was great, and I'd give it a 8/10. There was a nice even balance of meat to vegetables. There were no condiments in the bag, or plastic-ware. The staff were very helpful, happy, and polite. All things considered, I still prefer my go-to spot at China Star, but since they are closed on Mondays, I will keep this place in mind for future visits, because the food was decent and the people were kind.
This is, by far, the best Chinese food I've ever had. And I am a big guy who obviously eats way too much and loves to order takeout. Especially Chinese food and sushi. This is my third/4th order, and each time, I have not been disappointed. These pan dumplings are HANDMADE!! ( I already ate one in the picture.) Eggroll are crispy and REAL. not like some places you see. Bourbon chicken...to die for!! Everything tastes so fresh, so real, and mouth watering. Let's put it this way... if you order from here... everyone else's Chinese food will taste bland and gross.
Hunan Gourmet
The food was so bland, tasteless. We got salt and pepper calamari- it was so salty. The veggie fried rice was so bad, the veggies were old and tasted sour. The lo mein was soggy and tasteless. Szechuan shrimp was overcooked. Only thing that was some what ok. The girl in the front was very sweet but was Very disappointed with the food quality.
Wanted something quick for lunch. Egg roll was crispy with fresh veggies, I’d order them again. Ordered dumplings but the dough was too thick and I wouldn’t I order them again.
Flaming Buffet
Flaming Buffet is one of my favorite restaurants in NOVA. I visited the restaurant almost biweekly after the pandemic crisis. The food is great with huge selection and good quality. The service is prompt and polite. Overall it’s a place to enjoy meals with high CP value and pleasure.
Good buffet for the price Sunday $17.99 plus tax. They have sushi and hibachi too. Dessert is good with mocha cake and mocha cream and ice cream
Wu's Garden
I love it! I've ordered multiple times from Wu's and it's become my favorite place for Chinese takeout. The portions are large and well worth the price, and the food is flavorful. I haven't had a bad meal or experience from there so far :)
Carry out…Egg fu yung was awful. Edges were burnt, patty was dry and a lot of grease. Gravy was watered down. Call the restaurant to inform them about my meal. The individual I spoke with was very arrogant🙄
Hunan Cafe
First time trying hunan cafe and it was delicious! I got the chicken mei fun and the combination fried rice. It was the perfect amount and we were all full! The flavor was amazing and it was healthy with no msg and freshly cooked. The cashier was friendly and it was a great experience!
I was visiting family in the area last weekend and decided to pickup dinner there on Saturday evening. To my surprise the restaurant was very clean, even the bathroom was clean. Their combo fried rice is the best I’ve had in a while. Beef with broccoli is tender. Egg rolls are also really good. Decent portion size and reasonable price. Wished the Chinese food back at home is half as good.
China Star
Bro,This food was so good. I have been reviewing every Chinese food in this city and nothing comes better than this one
This is my 2nd favorite restaurant in Manassas. The staff is always nice, friendly, and 90% of the time the order is cooked perfectly with no issues.
China Village
I gave this place 5 stars because it’s exactly what you’d want from a spot like this. The food was fresh, tasty, and served quickly. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was right. It’s a great choice for a casual meal, and I’ll definitely be back for more!
By far one of the best sesame chicken I’ve had around 😮💨 the chicken was nice and tender, a perfect combination with the tasteful and zesty sauce. The chicken was flavorful and by far the freshest eggroll I’ve ever had. The staff was very welcoming and they earned the fortune cookie bonus too 🤝🏼👍🏼
Panda Express
The food was good, I have been going to Panda since they opened the first store in Pentagon City in the early 90's. The store opens at 9:30AM sometimes breakfast is not what you want, this was delicious. I got the orange chicken, and my wife got the honey walnut shrimp, we both got chow mein and fried rice. The service person was slow coming over and starting the service but was friendly. The restaurant was clean and not very busy. The food hit the spot, and I will go back again. I did get the spring rolls, and they were good as well. For a chain store, I do think it is good food and consistent with the food they serve, I am a fan of panda express.
I got a plate and they barely put any chow mein on it, and the entree sides were not even full. Chinese places are supposed to have generous portions. Most pandas I go to give so much.
Lin's Grill Teriyaki House
Take heed to the bad reviews. Ordered hibachi chicken, beef in black bean sauce, pork egg foo young, wonton soup, and received a free chicken lo mein. The lo mein did not have a good flavor. The egg foo young was undercooked and mushy. The only thing that tasted okay was the hibachi chicken, but you can tell they trim the chicken and probably keep the good cuts for themselves and give customers the scraps and grizzle. I’ve never had a wonton where the dough just disintegrates. Either wonton wasn’t made correctly or the dough is old. We didn’t try the beef in black bean sauce. After trying the egg foo young, wonton soup, and lo mein we lost our appetite. Spent over $50 and totally disappointed sadly. Also took an hour and a half for food to be delivered. Will not order from Lin’s Grill again. I would recommend China Village or Wu’s Garden which are the only 2 Chinese restaurants that are somewhat decent for the Manassas area we’ve had so far. If you want authentic go to Fairfax or Annandale.
I came here with a Tractor Trailer and it was a tough to maneuver. The Restaurant it self was Clean. The Cashier was friendly and helpful with My decision for Lunch. I got the Teriyaki chicken and Shrimp bowl with noodles. I decided to eat in the restaurant. It was a small dining room. The Food came out quick. I was able to eat within My 30 minute break.
China Palace II
Please consider dining at this establishment. The cuisine is of exceptional quality, particularly the chicken wings and Singapore dishes. The staff is cordial and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. Seating is available for those who wish to dine in.
Grade: D Order: Sweet and sour chicken, hunan beef hot and sour soup. The soup was nothing but soy sauce water. Flat awful someone left a review about how good it was. Pretty sure this place has fake reviews. Sweet and sour chicken was bland and soggy. Got a shrimp piece in my order for a reason i wonder if it was of leftovers. Not terrible but not good either. Hunan beef wasnt good either the meat was good but the flavor was bland. The fried rice wasnt great either. Rice kind of bland needed salt veggies undercooked. TLDR reeks of fake reviews dont order here
