Dumpling Queen
Really enjoyed the food here! Especially loved the soup dumplings, the pork and chive dumplings, salt and pepper fried tofu and pork ribs (fall off the bone!). The food came out piping hot and with great flavor. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
The food is amazing here. The steamed dumplings are all my family and I come here for. Love it! The service is a little slow.
China Cafe
Hard-working staff! Fast wok fry clanging action from back kitchen. Fresh crisp broccoli after searing wok fry. Fresh cut, steaming beef stir fry. Honest Americanized Chinese takeout prepared hot and fresh! Solid food prices! Very clean eating area. Self-serve water station. Self-serve sauce packets. Fast uncomplicated service for all THE hard working blue-collar customers that puts McDonald's over-marketed fast service to shame. Not sure why reviewers would ever try comparing China Cafe to a white linen asian restaurant as this type of comparison is nonsensical. Therefore, anything less than 5-stars is demeaning and culturally marginalizing which China Cafe does not deserve. And at least two tables seated with 2-4 customers each eating in the restaurant. So yes a great place to satisfy that itch for old school Americanized Chinese food.
The shrimp roll and shrimp Singapore noodles were absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Great quality and generous portions. Will definitely be ordering from here again!”
Asian Cafe Chantilly
This place has potential. I had Orange Chicken, Egg Roll, and Fried Wontons. Fried Wontons had a good amount of meat. The wrapping needs to be thicker. That would make it Great, but "as is" it is still very good. Egg roll wrapping was great. The filling was Good, but it needs some meat like roast pork just like they make it in NYC. They are pretty good as well. Orange Chicken is a Must Have. Definitely, one of the best orange chicken I ever had. Not on the menu, you need to order it directly. Highly recommend. Pricing was average. I was reading other reviews and people we stating that food is not consistently good. I order again some other time to verify. Ordered again. I recommend the Mongolian beef. The tofu with mixed vegetables is not that good.
Best takeout Chinese food in Chantilly hands down. Spicy Garlic pork, chicken and broccoli, and beef fried rice are our favorite.
Cheng's Asian House
There's a lot of higher end Chinese restaurants now in NOVA, like Peter Chang's and Mama Chang's, but sometimes you just want the normal American Chinese food, well this is the spot. Looks like the husband and wife run the restaurant and their hospitality is top of the line, it feels like your walking into a family dinner. The service was great and laid back. I did not feel rushed at all. The food was great and came out correctly. Not greasy, not too sweet, and fresh ingredients. Thank You Cheng's we will be back again.
Great authentic Chinese dishes. Braised pork shank was amazingly tender with crispy skin and delicious sauce. The skin was delicious on top of a piece of the scallion pancake. Fried eggplant appetizer was delicious as well.
Hunan Village
I went to take to go and the lady at the front was very polite. The food came out in 10 minutes, like she said it would. When I came home to eat the food, it was very tasty and you could feel the freshness of the vegetables. The shrimp fried rice was cooked well and clean. Overall, the food was good and it was worth the money. Plus, the restaurant is certified halal so anyone who is Muslim can eat good over here. They also serve specials during lunchtime throughout the week. Would recommend to anyone who wants authentic Chinese food from a clean restaurant.
I don’t usually write reviews but I went based off the reviews but boy was I disappointed. I ordered the beef and broccoli which had a lot of sauce but no flavor. The beef was bland and slimy. What really took the cake was the chicken low mein. For some reason it had an ammonia smell to it. Didn’t bother trying it and threw the whole thing out. Mind you I’m not a picky eater I’m just giving my objective review.
Hunan Cafe South Riding
Food is always solid and quick. General Tsos, Shrimp with Vegetables and Szechwan beef are some of the best. Crab rangoons are also amazing as well. Be sure to ask for the red sweet and sour sauce for the Crab Rangoons
My husband loves the chicken wings. We’ve eaten here several times and the food is always good and fresh! When I was sick I got wonton soup from here and it was great. The restaurant is small and clean.
Taste of Hong Kong
Taste of Hong Kong dim sum was a big dissappointment. We used to love this place with good, genuine hong kong food. Our favorite place before but last weekend we stopped by here for impromtu dim sum. We were one of the first few to come in. We got dumplings, crab ball, pork ribs, chicken feet, beef and some tofu rolls. Each portion was about $6 and crab ball was about $10 for 2 pieces. *Chicken feet was dry, dumplings was not hot, crab ball tasted a bit weird (this used to be my absolute favorite). Crab ball was was at about $5 each. They have plenty of space to sit. Service, HANDS DOWN TO THE AMAZING SERVICE OF WAITERS AND STAFF. They were so friendly, always smiling and so so sweet. The food was not as good but the service here is top notched. We often get lobster with ginger and scallion and seafood fried rice and roasted pork (these are still good here) . I think just the dim sum food was not a good experience!
Great service for our quick dim sum out. The flavor of the pineapple roll, spare ribs, and steamed pork buns were the highlights. Very good price and the food came within 5 min
Lee Hwa Modern Chinese Tapas & Bar
I can say that this place will be the BEST Korean chinese restaurant in nova if they keep the quality of food and service. I was very pleasant with today's experience. The place was very clean and servers were nice! I ordered 유린기, 탕수육, 쟁반짜장, 울면 (Yuringi, tangsuyuk, Jaengban-jjajang, ulmyeon). Everything was delicious but my favorites were tansuyuk, jaengban-jjajang, and yuringi. Before the new chef came, I've visited here when they newly opened and several times after that. I saw decline in their quality of food and service and price going up so I stopped going. I was skeptical about visiting here once again but wanted to try once more. From today's experience, I agree that the prices can be a tiny bit higher than other places but I will gladly pay to eat this quality of authentic Korean style chinese food now. I would definitely come back again! Look forward to trying other menus.
Taste wise, this is one of the best Korean-Chinese restaurants in the area. The quality of the main dish like Yurin chicken is by far, miles ahead of other Korean-Chinese restaurants in the area. The noodles in the dishes were also tender and fresh. The quality was noticeably better than similar restaurants. That said, this place comes with some caveats that hopefully gets better over time. First, the food takes much longer to come out. We waited roughly 25 minutes before our first dish came out and we overheard several customers from different tables voice their complaints. Also, the dishes are pricey. It is noticeably more expensive, especially considering the portions. I think this makes sense for main dishes like Yurin chicken or sweet and sour sauce deep fried pork/chicken, but not sure if we agree with the price on dishes like Jajangmyeon. I know the restaurant is new so we expect not everything to be perfect. I’d say, it’s definitely refreshing to finally see a Korean-Chinese restaurant with an extraordinary quality. Hope that some of the common problems that customers are pointing out get better though.
China Wok
I wanted to take a chance on a new Chinese place. I ordered the bourbon chicken, chicken pad Thai, and the pu pu platter. I got home and unpacked my food which immediately looked and smelled different. The fried food came in a pool of grease and tasted like both chicken and fish. The Pad Thai had a fishy/chicken-y taste as well. The bourbon chicken tasted like what I typically expect spare ribs to taste like. And the spare ribs didn’t have much flavor at all. If it didn’t taste good, it’s because it didn’t have any taste to start. Overall a bad experience and everything pictured is going in the garbage. I’d go to Wong Kok around the corner any day over this place.
I'm confused why folks gave this place a low rating ..... they probably ordered unpopular menu items. This Americanized fast-Chinese food restaurant deserves 5-stars for what it does well and for offering menu items that no other competitors around the area cooks. It would unfair to to compare this restaurant with a high-end restaurant or even an authentic Chinese restaurant otherwise. This place cooks at least 4 items that other local fast Chinses places do not seem to cook: 1. Mei-fun (very thin rice noodles) 2. Dry stir-fried green beans with garlic (without that thick gunky sauce) 3. Dry stir-fried black pepper beef 4. Pan-fried dumplings (seem made to order) As for the supposed poor service ..... I'm glad they are more focused on cooking the food fast versus chit-chatting especially for a place built on fast Chinese food curated by American taste buds. Besides, the staff seem to wear multiple hats in trying to keep the overhead down and the price of food low; how can you blame them for that.

The store is available on the map but it's not open yet! Don't waste your time driving there. (I will upgrade the review once it's open.)
