Shanghai Peking Chinese Restaurant
Dined in for lunch and service was quick - soup came immediately! The egg drop soup was delicious. When the walnut shrimp arrived I was surprised at how large the portion was - a welcome surprise. I'll definitely be back for carry out and dine-in. Though there are not many tables inside.
The food is good American Chinese food. The portions are normal American sizes. The hot and sour soup was fine. The egg roll was terrible. The chicken and broccoli was fine. The home style tofu also fine. The best dishes were the eggplant and the chicken with peppers in a black bean sauce. The shrimp egg foo young was also classic Americana. Fried rice also good. Overall a solid place to go for American Chinese food. There are not that many tables indoors and out and the atmosphere is perhaps more diner than restaurant. But they have a booth by the window, if you have anyone who loves a booth by the window. The money tree is also tall and in good shape. The staff are helpful and speak Chinese. There were many orders for takeout so this must be a regular spot for the locals.
