Updated review: Tried the food several times and at first the food was excellent. Lately the food has been inconsistent. The General Tso’s Chicken is usually very chewy no crisp to it. The dumplings are ok. The most consistent dishes have been boneless spare ribs, sweet & sour chicken, egg roll, pork or chicken fried rice and white rice. The inside is clean. 15 minutes and the food is always ready for pick up. However I am not satisfied with the quality of the food lately and will be looking to try other Chinese restaurants.
Really good Chinese. The boneless ribs are delicious, the staff is very nice and they are fast. Pickup only, no delivery.
Good Taste
I live in flatbush and got a ride all the way here. I rememeber living in crown heights the wings and fries was good. I decided to visit just for that to see if it changed. I must say it taste just as how I rememeber growing up.
Best Chinese food in the area, their “Four Seasons” dish is super yummy and their sesame chicken is great too!! My go to
Chen's Chinese Restaurant
If you're thinking about coming here on Sunday, get ready to throw elbows with the Episcopalians around 1230. I was seated at 1145. I was the only person in the house, but boy, did it fill up fast. Had the luncheon special Kung Pao chicken. Filling and full of flavor. Wasn't that spicy, so be adventurous and try it. Lunch comes with soup or egg roll / steamed or fried rice.
The food was absolutely scrumptious 😋 Support local business. Tranquil atmosphere, really a nice place.
Prime Avenue
I’ve only eaten take out from here. This is a kosher meat restaurant that serves Israeli, Chinese and American food. Everyone loves the Chinese, but I wasn’t thrilled with the Moo Goo Guy Pan. Last time, I had a burger. I was astounded - the meat covered the entire (good sized) bun! Vegetables fresh. French fries good, but probably are more crisp when eating in.
Outstanding customer service. They even offered me a Military discount! Great Kosher fleishig food, made to order. They customized everything we requested and gave service with a smile.
New Cheung Lee Kitchen
It is a to-go restaurant. Dark kitchen of sorts. The food is good just like in any of the Chinese restaurants of this type. The price and the menu are identical compared to other restaurants of that virtual chinese chain. For example, smaller portion of fried rice and vegetables is 5 usd which is very good.
General Tsos combo with the egg roll is amazing and well priced. Delicious. Cash only
Danny's
Been dying to try this place, since it's very well known for the area. It's on the first floor of a beautiful historic building and the ambiance of the seating/bar area is nice, dark and cozy. The server was very nice, but also very slow. The food itself was good - cooked well, good portions. Different pricing than the online menu, so they haven't updated their pricing online, be aware. Everything was $3-4 more than what was listed online. Overall, it was ok but more average than I expected, considering how the locals rave about it. The place was empty, there were only 3 tables including us, so it definitely should not have taken us one hour and 30 min to eat a burger and pizza. We were pretty frustrated with the service, and the food was not good enough to excuse this, so I'm glad I finally checked it out but will probably not be coming back.
Had the worst bartender there, guy with a handlebar mustache . He hit on my date the whole time. Piss poor service, lame food. Go to any local dinner and you’ll get better food
