Came into town to visit family and had a taste for Chinese food and they did not disappoint at all!!! I had the shrimp w/ broccoli with white rice and it was more than enough as well as very flavorful!! I also opted for the fried crab sticks they also was very FRESH and tastey!!!

We put in an order for pick up and we were really happy with our order. Food was tasty. Perfect for when you have a craving. We got the Mongolian beef and lo mein and crab wontons. All of it was fresh. My only critic would be I wish the Mongolian beef was a little spicer but we just added siracha. Over all great spot 👍🏽

Went here on recommendation from my hotel concierge at Hampton House Hotel. She spoke very highly of Wok the Wok so I made the quick drive down the road and ordered take out. Friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. My order came out quickly considering the in house dining area was quite busy. It was still piping hot when I got back to hotel and was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Strongly suggest giving this place a try. I am very glad I did. 🙂

he eggdrop soup was watered down and not the best. 2/10 The egg rolls are hands down the best egg rolls on this side of the water!! Amazing texture and there's a whole shrimp inside. They were so addictive. 10/10 The Chow Fun was okay. It lacked in flavor but the texture and beef was good 7/10 The lunch menu is cheap and gives you an entree, soup, and eggroll. Overall a good place to go for lunch

Pretty good chinese food with fair pricing! I ordered singapore noodles, vegetables, fried flounder, total came to be around $60 due to the market price of flounder. The quantity was more than enough! I will definitely be visiting again soon :)

Had a late night craving after working my 2nd job and thought this was the perfect place to try based on the reviews. I was very disappointed in the food quality and price. For 2 pork egg rolls, a small pork fried rice and small chicken broccoli it cost over $21. For that, I recevied two burnt flavorless eggrolls, fried rice that was 40% onion, 50% pork chunks and 1% rice. The chicken broccoli was completely flavorless and dripping in grease. I ate one small sample of each and threw the entire thing away. I am not one to waste food, I'm not one to be overly critical or harsh. The restaurant itself was completely empty in terms of customers inside, just one guy working but he was also playing a video game when I placed my order. The place doesn't even smell like a chinese restaurant. Im assuming the high reviews could be based on the chicken wings or maybe one other dish they just do better than everybody else. I was horrified when I went to wash my hands in the bathroom. Generally, I just a chinese place based on their egg rolls and fried rice. Should have really asked for my money back after I stepped into this bathroom. No paper towels, filthy surfaces, soap with no pump so you have to physically handle the bottle and turn it upside down. Now give this some thought, the people COOKING your food have to visit here to wash their hands. :/ I will never return

Came here for the first time and ordered fried rice with chicken wings (4) with a small general tsp combo that came with a pork eggroll . This was very good, chicken was flavorful and juicy, not too heavy on the soy sauce, egg roll was cooked perfectly. Will return!

The service was fast and efficient. I ordered a general tsos chicken lunch special. I received my food in less then 15 minutes. I got home opened it up but it was very distasteful. The chicken was very soggy and hard to swallow. However the rice was cooked well. Overall can’t complain too much for spending less then $10 on my meal and it came with a free drink.

New to the Area.. I looked this place up and chose to ignore all the bad reviews. I ordered the Penang curry chicken. I had never tried this and wanted something different. I was pleasantly surprised as it was indeed tasty and had a soup base. Fast forward to today. I decided to order the same dish today. My husband drove 15 minutes to pick up 2 dishes for $40. The dish I got had no soup base and was thick Luke Alfredo and lumpy. I called their place of business and their only remedy was for my husband to drive back and get some sauce only. Not remake the dish, give me some sauce. When I explained the drive was 15 minutes she couldn't care less. I told her that I will review on Google and she said no problem. This place is rude and inconsistent. If you want to spend $40 for 2 dishes that they do not stand behind then this is the place to go and waste your money.. The food was bland, dry and not consistent. They will whip up whatever they feel like that day regardless of what you ordered.. Bad customer service bad food

We visited buffet star after a long drive from Philly and just wanted some simply Chinese food. Honestly, we got exactly what we bargained for. For 14.99 per person, we got lots of veggies and proteins, but overall the flavor is just not super good. There was one piece of pineapple on the tray that was straight up rotten, it kinda spoiled my appetite once I saw it.

In my opinion food used to be better, and has gone down the past 2 years. Today, we found a piece of a plastic size of a penny in the fried rice. Staff came and took care of it with a good attitude, love the service, but aside from that there aren’t many positive words. Food was lukewarm (was in at a not so busy hour but still could’ve been kept better) I hope to come back to this place when better.

Some of the worst Chinese food in the area. The staff is friendly enough, the service is quick. But the food... not enough sauce on anything, chicken was overcooked and tasted freezer burnt. The spare ribs were also overcooked, and the sauce was like water. Also, the prices are pretty outrageous for what you get.

Food was better than I expected. The service is another thing. I couldn't understand WTH she was saying. I just gave up and said yeah, o.k. 😁 Wanted shrimp egg roll and got pork one but I did say yeah o.k.😁 They could be more friendly but as long as the foods good I really can't complain. The funniest thing is they have a tip jar. I'm like for what? I called in my order and I come in to pay for it and I'm supposed to tip you too?? Not like I sat down and she served me 😆 Anyway the food is good I highly recommend them.

This is my Chinese fast food staple. They are always fast, delicious and affordable. I’ve been going here for years. Hampton is not known for their Chinese food with their, but I like this one the best. My order is usually egg foo young, chicken wings, general tso and a few egg rolls. The shrimp fried rice is also good with plenty of shrimp

The worse chinese food I’ve ever tasted.. I was led to this place by the 4.4 reviews.. my 3 children and I were HIGHLY disappointed.. my shrimp fried rice was mushy, dry and overcooked.. the eggroll was ok.. I also ordered chicken wings.. which didn’t taste fresh, and were extra fatty. I ordered shrimp and broccoli w/fried rice to eat for my lunch at work the next day… but the shrimp fried rice, and chicken was so nasty… I didn’t even open the shrimp and broccoli, I just threw it away. I ordered 2 large shrimp friend rice, one small shrimp and broccoli, 4 chicken wings, and 2 egg rolls.. wasted $40.. u would think because I ordered so much food they would have made sure it was top notch.. I felt sick not too long after I ate it. I’ll never go here again. Lesson learned!

This is my fourth time ordering. Each time has been delicious. I was so disappointed when my favorite Chinese restaurant changed owners and I just couldn’t find a new one I LOVED.. this Stir Fry has been amazing each time and tonight blew me away. It was incredible. Hot, fresh and delicious. 10/10 satisfied with my meal tonight.

The children take the orders so when I waited for over 20 minutes and asked if my food was finished, there was no record of my order. Asked for a refund and will never be back. I’m actually glad I didn’t receive my order because it was so overpriced. I only went to this location because Golden City was closed. Be prepared to wait because there was over 8 people waiting for their order and no one was walking away with food.

These people are very rude. I placed an order online and went in to pick up my order. No one was in there I stood there about 5 minutes just watching that lady cook. I said hello they ignored me. I left out and then the man called me asking did I place an order. I said yes but you all was very rude I’m the one that just left out because I wasn’t being helped. He said would u like the order I said no, he said ok I don’t care.. 😂 these people not from here be very rude when they think you have to give them your money… I went there once before and the egg rolls was burnt… I’m not going to say don’t go there but as for me it’s a no… Cantonese food better anyway I was just in the area.

I ordered the lunch special chicken and broccoli with white rice. Everything was fine nice and hot until it wasn’t. There was a dead fly in my food. And when I called they told me they had to call me back and INVESTIGATE. When they called me back they told me I was RUDE!!!!! How am I rude for calling about the dead cooked fly in my food. Very confusing when ordering. There’s a drive thru but you have to call ahead or order online first. There needs to be a bigger sign to call or place order online first. I ordered chicken wings and white rice. The chicken wings are fried perfectly! But there was absolutely no flavor in the wings. The rice was cooked perfectly but again zero flavor. The soy sauce gave it some flavor but ultimately this food was a disappointment. I did get the sweet tea assuming it was going to be the container tea homemade but this tea came in a styrofoam cup and it was powdered tea. Also disappointing. Years ago this place was the only go to Chinese restaurant. Food was flavorful. Not sure what happened over the years.

Spent 4 days in Hampton VA . Best food i had was Kim's Chinese. Had dinner at 5 star fine dining restaurant that taste like dog food compare to Kim's. Large portion of food, fried & steam dumplings excellent, shrimp in lobster sauce excellent, shrimp roll ok.

… I stopped by here on my way to Williamsburg.. I’m not from the area.. but I really had my heart set on some Chinese food.. I was drawn to this spot because they have 4.4 stars.. and I have no clue why.. this was one of the worse Chinese food places I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered 2 large shrimp fried rice, 4 chicken wings, 1 small shrimp and broccoli, and 2 egg rolls for my 3 kids and I. We love shrimp fried rice.. and we started with that, and the chicken.. the rice was over cooked, mushy, and dry… the shrimp actually seemed fresh.. the added egg tasted weird, the chicken was fatty, and did not taste fresh AT ALL.. the egg rolls were ok.. and after all 4 of us collectively confirmed how disgusting the shrimp fried rice and chicken was, I had no desire to even try the shrimp and broccoli.. I ended up throwing the shrimp n broccoli away without even tasting it. Not long after my kids and I ate the shrimp friend rice and chicken, our stomachs started to hurt. You would think after buying all that food from this establishment, they would make sure I enjoyed it. Big mistake , $40 WASTED, Never again!

This place is garbage! I used to eat here all the time and now when I decide to eat there again my food is all wrong and undone!
