Pei Wei
Really fresh ingredients. Well prepared. I had Kung Pao Chicken and it was excellent. Not sugary or salty. Lots of flavor.
Chicken was tough and the sauce was too oily. Small portion and too pricy. Staff was very kind.
WOW BAO (Gate D20)
When compared with other bao in the world, this would be average. However there are no other options in Terminal D. The BBQ pork is very tasty on the inside but a over cooked on the outside bun. It's a small space with limited seating.
I got the coconut custard bao, spicy mongolian beef bao and soup dumplings were yummy (the soup dumplings were surprisingly flavorful), but everything was a bit pricey. The soup dumplings are the type that are frozen in a plastic tray and microwaved, and unsure about the bao, but they were all good quality. The Mongolian beef wasn't spicy, but still had a nice flavor, and the coconut custard bao was lovely and fragrant. The workers are nice and everything was clean, it was empty and service was quick.
